 Emily and Casey are lunching at The Lakeview when Aaron and Ali walk in, Aaron's got a shift coming up, and they're  up a storm. Ali ends up sitting down with Emily and Casey and is planning on having lunch with them, until Chris walks in and sits at the bar and orders a sandwich to go...from Aaron.  Right away Ali starts telling Em and Casey about how she and Aaron are "taking it up a notch" and "starting"... Casey's like, "Starting?"  and Ali says they're trying to get pregnant. Casey thinks that's great and Em thinks they're rushing things... Ali keeps staring at Chris and finally gets up and gives Aaron a big and says she's got to go, but they'll work on the baby stuff real soon... :rolleyes :rolleyesChris takes his sandwich back to the hospital and barely gets back there when Ali storms into the staff room and accuses him of stalking her.  Chris tries to convince her to see that they've got something going on that needs to be addressed, but Ali doesn't want to hear it... Chris really puts the pressure on her, but she walks away.... She rushes right over to The Lakeview and tells Aaron to get somebody to take his shift so they can go work on the baby project. They're gonna find that kind of hard, I think, with everything that's happening out at the farm.  Emily and Casey end up back at her office and get ready to have sex, but when Casey says that maybe they should start a baby of their own, Emily cools down fast.  Bonnie and Paul are at the police station waiting for Derek to be brought up from his cell. When he gets there, Bonnie tells him that she's decided to be his lawyer after all. Now, this sure looks real... since while she's saying this sye's looking at Paul, who really would not have any business even being there. Derek says nah, he changed his mind, but Paul insists that Bonnie go talk to Derek anyway, in the interrogation room... once there, Derek tells Bonnie to convince him she should represent him... she doesn't really try very hard, but Derek says ok, you changed my mind.  Then he tells her he wants complete immunity. :rolleyes. When she puts that to Dallas, he says it's not going to happen, and they try to work out a compromise. Bonnie tells Derek to give them something, anything, that will lead them to Meg. Derek says okay.  Elsewhere, Jack is running around telling Carly that he's got a private eye job and might have to be out of town so he needs the kids to stay with her. She says fine, but wants to know what the job is. Jack finally tells her, after swearing her to secrecy. Then he asks her to tell Janet that he might be gone for awhile... :rolleyes Carly finally agrees, but tells Jack that he owes her big time...Holden and Lily wake up together and are just soooo happy....  Emma calls and wants them to come over and hear what she's got to say about the project. Mike's at the farmhouse, too, and Emma insists that she's not going forward with the project, she just wants to clean up the soil, and that's it.Carly's come to the farmhouse, too, to give Jack's message to Janet, who doesn't take it well and takes off to find Jack! She does find him, and gives him a piece of her mind, and finishes up by telling him that she knows that Carly will always be his port in a storm...  Holden and Lily get to the farm and Holden tells Carly that he and Lily are back together. Carly understands that a crisis brings people together, but wonders what will happen when the crisis is over.  Mike gets the  from Lily, and they agree to always be friends... :rolleyesLucinda and Brian and Luke show up and Emma gives them her decision. She's got an idea for the land... she wants to donate it to the town to be used as a Nature Preserve... Brian says he thinks she should have a fund raising benefit and he's just the one to help her set it up...  Paul's going ballistic at the station after Babs tells him she thinks James is after the baby. In fact, he throws his cup at the door just as Jack walks in. Pretty soon they're all in the interrogation room listening to Derek tell them what he knows about James' plan. He says that James won't hurt Meg, he wants the baby. And he knows that James has some kind of beach house on the East coast. Paul bellows that that's a lot of territory and how the hell are they supposed to be able to find it. While Jack talks about putting out pictures of Meg and James, Paul storms out, saying he's going to find his wife. Casey and Emily are back in heat mode and getting busy in her office. :sleep Afterward, though, the baby issue rears its ugly head again. :sleep Janet goes to Carly's and tells her that Carly's won. Carly doesn't know what she's won, but Janet tells her that Carly and Jack will always be together. Holden, Lily and the kids get home and plan a cookout. Faith stays behind to ask her parents if they're really getting back together, and when they say they're going to try, she says they have to try really hard. Now we see James and Meg. James is introducing Meg to her "new home". A large yellow house by the water, it kind of looks like a B&B and there's a sign in front with two swans, one white and one darker... |

I love how Carly and Jack are evolving in their trip back to one another. I think that this time, when they're finally back together, it will be totally believable. I hope they can somehow exonerate Derek - I think he and Bonnie make a really make a good couple and it's about time they put her talents to use. Thanks for the recap! |

I'm confused about the house as well (though I could answer "Bedminster, NJ" HA!) Since when is Oakdale near a "coast?" This is the first episode I've watched since MB left. It was REALLY confusing what with Janet and Lily looking so much alike to me, sheeesh. I liked Jack and Carly today a LOT.  I agreed with Carly that Jack should tell Emma and Holden about Meg, though. That's just ridiculous to keep them in the dark.If Jack is no longer with the PD, what was he doing at the station, calling some of the shots?? OK, so was Paul, but HE does that all the time anyway. :rolleyes Where is Margo? I absolutely do not like Emily and Casey together at all. Barbara was shockingly calm and logical today, given that her grandchild-to-be is being held by James. It was refreshing but strange to watch.  I'm looking forward to tomorrow

They said James had a place on the east coast so they aren't claiming the house is in Oakdale. That's why Paul was saying it was such a big area that how would they ever find him. CarJack was wonderful and the highlight of the show.
