With his hair this way, he kind of looks like the actor who plays House - I just can't think of his name right now.

Looks like Dusty faked his death to go find Johnny. He almost found him when Stenbeck got him. Now I'm convinced that the "Josie" character they were casting is Lucy. :rolleyes

I'm afraid about Josie now too but it makes no sense that they used a Jen script when they had more recent Lucy scripts. Also Grayson was very vocal that the only way he wanted to revisit Lusty was if Peyton were to return. He just doesn't think recast chemistry works. I'd be okay with it if it was just a short story to address where Johnny is and to hopefully get him away from Lucy, but then Lucy can go do some serious jail time for kidnapping :devil I think I'd rather see him with Emily than Lucy :fliplid

Judy, I think you're right about Dusty looking for Johnny & Lucy. :hmm

I don't think I'd want him to go another round with Lucy, though, and no offense to Grayson's preferences, Peyton's Lucy wasn't much for me in the end at all. I like the actress OK but unless she can pull off the new age she was SORASd to be, I think it would be a disaster...

I saw Spencer on an episode of "Greek" and was blown away with how much better of an actress she is in that show. Maybe her turn as Lucy completely spoiled me against the idea of Dusty with ANY Lucy, I don't know. :wacko

I do NOT want him with Emily, either. Nor Meg.

I'd much rather have him with Lily at this point unless another Holden-Lily reunion is in the works.

Or, GASP! :eek , someone NEW. :shutup

FTLOG please do not recast Lucy!!!!!!!!! :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad

I never liked the character and thought both actresses were horrible in the role.

Why not Dusty and Bonnie? We can call them Busty!!!

Well, I don't care what Grayson thinks about recasts and chemistry, sometimes it DOES work, and furthermore, Peyton List's Lucy had better not ever appear in Oakdale again, and a new Lucy should just come through, drop off Johnny and take off again. :smack

I think when Grayson spoke about Peyton he was thinking of the popularity they had and it seemed like he was only talking for a day or two. I think the disaster with Spencer is what really turned him off to revisiting Lusty again so I would be rather surprised if he agreed to that as part of a return. I wouldn't be surprised though if that was dealt with and he moved on. It could be a story to bring Johnny back into his life but no relationship with Lucy.

I would like them to try Dusty with Janet. She isn't going to be with Jack forever so why not see if Julie and Grayson have chemistry? Grayson had also talked about pairing Dusty with Bonnie before he left the last time. That could be interesting too. They've got other options than needing to resort to Lucy or even hiring somebody new.

Well, didn't Dusty and Rose have good chemistry, so maybe Dusty and Janet would, too... :hmmm

That was my thinking that Dusty and Rose had good chemistry so Janet just might work well with him. I'd at least like to see them try that although I have a feeling she is going to be headed to Brad for a bit.

I like the idea of Dusty and Janet, too. I'm also hoping Derek gets to stick around as a good guy. I like him with Bonnie.

Ok, being Miss In the Minority again--might I say WOO HOOO on a Peyton List return!!! I think she was a great actress and she and Grayson had wonderful chemistry. Besides, younger/older relationships seem to be very popular now (Emily/Casey, for ex.).

Grayson was never so good as when he was involved with the Lucy kidnapping arc. And I may be a minority on this board, but there are LOTS of Lusty fans out there!

You know if "Josie" turns out to be Lucy then I am willing to bet that late 40's businessman is Craig as was speculated.

Craig again??? :wacko Then I would heartily pity the actor who is recast in the role. How many good actors can be expected to take such a strong character, make "Craig" his own, and then get fired?!??!?! :eek

I loved Scott Bryce 'back in the day,' warmed up and then LOVED Hunt Block's version, had started to warm up to the Jeffrey what's his name one (the writing stunk, the actor did a very good job, IMO), and then was happy to have Scott Bryce take another crack at it.

The problem, despite CG's inane reasoning, has NOT been the actors' portraying Craig - it has been the WRITING. Unless that changes for Craig, then it's just going to turn into yet another recast-firing that leaves fans shaking their heads.

It's bad enough to bring Lucy back, but to bring another Craig back just makes no sense to me.

Yep. Even though Craig is a bit older. :rolleyes

And even though they had an amazing actor playing Craig that nearly saved one of hte worst, most boring stories ever (the Quad) and they fired him because Goutman has a personal problem. :rolleyes :rolleyes :rolleyes
