Monday's Soap Opera CliffTwisters (December 30, 2013)

Below are some thoughts on the daytime soap opera clifftwisters for Monday, December 30, 2013.

The biggest clifftwister of the day was Billy (Billy Miller) getting it on with Kelly (Cynthia Watros). Kelly explained to Billy that grief sex happens. But does it happen with that much intensity? Meanwhile, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) arrived home from the airport and wondered where Billy had gone. Elsewhere, Jack and Jill shared some entertaining scenes, Victor's suspicions about Adam's involvement with Delia's accident grew, and Avery discouraged Dylan from looking for his biological father, Ian Ward.

Daniel (Shawn Christian) interrupted Brady's (Eric Martsolf) interview with Nicole and accused him of being back on cocaine again. By the end of the episode the two of them were involved in a physical altercation. Meanwhile, Will was hiding in the closet and overhead Gabi tell Sonny that she killed Nick and Sami wanted her to burn the coat she was wearing that night. By the river, Sami thought she saw Nick's body floating in the water but it turned out to be a log. The floating body was pretty creepy and well done.

The show opened with Ridge asking Brooke, "What is wrong with you?" Thorsten Kaye delivered that line so perfectly in portraying Ridge's disgust over Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Bill's relationship. In Hawaii, Liam and Wyatt battled for Hope's attention. Hope eventually told Liam that she couldn't deal with Steffy at all. Will this be the end of this triangle? Doubtful.

Patrick (Jason Thompson) decided he wanted to have another baby with Robin (Kimberly McCullough) just as Felix was trying to convince Sabrina that she may be pregnant. Timing is everything! Maxie said goodbye to Lulu and the two of them made strides towards mending their relationship. It looks like Maxie is going to go find herself while actress Kirsten storms has her real-life baby (with husband Brandon Barash).
