Hallmark Channel's "Countdown to Christmas" is making Christmas even bigger and merrier this season, gifting viewers with the most impressive holiday programming ever -- all day and all night beginning Friday, October 31 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, including 12 All New Premieres every Saturday & Sunday. On Christmas Day, Hallmark Channel unwraps a special present for viewers delivering a marathon of the network's 12 All New Premieres from 6 a.m.-12 a.m. ET/PT, with limited commercial interruption. Hallmark Channel celebrates this magical season with over 70 unique holiday movies and over 1300 hours of holiday themed programming your entire family will love through New Year's Day!

It seems like star-crossed travel for aspiring astronomy professor Holly when the bus taking her to surprise her boyfriend and parents for Christmas breaks down. The unlucky bus ride, however, leads her to share a ride with a charming rodeo cowboy. After forming an instant connection with Holly, the cowboy and his brother join her, along with her family and materialistic boyfriend, for the holidays. As sparks fly between Holly and the cowboy, she must decide whether to play it safe and stay with her boyfriend, or let the Christmas cowboy wrangle her heart.

Zachary’s commitment to solitude is further challenged when he meets Marilee, an animal lover and veterinary student who teaches Zachary how to care for his new feline roommate. Chemistry immediately develops between the two, but Marilee has vowed not to date until she graduates and Zachary is not ready to jeopardize his independence, though he senses Marilee is special. The film The Nine Lives of Christmas is based on Sheila Roberts’ bestselling novel of the same name.
