Paul had a breakdown..Wednesday; And Dusty's going back to the dead..

Advanced Member Posts: 29,326 Group: Members Member #2 Joined: August 31, 2008	Well, Paul's in the hospital in Oakdale, I assume in the psych ward, and Barbara told Meg that he's doing "much better". Meg's still on the island, so is Dusty, so is Carly, so is Jack. In the hospital, Carly's helping Jack eat and they go into full carjack mode. This time it's Jack who's telling Carly that she's always there when he needs her, that he loves her and maybe they should just stop fighting it. Carly says she does love him, and doesn't even have to think about it. "Jack, you know you're my true North..." Carly gets teary and tells Jack that he's just feeling gratitude, and that they're two different people now... before their talk can go any further, a nurse comes in and Carly leaves to make a phone call. That phone call was to Janet, telling her where Jack is, and that she should go to him.... Janet's just finished telling Liberty that she thinks Carly and Jack are in each others' blood, but she's willing to take the risk of having her hert broken yet again, so she goes to Jack... Holden gets to the island to bring Meg home and walks in on Dusty and Meg. Of course he's furious and shocked to see Dusty alive, and goes all Holden, and wants to beat up Dusty. (AS IF! ) Meg explains things to Holden and so does Dusty, but you know Holden... :rolleyes In the end, though, he agrees to keep quiet about the fact that Dusty's alive. Dusty isn't pressing charges against Paul for shooting him (accidentally, Meg assures him, Paul was aiming at James ) and the police have told Dusty that his presence won't be made public. Dusty plans on going back to Asia to resume searching for Johnny. He gives Meg the phone # of a PI in San Francisco who can get in touch with Dusty if Meg needs him... Dusty tells Meg again that he doesn't think that Paul's enough of a man to be the kind of father Meg wants for her baby... Holden's waiting on the dock for Meg when Carly shows up. Holden hadn't heard about Jack being hurt, or Carly being there, so he was getting caught up when Janet showed up. :rolleyes Carly and Holden went with Meg back to Oakdale. Holden thought that Meg should rest, but she insists on going to the hospital to see Paul. Carly tells Holden what happened between her and Jack in the hospital and says she doesn't feel like being alone right now, so she invites him down to Metro for a drink... Noah's back from Europe and surprises Luke at the farm. Of course Luke's to see Noah, but there's a meeting scheduled at Metro with Brian and Lucinda. They're getting organized for the benefit, and Henry's given them a good price, so they're having it there. Brian calls to move up the time, and Noah comments that Luke and Brian seem to be getting along better, and Luke says yeah. Then they leave for the meeting. Mike comes over to Lily's to say good-bye. He's heading to Europe to work on some projects there for Neil. They talk some and are hugging good-bye when Lucinda and Brian arrive to take Lily to the meeting at Metro. Lucinda's thrilled to learn that Mike's leaving town. The meeting's going on at Metro and they've just talking about whether or not Lily is comfortable having the benefit there, she says she is, but just then Holden and Carly walk in. Of course, Lily stalks over to them and asks Carly WTH she's doing with her husband. Holden tries to explain to Lily why Carly's there with him, but Lily is being PPP and so Holden takes her home, where he explains things to her.... Now Lily and Holden have another conversation... :rolleyes Later, Lucinda tells Carly that she thinks it would be better if Carly doesn't get involved with the benefit, and that she should leave the actual benefit to Henry. Carly asks Lucinda if she's trying to throw Carly out of her own Club, and Carly tells Lucinda, "Go to hell!" and stalks off.... Lucinda tries to explain to Brian why she's so supportive of Holden and Lily now, despite not being happy with them as a couple for a long time... she's older and wiser now, she tells Brian, and Brian says wiser, but not older. Lucinda tells him to keep talking... Back on the island, Dusty has a visitor. Nathan Jolly, who's looking for Dusty Donovan, because James Stenbeck's estate told Jolly that Dusty Donovan would be responsible for James' remains. Dusty tells Mr Jolly to contact James' son, Paul Ryan, because Dusty Donovan is dead. Mr Jolly leaves, and Dusty calls somebody on the phone and tells them to get him the first flight out of there... Jack's sleeping when Janet walks into his room, but he wakes up fast and asks what she's doing there. She tells him that Carly told her to come, and then starts babbling a mile a minute and pulling out all this stupid stuff for Jack, while Jack lies there staring at the ceiling. Finally Janet comes to a screeching halt and says she's really stupid for coming and is going to leave, but a contrite Jack stops her and says he's glad she's there. Meanwhile, Meg's gone to see Paul, but he's sedated so heavily that he doesn't wake up. She finds the doctor and asks what's going on, and the doctor says that "your mother-in-law" said he had a violent episode and we're trying to keep him calm. Meg is up on her high horse and says that Paul just needs her to take him home... Well, this time warp thing is so blatant, you just have to go with it, but I keep asking myself WHY the writers set it up this way. Loved the carjack stuff, and glad it looks like Jack's going to have to earn his way back to Carly's ! Lily sucks. 'nuff said. Holden sucks, too. Meg sucks, she has no chemistry with any man I've seen her with yet, not even the smoking hot Dusty. :rolleyes I loved Carly telling Lucinda to go to hell! It's nice that Noah's back from Europe.

