The annual "Day of Days" event was held on Saturday, November 14 at Universal Citywalk. Mandy Lynn Denaux covered the event for Serial Scoop and chatted with the cast of Days of our Lives about the 50th anniversary of the iconic soap opera, and much more. Christopher Sean–who plays Paul Narita–shared his thoughts on Days' new direction, social media, and the character he'd love to play.  He also had an interesting answer to whether he would be friends with Paul.

Read the interview below.

SERIAL SCOOP: We know you can’t share too much of the upcoming storyline, but if you had to summarize in one word what your character has been up to, what would that word be?

SERIAL SCOOP: What has been the biggest shift for you with the regime change?
CHRISTOPHER SEAN: Days is going in a different direction. A stronger, more commercial direction. They knew the fans wanted to see these legends … these heavy hitters, back in the ring for one more round. And that’s the right answer to bring back the avid fans.

SERIAL SCOOP: How does social media impact your experience as an actor?
CHRISTOPHER SEAN: I think social media is so prevalent. Obviously, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube ... the trifecta of social media. You’re a trendsetter if you’re on social media. If you’re a YouTuber, people are watching you and people at home see that and know “Oh, you’re just like me,” or “You’re crazy.” You’re setting trends and people know that, if you have 100,000 followers, people are going to be watching you and the movies you create. It’s really important from a business standpoint. From a business aspect, we’re chosen based on talent … it’s important, but it’s only one-third of the reason. It’s also about representation/who you know and social media.

SERIAL SCOOP: If you could play any other character on Days, regardless of age or gender, who would you want to play?
CHRISTOPHER SEAN: John Black. Who doesn’t want to be John Black?

SERIAL SCOOP: Would you be friends with Paul in real life?
CHRISTOPHER SEAN: Paul and I? Yeah, Paul and I have a lot of similarities. We’re both half Asian half American, we both like sports. [Laughs]. I would say yes, just because Paul is a very genuine person. He lives with honor and morality, and those are good traits. I’d like him. I’d probably kiss him.
