Eric Martsolf: Accepts the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series (Video)

On Sunday night, Eric Martsolf won the Daytime Emmy Award as Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his role of Brady Black on Days of our Lives. He was an actor I predicted that "would" and "should" win. He was that good. In his acceptance speech, he talked about the joy of working with fellow Emmy winner Eileen Davidson, the excitement he feels playing Brady on Days, the love he has for his wife, and the resurgence of soap operas. In the mid-70s, the magazine did an excellent series titled "The Complete Story of..." recounting the history of a soap opera from its inception.
