Actor Stephen Collins Being Investigated For Child Molestation

Stephen Collins is being investigated by the NYPD on child molestation claims.
Stephen Collins, best known for his role as Eric Camden, father and pastor, on 7th Heaven, is under investigation for child molestation.

The Manhattan Special Victims Squad received a formal complaint against the actor and that the incident is currently being investigated.

Word first broke when TMZ posted the audio from a 2012 therapy session between Collins and then-wife Faye Grant, who filed for divorce that same year. In the audio, Collins admits to molesting one girl and exposing himself to others, all of whom were reportedly between the ages of 10 and 13.

The LAPD investigated Collins in 2012 for molestation, and will now reopen the investigation.

Collins was fired from the movie Ted 2 following the TMZ report.

TVGN and UP have each pulled 7th Heaven from their lineup in the wake of the news.

Collins' other credits include Devious Maids, Revolution, The Fosters, Falling Skies, Sisters and Private Practice.
