‘Days’ Grows +10% Week to Week in Women 18-49, For its Second Straight Weekly Increase
UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – June 11, 2015 – “Days of our Lives” has delivered a 17-week high in women 18-49 rating during the week of June 1-5, along with its most-watched week in 11 weeks, according to “live plus same day” viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.
For the June 1-5 week, "Days of our Lives" (0.79 rating, 5 share among women 18-49, 0.40 rating among women 18-34) ranked #6 among network daytime series in the women 18-49 demographic and #8 in the women 18-34 race.
Week to week, “Day of our Lives” grew by +10% in women 18-49 (with a 0.79 rating vs. a 0.72 for the week of May 25-29). It was the second week in a row “Days” generated a week-to-week gain, with the 0.79 rating representing an +18% increase versus the show’s 0.67 during the week of May 18-22.
In total viewers, “Days” was up +1% versus the prior week (2.340 million vs. 2.327 million) and up +7% versus the week before that (2.340 million vs. 2.197 million).
The 0.79 rating among women 18-49 is the highest for “Days of our Lives” since the week of Feb. 2-6 (0.80) and the 2.327 million viewers overall is its best since March 16-20 (2.424 million).
Ratings reflect “live plus same day” data from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of “live plus seven day” data except for the two most recent weeks, which are “live plus same day.”
