What happened last Thursday to have such a bump in the ratings.? Was it something promo'd? I never understood why a soap would have such a staggering amount of viewers each day. For a daily serial, it's not like you would just happen to tune in one day and not the next (typically at least). If you watch a soap, it seems like it would be a daily thing (not counting DVR's and VCR's for later viewing) I would love to see a 15 minute breakdown of each episode. I wonder if the episode usually starts off high and if a favorite character or couple is not seen in the first segment, do people just turn off the show? |

The only promo for Thursday was SOW calling Thursday the can't miss day when James offers Meg a heartbreaking proposal. Thursday wasn't that much better than the other days in total viewers. I have to wonder why Wednesday dropped to much. That was the day Holden got hurt. I actually think there are a lot of other facts that affect it more day to day rather than just who or what is on. It's just nice to see ATWT have some positive numbers again despite Y&R taking a big hit. |

Probably cause hardly anybody cares if Holden gets hurt or not. ![]() It IS good to see improvement, no matter how slight, in almost all areas. ![]() Y&R isn't going to help themselves any by bringing stupid Eden into Genoa City, and having Victor keep up this pity party... It might be fun having Billy Abbot back though...

I hate Eden. I see absolutely no reason for her character. Maybe for like a few days to convince Michael to go help his father, but I think Lauren could have done thats same job too. New Billy is awesome and I usually hate recasts. I still think David Tom was the best Billy, but after the last 2 (Val Kilmer lookalike and whoever the last guy was) this new Billy is such a vast improvement. Y&R is definitely must see these days, even the sucky characters aren't too cringe worthy to sit through. |
