People are gathered at Lily's house for the wedding rehearsal. Pretty much everybody's there - Lily, Holden, Faith, Natalie, Casey, Emily Susan, Emma, Dani, Aaron, but no bride... Aaron's staying cool and Susan's getting more and more concerned, while Emily is downright cynical... Dani volunteers to go look for Ali. Casey's still brooding about the argument he and Emily had about marriage, and he's refusing to talk to her. Lily and Holden have a little spat, but manage to patch things up for now. :clapp We, of course, know that Ali's in Chris's room. Chris is pouring out his heart to Ali, and it's really very romantic and heartfelt... Ali listens intently, Chris kisses her, then she pulls him down onto the bed and wow, they go through some really acrobatic moves... ![]() Dani, at the hospital, learns that Ali left early and so did Chris... ![]() At Lily's, it's decided to go ahead with the rehearsal, with Holden as the minister and Emily as Aaron's bride. This is pretty funny, especially when Faith corrects Holden about how the wedding vows should go... Janet's brought Jack lunch at the police station, and they're in the interrogation room laughing and kissing... Janet says she's got to leave and get to Emma's... she's got to whip up her "apple chipotle pecan pies"... (Janet even manages to put an Italian accent on that...) Dallas hands Jack some files and Jack asks him why the Leo Morrissey case is still open. Dallas says there's new evidence that could lead them to the guy who tried to drown Leo. ![]() Jack takes off for WOAK and breaks the bad news to Brad. He implores Brad to come to the station and confess. Brad is just a wreck, and asks what the new evidence is. Jack talks about footprints and fingerprints from the phone Brad used, plus all the circumstantial stuff... Brad pleads illness and goes to the station with Jack while Katie stays at WOAK to reshoot a promo... at the station, Brad pleads with Jack to help him... destroy the evidence! Jack tells Brad all the reasons he can't do that, but Brad gets downright desperate.. finally Jack tells Brad to leave. Brad calls Katie, who asks how things are going, and Brad says that he honestly doesn't know. ![]() Dani ends up in the hall outside Chris's hotel room. Inside, Ali's come back to real life and is horrified that she's late for her wedding rehearsal. Chris can't believe she's leaving and actually going through with the wedding, "we just made love!" Nevertheless, Ali gets dressed and rushes out, with a half naked Chris standing in the doorway calling her name, while Dani peeks around the corner... At the farm, Janet and Liberty are busily making pies, and having mother/daughter chit chat. Janet is over the moon with happiness because things are right again between her and Jack. Liberty's happy, too, and glad that her talk with Jack helped... Liberty asks Janet what she's going to wear to the wedding, and they realize that Janet doesn't own anything that covers "the girls" so the two head out to shop. Later, Liberty pops into the police station and talks to Jack about how happy her mother is. Jack asks her about how she's doing after the thing with Leo. Liberty tries to put up a tough front, but then admits that it sucks. She then goes on about how hard it was on Brad, and how happy she is that she's found her dad after all this time, and she can't imagine her life without him... she leaves and Jack picks up Leo's folder.... ![]() Ali rushes into Lily's and makes her apologies. She's freaked when she learns that everybody went ahead with the rehearsal without her, but Aaron says all she has to do is show up, look beautiful and promise to love him forever... Dani walks in and says she went to the hospital to find Ali, but they'd said Ali had left. Ali said they must have just missed each other, and Dani muttered, "like 2 ships in the night..." ![]() Now they're all at The Lakeview having the rehearsal dinner, and Aaron makes a sweet toast and asks Ali for the box of chocolates so everybody could have one. Ali says she ate them... ALL... she wasn't paying attention. Then she gets up to go to the restroom, but in the lobby runs into Chris, who asks her if she "told Aaron". She said no, and she's not going to... Chris isn't okay with that...Chris keeps pleading with Ali to admit she loves him, but she isn't going along with that, and then Dani walks out. She tells Chris that Ali will make a beautiful bride... :rolleyes ![]() Meanwhile, Emily has kept bugging Casey and finally he gives up sulking and all is well with them again... for awhile.... :rolleyes Of course this leads them to going back to, I think, Emily's office, and Casey wants to get naked. :rolleyes But Emily wants to talk, she says she wants to love him, but not get married. Casey considers it, and asks Emily to promise to stop bringing up the age thing, and to never tell him to stop kissing her... ![]() Jack walks into Emma's kitchen where Janet's admiring the pies. He tells her that Brad's in trouble, that Leo's case has been reopened. Janet asks him what he's going to do and he says "nothing, it's already done" and pulls out some papers that contain the evidence... Janet asks him to give him the papers and let her hide them, and forget about it. Reluctantly, Jack agrees.... and walks out.... Brad and Katie are stressing about what could happen when the phone rings. It's Jack. He tells Brad that he has nothing to worry about.... Brad and Katie are relieved, but Jack is already feeling the weight of what he's done... ![]() Well, it looks like it's Casey and Emily's turn to be in scenes that are real dejavu all over again.

I don't think Leo's related to Keith, but it's funny that they have the same last name. :rolleyes

This is definitely going to eat away at Jack. The spoilers didn't make it sound like ti was going to happen quite the way it did but I really enjoyed that whole part of the story. I think this has the potential to give Michael a really good story and something he hasn't had in a long time. It was more like shades of the rogue cop that first arrived in Oakdale. I just hope he decides to leave the force over this and open a PI agency That was a pretty pathetic wedding rehearsal :rolleyes Who has ever heard of the minister not showing for the rehearsal? And why was Ethan the ring bearer not there since if anyone needed rehearsal you would think it would be him. And nobody to stand in as best man for Holden who had been promoted to minister? And then we had the groom who just acted like a doof through the whole thing Where was poor little Morty today while all of that action was gin on Hiding under the bed I could really enjoy Ali/Chris but Ali/Aaron not so much.Previews look good I think I'd like to find me some of those magic flowers! |

Judy, I know! I was wondering where in the world the minister was, and shouldn't they have had them walk in from somewhere in some kind of order? Geeze, poor Morty is probably gonna have to see a dog shrink with everything that's been going on around him lately... ![]() It would be great to see Jack as a PI!

I'm not liking that Chris & Ali are looking like the "bad" couple. Right away you have Dani catching them and throwing out thinly veiled jabs.. Dani is quite the little bitch. ![]() Two more words that need to be stricken from Janet's vocab: Care-o-MELLL, Chi-POHT-Lay Gawd can this woman ever talk without hyper-enunciating??

It cracks me up how Janet always puts that Italian twist on certain words, words that I'd sure never think of as being said that way, particularly since most of the time she doesn't use that accent. :rolleyes
