LMN Special 'Footsteps in the Snow' Premieres Tonight, Recounts Oldest Cold Case Ever To Be Solved

Footsteps in the Snow premieres November 12 on LMN.
LMN original special Footsteps in the Snow premieres on Wednesday, November 12 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Weaving together the gripping tale dating back to 1957, the two-hour special recounts the chilling story of the coldest case in American history ever to be solved.

Footsteps in the Snow is the saga of two families - the victim Maria Ridulph’s family and that of the killer, Jack McCullough. When 7-year-old Maria was abducted and killed, investigators considered Jack a suspect, but he passed a lie detector test and had an alibi for the day of the crime. After decades of lost leads and dead ends, Maria’s family had given up hope of ever finding her killer. Decades later, though, the first break in the case came through a deathbed confession when Jack’s mother admitted her son was responsible. One of Jack’s sisters who had witnessed the startling confession vowed to pursue justice for Maria regardless of what dark family secrets were revealed.
