Jerry Herman's magnificent score is full of memorable songs including "Put On Your Sunday Clothes," "It Takes a Woman," "Before the Parade Passes By," ""Hello, Dolly!","and "It Only Takes a Moment."

The original production of "Hello, Dolly!" starring Carol Channing garnered 10 Tony Awards including Best Musical and ran for 2,844 performances on Broadway at the St. James Theatre, which at the time, was the longest running Broadway musical in history. In 1969, the movie version starring Barbara Streisand was nominated for 7 Academy Awards and won 3 including "Best Score".
