I really caution you--if you don't want to know all the major details of the James/Paul/Dusty/Carly/Jack stuff for next week, don't read this!!! S P O I L E R S ATWT'S Jack to Carly: I want you back! Carly and Jack move one step closer to reconciliation [next] week when Jack professes his love for her following a near-death experience at James's hand. The revelation comes when the oft-married pair is thrown together in the frantic search for Meg. Jack receives a text message allegedly from Meg, claiming that she is being held on Mattamoi Island and he races there. "It's a booby-trap," Park reveals. "Jack gets strangled and he cuts his hand pretty badly. Carly learns of the deception from Derek and sets out to save Jack. When she arrives at the dock, she finds her bloodied ex in the water, pulls him out and revives him. They stagger over to a nearby cottage, where James and a flunky knock them out and set them adrift. "Why James never does away with Jack, I'll never know!" Park cracks. "I think he just enjoys torturing them. So Jack and Carly end up in this boat and in a fit of dehydration, Jack admits his love for Carly," the actor says. The proclamation could be excused as delirious rambling, but Jack won't let the sentiment go. "In the hospital, after being hooked up to the IV, on his way back to recovery, Jack decides that this is what is supposed to be," Park reports. "Jack thinks there's a reason why Carly was there; she's always at the right place at the right time. He tells her maybe they've got their problems, but maybe they should give it a go. She basically turns him down." To add insult to injury, Carly phones Janet and summons her to Jack's bedside. "When Janet shows up, he asks where Carly went. Unfortunately, as always, for some odd reason Jack is going to end up hurting someone again," Park muses. "And I think in the end, he's just gonna wind up hurting himself." ***** So long, Stenbeck? Add falling from a precipice to James's cause of death scorecard. The sinister Swede's latest reign of terror comes to an end [next] week when he takes a seemingly fatal fall. The faux royal apparently dies during a showdown with Paul, Dusty, and Meg after Paul discovers his wife and her former lover asleep in a lighthouse where they are hiding. Amped up by James's suggestion that Meg and Dusty are having an affair, Paul has Dusty in his sights. "James has given Paul a gun saying, "Go get rid of Dusty, you might need this<" Anthony Herrera explains. Not only does James hand his son a firearm, he prods him into using it. "James is saying, "She's here wither her old lover because he's more of a man than you are. Kill him!" the actor reveals. "Dustin pulls a gun on James and says, "Here's your enemy," Then James says, "Go ahead, Paul, and Paul turns his gun on James. But he can't shoot his father. So then there's a tussel, the gun is fired, the tussle goes outside and James falls down and goes boom!" Is James really gone or is this yet another scam? "He comes back, "Herrera allows. "Not as a ghost, but as a figment of Paul's imagination, and it start right after his death." ***** Luke and Noah are next slated to lock lips on Oct. 1 On Oct. 3, Dusty catches up with Emily, Lily, Holden, and Margo. (There is a picture of Dusty and Emily kissing!) Oct. 2, Casey is hurt by Emily's decision Oct. 3, Alision is blown away by Chris's request Oct. 6, A new woman comes to work at WOAK Lily rails at Lucinda for her betrayal Margo threatens to put Meg(?!) in jail |

I want to wait and see this all transpire before passing judgment on the Carjack spoilers. But, at first thought, although it isn't positive, it seems to be the story we've been asking for. We want Jack to be the one to pursue Carly, Jack to be the one who realizes that he loves Carly NO MATTER WHAT, and Jack to be Gman again. Carly just said this week that Jack is the best man she knows and she knows that she was never good enough for him. Jack has to convince Carly that he loves her no matter what, near death or not. |

I think it's very positive. Carly should have concerns and I am glad at first she says no. After just wondering what happens with Holden and Lily after the crisis passes and knowing that nothing changed for her and Jack after the crisis with Parker, I can totally understand that she would assume that once this crisis passes things will go back to the way they are. There is also a "down the road" spoiler that Janet helps Jack figure out what he wants. Janet already realizes that Jack would never be truly hers so I think she will tell him to fight for Carly. I think we are going to get the story we wanted and Jack will be the one to pursue Carly. Michael recently said in SID he can't wait for the reunion even though he doesn't know when it will be I want the reunion to be done slowly and right but I do belive it is coming. The writing has been so good lately for them that I am optimistic.

^^exactly! It sounds like this could be the story we've been waiting for a long time now! Jack pursuing Carly and Carly turning him down. Don't get me wrong: I do want CarJack back together, but I want this story to build slowly. I hope we won't be disappointed. |

It sounds really good and I'm looking forward to it. It's just after two years, I'm sensitive to hitches. Waiting, waiting, waiting for Jack to come around... finally he does, and guess what, ahh, Carly doesn't feel like it anymore. :rolleyes Typical I know, it just makes me a little..

^^^Except I don't want the reunion to be that easy. They have so much to work out. I don't think it's because Carly doesn't want it anymore. I think she says no because she thinks it's the crisis talking and in the end nothing will have changed and she'll have her heart broken again. Plus I think the show knows once they are together they have to leave them together for a long time and can't repeat the same breakups again. There is so much story to be told as they get back together. Let Jack fight for Carly and convince her why it will work. I'm still waiting for the love story we were promised after Jack went off the bridge in 2004 and maybe this can be it. I'd feel like we were cheated if they instantly went back together. I'm really happy with the writing for them as characters right now and their scenes together are fantastic. Heck we even got "the Look" again this week. I really want them to work out all their issues rather than just a sudden decision to reunite. I do believe that reunion is coming and I am optimistic it will be a good story getting there.

I agree with Judy et al. I think 'Janet helps Jack decide what he really wants' means that eventually Janet is going to help Jack realize he needs to fight for Carly. I agree that Carly has done some stupid things, and Jack has had every right and reason to be mad at her, but he took it too far. As the character said before Carly went off the canvas when she left with Simon (to facilitate MW's mat leave) 'I never should have left you.' He shouldn't have. He should've bee mighty angry re: the whole setting up of Nick and messing with that investigation, but he shouldn't have just bailed. He didn't even TRY to suggest counselling for them. So I want C/J together, but I want it slow and romantic. And if TPTB really, really want me to be super happy, they will create a scenario that makes it sensible for Jack to sing 'Worth It All' at some point. Because A) I love when MP sings, and B) I. LOVE. THAT. SONG. |