Advanced Member Posts: 11,246 Group: Members Member #8 Joined: August 31, 2008	I just watched Tuesday and Wednesday's episodes together and if I was hanging by my hands from the guardrail that James Stenbeck fell over to his "death"....then I would be flapping and snapping like a flag in the wind because this WORLD is moving way too fast. If JAMES is not DEAD...then he will be the GHOST of PAUL for a very long time. And I am with JuliaGRO....except....GET THE RAZOR...and forget the SCISSORS....DUSTY needs a buzz cut. What I am wondering about....if DUSTY is speeding away from the scene then my guess is that he will be bringing JOHNNY back very soon and I would assume with ROSEANNE. What got to me was how MEG was left behind while PAUL was sent back to OAKDALE. He may have had a meltdown...but I cannot believe that MEG and PAUL would stay apart from each other... CARLY and JACK....I don't know....I think CARLY was NUTS for leaving JACK behind.

Michael and Maura knocked it out of the park! I'm glad Carly turned him down because she thinks this is thie crisis talking and in the end nothing will have changed. I was kind of worried until I saw the preview and Jack's determination: Alone? Or alone with me? Now fight for her GMan! I enjoyed Holden more today in his scene with Dusty. Those type of scenes just work so much better for me. However he and Lily are both jerks So Dusty, what is up with James now? Something just didn't sit right with that undertaker and I felt like James was still playing games with Dusty since I didn't believe for a nanosecond that James was dead. There just had to be more to that scene. Lily gets the queen bitch award I'm glad she felt bad when Holden explained what happened, but too little too late. Like Luke trying to avoid the crisis when Holden and Carly walked in and that he is getting along better with Brian. I have a feeling there was a major rewrite in that story. Good to see Noah back The line of the day goes to Carly - Go to hell! (Lucinda) Agree Meg sucks and Dusty is smoking hot. I still want them to try Dusty with Janet and see if there is chemistry there. I like Janet....just not with Jack

Member Posts: 497 Group: Members Member #11 Joined: August 31, 2008	Dusty with Janet? Oh Lord.. I like Janet but not enough to care who she dates. She reminds me too much of Rose, who I never liked. Rose was with Paul at one time wasn't she? Un. real. I hate Emily but I do think she and Dusty have chemistry... Lily is about the only other viable alternative for Dusty imo.

I understand that she's upset about seeing Carly and Holden come in together, but the one she should be mad at is Holden. Plus, she was in Carly's bar, so seeing Carly was a definite possibility. Maybe they met in the parking lot for all she knew. Plus, why is it all right for her to stay friends with her former fling, Mike, but Carly has to be dead to Holden? I'm really enjoying Carjack. I loved when Carly told Lucinda to go to hell.

Newbie Posts: 59 Group: Members Member #20 Joined: September 1, 2008	I wish they would have killed Paul off and have James stick around a while longer. I hope that there's some way to get Meg and Dusty together, I think Marie and Grayson look great together and would make a good couple.
