Hunter Parrish Guest Stars on 'Whole Day Down's' Companion Series:Town Car Willie

Hunter Parrish and Willie Garson in Town Car Willie
If you think it’s hard finding a cab in the rain, try doing it in a post apocalyptic Los Angeles that’s been submerged in water. Fortunately for Hunter Parrish (Showtime’s Weeds and the Broadway productions of Spring Awakening and Godspell), Willie is on the job. It may be the end of the world as we know it, but failed actor Willie (Willie Garson of Sex and the City and White Collar) is still working his survival job as an Uber driver! Hunter was just looking for a ride to the airport, but he might also find out the answers to some of life’s biggest questions before he makes it to Burbank!

Other notable guest stars on the series include: Evan Handler (Sex and the City, Californication), Kylie Sparks (Squaresville), Christine Weatherup (Squaresville), Elisa Donovan (Clueless), and Rob Morrow (Numb3rs).

In Whole Day Down, failed actors Willie (Garson) and Patrick (Breen), pursue their mutual appreciation for art by opening a gallery. Limited to one Monday a month, in a space owned by Patrick's dictatorial Father-in-Law, our heroes must overcome a vindictive art critic out for blood, a satanic receptionist, a bizarre love pentagon and a roster of unorthodox and often difficult artists. All that, and the fact that they have unwittingly unleashed the apocalypse.

Along with season two, creators Tai Fauci and Patrick Breen have also launched a companion series, Town Car Willie, which follows the character of Willie as he works his day job as an uber driver, chauffeuring celebrity guests through the lava filled streets of Los Angeles.

Town Car Willie was originally supposed to be a single episode in Season Two of Whole Day Down says co-creator Tai Fauci. "We just had so much good stuff that I didn’t want to lose any of it. I came up with the idea of doing a companion series and pitched it to Patrick. He loved the idea. The bonus is that it doubled the amount of content we could release. And I get to say, “our web series has a companion web series,” which sounds delightfully ridiculous.”

New episodes of Whole Day Down will be released every Tuesday at wholedaydown.tv, while new episodes of Town Car Willie are coming out on Fridays.  Be sure to follow the series on Facebook (facebook.com/WholeDayDown) and Twitter (@WholeDayDown).
