James is dead! - Tuesday; Maybe.....

Advanced Member Posts: 29,326 Group: Members Member #2 Joined: August 31, 2008	Carly revives Jack, and they get ahold of a boat and get to Farrow Island, where they find Swansdown Cottage. They go inside, and start looking around. Jack has a feeling that something's off, and walks out of the bedroom into the living room. James is hiding behind the door and knocks Jack unconscious, while one of James' thugs chloroforms Carly. The two wake up in a small boat out on open water, with no idea where they are, or what James' plan for them is. Meg and Dusty awaken to find an unstable Paul holding a gun on Dusty! Paul is convinced that Meg betrayed him with Dusty, and things get harrowing for awhile. At one point, Dusty picks up the gun he found and keeps it ready.... Suddenly James appears and tells Paul to shoot Dusty, and calls Meg a whore... Paul is losing it and Dusty pulls his gun and holds it to James' head and tells Paul to say the word and Dusty will shoot James and it will be a pleasure. Paul lowers his gun and James and Dusty struggle... a shot is fired and Dusty's hit in the shoulder, and James falls over the railing, to the ground... Emily's asked Susan to meet her, because she needs Susan to drive her home from the hospital after a minor surgical procedure...a tubal ligation. (I called this...) Susan thinks Emily's making a mistake, but there's no talking her out of it. Em leaves for the hospital and Dani shows up. She asks Susan what's wrong, and learns that Emily is having a minor surgical procedure. Susan leaves, and Dani gets on the phone. She tells Casey about Em having surgery and Casey rushes over to the hospital. Alison's at the hospital, too, having an appointment with Dr Schiller to make sure all systems are GO for them to get pregnant. Unfortunately, after doing an ultrasound, Dr Schiller tells Alison that she's got Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, which will make it extremely difficult, if not impossible, for her to get pregnant. Ali asks what causes PID and Dr Schiller says it can happen for many reasons, but that one common cause is having multiple sexual partners... Alison gasps as she realizes that her history as a porn star could cause her to be sterile. Chris finds an upset Ali and takes her somewhere private, where she tells him what she just learned. Chris gives her a nice pep talk, and when she calms down, they walk out of the room and there's Aaron! He's come looking for Alison and found Dr Schiller instead, who told him about the PID. He's wanting to be supportive, but when he realizes that Ali told Chris about the PID before she told him, he's angry... As Carly and Jack float in the boat, Jack's hand starts bleeding again, and he's losing a lot of blood. Carly uses her bandana to help stop the bleeding, and she and a somewhat delirious Jack talk about where they've been, relationwise, and where they're going... Suddenly, Carly spots land! They reach land and Carly leaves and is able to get ahold of Dallas. She learns about James' death and tells Jack. Although Jack wants to try and walk 2 miles Carly tells him they're not going anywhere, they'll wait for help. Casey finds Emily before her procedure and demands that she not have it. He tells her that if she loves him, she shouldn't have the tubal ligation. Emily tells Casey to leave... Later, Dani finds Casey and learns what's going on. Casey is still hopeful that he changed Emily's mind about having the procedure. However, back at the hospital, Emily's doctor asks her if she still wants to go through with the procedure. Emily says, firmly, "absolutely!" Paul rushes down the lighthouse stairs to James who is still alive, but barely. Paul is babbling to James about James tomenting him all of his life... with his dying breath, James grabs Paul and tells him that he always thought Paul would be worthy, but apparently he's wrong... Soon, Barbara arrives and also some medics and/or cops. James' body is put on a burney and he's put in a body bag... Meg and Dusty come downstairs, and Meg says that Paul's been shot... Barbara is shocked to see Dusty and asks if James shot him. Paul says no, he did... Dusty says that this isn't the time to talk about it... Paul stands looking down at James in the body bag, and Meg walks up and tells him she loves him. She's taken to the hospital to be checked out, and Paul stands watching as James' body is carried away. But, Paul isn't free of James yet, as we see James as an aparition, tormenting Paul from beyond the grave. :rolleyes Well, although a few parts were kind of unrealistic, mainly the time travel aspect between Maine and Oakdale, I was generally totally engrossed in everything that happened. I am desperately hoping that Emily went through with that tubal ligation! Paul desperately needs intensive therapy!

I'm glad though it was Dusty that brought him to his demise. Paulie boy couldn't even do that. I now wonder if Babs was the one who helped Dusty She didn't seem very shocked to see that he was alive but was only concerned about if it was James that shot him At this point I'm leaning towards her being in on this. How the heck did she know where they were anyhow Who would have thunk it that James would be the one to knock some sense into Jack so that he would realize he was wrong to judge Carly He didn't seem that delirious to me. Loved the CarJack scenes again today! Since Ali "most likely" can't get pregnant, I think that's a sure bet that at some date she will :rolleyes Casey and Emily They started out interesting but have become a total bore. The only reason now I want them together is to keep her away from Dusty CarJack looks great for tomorrow! Paul definitely needs intensive therapy!

