Advanced Member Posts: 29,326 Group: Members Member #2 Joined: August 31, 2008	Babs tells Paul that if he can get Derek to give him an extra week, her broker can liquidate stocks and she can get Paul the money he needs. Paul goes to find Derek to ask for the time. Babs spends some time with Meg upstairs, and is back down in the living room, worn out, when James walks in and says she shouldn't wear herself out. She asks him what the hell he's still doing there, and James smirks. Then follows a Babs/James talk about their differeing childrearing techniques. But Derek is at Metro flirting with Bonnie, who's been doing Metro work with Henry until Vienna walks in, dressed to kill, and monopolizes Henry. Derek takes Paul's call and agrees to meet him in Old Town, and then confirms his date that evening with Bonnie. Ali, Emily and Susan are shopping for wedding dresses, but the road to weddings never run smooth in Oakdale. :devil. First Aaron walks in and the gals freak because it's bad luck for him to see the dresses. He gives Ali a big box of her favorite chocolates and takes off. Almost immediately Ali's phone rings. It's Chris. He's stuck at the hospital and needs Ali to feed Morty... So Ali makes up a story about taking an exam, and tells Em and Susan to just go ahead and buy the dress she's looked at last.... she'll pay them back later. :rolleyes Ali gets to Chris's room and is playing with Morty when Chris shows up. Ali says she's got to leave, and hurries out, leaving her chocolate behind. Dani convinces Casey to set up a lunch with Chris, so that she can then show up... reluctantly, Casey does.... Lakeview in half an hour. Of course Derek refuses to give Paul the time he needs. He does give him 24 hours, though. Paul calls Henry to meet him at the diner, and asks Henry to call whoever sent Derek to Oakdale and beg for more time. Henry doesn't think there's a chance, but feels sorry for Paul, so says he'll make the call. When he does, he doesn't really get any information, just that somebody, and the person on the other end of the phone, thinks it was Henry, called and said the deal was off. So now Henry is left wondering, who is Derek and who sent him? Derek is eavsdropping and deliberately dashes past Henry. Henry takes the bait and follows Derek, who leads him to the wine cellar at Fairwinds...and James Stenbeck. Henry tries to leave, but he's boxed in by Derek on one side, and James on the other... "Henry Coleman... we meet at last!" purrs James... So now Casey and Chris are sitting down for lunch at The Lakeview and oh so conveniently, Dani walks up and tells Casey that she just saw Emily. So Casey uses that as an excuse to leave, and Dani sits down. Chris is no dummy and knows what's going on, but Dani insists they just have lunch. Casey goes out to Lily's and finds Emily decorating the wedding gazebo. He's bummed because the annullment papers came in the mail that day. He starts talking about how one day he and Emily can be planning their own wedding. But Emily says nope, no way, I've messed up more than my share of weddings and I'm never going to get married again. Poor Casey is upset to the max... Ali lets herself into Chris's room to get her candy and sees Morty standing next to the empty box of chocolates. She's scared to death that Morty is going to die and calls Chris, who tells Dani that he has to go, possible poisoning. Chris gets up and tells the waiter to put the tab on his room bill, Hughes, Room 207. Dani understands, until she starts to leave herself and sees Chris taking the elevator up... In the room, Chris says they'll have to get Morty to empty his stomach and he gets some peroxide from housekeeping and has Ali hold onto Morty... "we can do this together, Ali" he says, as he gets ready to pour the peroxide down Morty's throat. James and Derek make Henry call Paul and tell him that his guy couldn't get Paul more time, and that Derek is one of the roughest of the rough... Paul then goes to Babs and says he's got to do whatever James wants to save Meg and the baby. :rolleyes He says he doesn't care how many backhoes it takes, he's got to find that money! In the wine cellar, Henry tries to leave, but James and Derek tell him that he's going to be in the wine cellar for awhile... James recommends a certain wine from Africa and locks the door on Henry. Meanwhile, Vienna's running around town looking for Henry, and is convinced that he's with Bonnie somewhere. Susan shows up at Lily's and walks in on Casey and Emily arguing.... next thing, Dani walks in, disappointed that her lunch with Chris didn't happen. Right on her heels, Aaron walks in, asking where his bride is... :rolleyes :rolleyes In Chris's room, Morty's got an empty tummy and will be okay. Ali's ready to leave and Chris hands her a romantic note from Aaron that was inside the box of candy. Ali reads it outloud, and then she and Chris lock eyes, and she tears up. Chris thinks she's just upset because of what they just went through with Morty, but she tearfully says that's not it.... That Morty is such a little darling!

Advanced Member Posts: 11,246 Group: Members Member #8 Joined: August 31, 2008	This soap is more predictable than ever and that is bad when the viewer is expecting a more JAMESish lunacy. I was happy that HENRY COLEMAN was the NEXT STENBECK chapter .... but oh so repetitive in Henry's life. This DEREK/JAMES connection....was totally expected a loooooooooooong time ago.