Judy, do you think Em actually had the tubal ligation? I am she did. Of course, the thought also crossed my mind about since Em had given her egg to Susan to create Ali, that maybe somehow there could be a storyline similar to that somehow with the sisters. I sure hope not, though, as I would be right along with whoever was suffering morning sickness. :rolleyes I could see Babs being in cahoots with Dusty, and yeah, how did she know where they are? I wonder if Dallas told her after Carly called him? The sequencing with this is so strange...

If Babs didn't learn until after Carly called then no wonder Jack wanted to walk the 2 miles because then they would have been waiting a heck of a long time already I'm afraid too that Emily didn't go through with this and she'll donate an egg to Ali. Then it starts getting just too icky. She would be the baby's grandmother/aunt/mother I just can't imagine that both circumstances came up on the same day if there wasn't a reason for that. I also have a very hard time believing that Ali was able to donate an egg to Gwen and the problem was never discovered then. Babs would want to find Johnny so I could see her helping Dusty. And I could also see her being shocked at Paul's saying Dusty was alive the other day because she was afraid Paul was going to discover the truth about Dusty and not that she thought he was nuts to think that although we know he is just plain nuts.

Newbie Posts: 14 Group: Members Member #115 Joined: September 17, 2008	I'm not real good with soap opera history, but when Jack and Carly fell in love for the first time weren't they locked together in a room or something somewhere by some bad guy Jack was chasing (Teague?)? And hadn't Jack been stabbed? I could be wrong of course. Does anyone else remember this or am I "making things up" ?

I do remember the Teague stuff, it was a cabin, I think, and was very cold. They've also been locked up in, I think a wine cellar at a restaurant, and the list goes on...

That is when for a short period of time they had to admit their real feelings for each other. Before that they claimed to hate each other lol. Carly became delirious from hypothermia. They were chasing Teague to try to clear Holden of starting the church fire and Teague locked them in his cabin. Jack did get stabbed but Ben and Lucinda got there in time to come to the rescue.

Whether dead or alive, James is going to continue to torment Paul FOREVER AND EVER. Loved Carly and Jack. You'd think Maine was across the street from Oakdale the way everyone gets there so fast. I think Dusty should keep his hair long and curly. He's smoking sexy that way. Now back to Oakdale to see how everyone reacts to Dusty being alive.

I started thinking about it, but it made my head spin thinking about all the familial relationships there. I had forgotten that Ali was going to donate an egg to Will and Gwen. Apparently the writers did, too. I loved Carjack today, too, and am glad to see Jack being the one realizing how much Carly means to him and how much she's done for him. I, too, think that Babs is/was involved in Dusty's disappearance, esp. since he was on the run looking for Johnny, her grandson.

I mean, did she steal Paul's cell phone? If not, couldn't Meg and Dusty have gotten help sooner? I think I missed something. And I hadn't thought that Babs was in on the Dusty faked death. That's probably a good guees, though.

Though I'm glad that Dusty would be the one to push him over the edge. - Ali = another victim of medical rewriting. I really HATE when the writers treat the audience like we're morons Who is their medical consultant, Wikipedia???? - Babs & Dusty = I really like the theory that she helped him fake his death, look for Johnny, etc. That would be great!!!!! Of course, that means there's no shot in heck that it will be written that way.... :rolleyes - Carly & Jack = I'm looking forward to seeing the episode - Paul = he's a typical Hamlet headcase... :rolleyes Look at who his parents are, though. Can you blame the guy for being so unbalanced?

FTLOG somebody get out the scissors!! hides James is not dead as it was SO obviously a dummy thrown off the lighthouse. I like Anthony but I hope this haunting thing won't last long. I've had it up to here with ghosts and hallucinations in Peg's SL. Hopefully Dusty will be busy enough with Em & Lily to not threaten Paul so much. Loved hearing Carly say she loves her bandanna almost as much as she loves Jack. Seeing Maura's mic pack in her back pocket kind of ruined the boat stuff for me though. I continue to hate Aaron. I continue to love Chris. I continue to loathe where they are going.

Now that you mention Maura's micpack I realized it had registered with me, too, but only slightly. I was too busy thinking how glad I was that they had her looking disheveled and unmadeup... of course, in a way it was kind of funny that she want from being completely madeup to almost no makeup in such a short time when we've had actresses go through hell and back and still look pristine.
