Advanced Member Posts: 29,326 Group: Members Member #2 Joined: August 31, 2008	Paul's still hospitalied, in the psych ward, and still sedated and the doctors aren't telling Meg anything and neither is Barbara, or else Barbara doesn't know anything herself. This is very strange. Holden tells Lily that emma's gone to Iva's, because apparently Jason and Iva aren't getting along. :rolleyes So Holden and Lily are going to host the benefit, and Lily decides she's going to talk to Carly and tell her that she's not going to make a scene at the benefit. Holden leaves to talk to Meg and try and get her to come live with him and Lily for awhile, and to rethink her marriage. Meg tells him to forget it. She loves Paul and someday Holden and everybody else will see what a wonderful man Paul is. Casey brings Emily flowers and thanks her for not going ahead with the tubal ligation. She tells him she's sorry he's hurt, but that she did have the surgery. This leads to lots of drama between the two of them, with Casey saying he's not going to be Em's boy toy anymore. Janet has Jack back at the farm and is pampering him. She goes upstairs to run him a bath and turn down the sheets. :rolleyes and Carly shows up to see how Jack's doing. Jack wants to go back to where they were in the hospital the other day, but Carly doesn't. She says she still loves him, but she knows they aren't good for each other... she again pushes him toward Janet, and then leaves... Jack invites Janet to be his date to the benefit. At first she doesn't believe him, but eventually she's thrilled. Just then, Margo calls Jack and asks him to come to the station to fill her in. Jack leaves, and Janet leaves, too. Janet goes to Carly's and wants reassurance that Carly's not playing with her, and that it's okay for Janet to care about Jack. Carly says yes, yes, yes, and then brings out a dress she's made and Janet goes upstairs to try it on, for the benefit. There's somebody at Carly's door..Lily. Although Lily intended to apologize, of course she has to get her jabs into Carly. Carly tells Lily that if she's looking for a fight to come on, Carly's ready. Eventually Lily calms down and she and Carly come to a tentative agreement that Lily won't make anymore scenes and Carly will try and keep her distance from Holden. :rolleyes Carly tells Lily that she really hates what she did with Holden. Carly tells Lily that she's not going to be at the benefit, not just because of Lily, but because of how Lucinda feels. Of course, now Lily is all concerned about Carly's feelings, and tells her she hopes Carly will change her mind. Now Margo's at Meg's questioning her about what happened on the island. Margo says that somebody was shot on the island, and Margo wants to know who it was. Meg does her best to cover up what happened, but you know how Margo gets... Margo says she's not leaving until Meg tells her the truth. Now Margo tries to play on Meg's feelings about Paul, insinuating that Paul is faking his breakdown to keep from talking. Meg is furious, so Margo says that if she has to put her in jail, she will... Margo tells Meg that she's got one day to tell her what happened on the island, or she's going to jail. Margo leaves, and Meg calls the phone number that Dusty gave her.... She leaves a message with the person who answers the phone, "I'm in trouble and I don't know what to do." Carly tells Janet that she'll take care of altering the dress for Janet to wear. (should be interesting since Carly never even really looked at Janet wearing the dress) Holden walks into Emma's kitchen and Jack says that Margo thinks there was another person on Farrow Island, and asks Holden if he knows anything about it. Holden says no, but of course Jack can read him like a book. Holden leaves, but stands outside the kitchen looking guilty. Carly has altered the dress for Janet and brings it to the farm, where Jack says my, my, twice in one day. He then reminds Carly that Janet doesn't live there anymore, and when Carly says she doesn't know what she was thinking, Jack says oh, it's just the new, improved Carly, to which Carly answers, "oh, I can revert to the old Carly." Jack says no, he likes the new Carly, version 10.0... OK, I loved the part of the previews where Lily walks up to a guy from behind, carrying a tray of drinks, and asks him if he would like a drink, and the guy turns around... it's Dusty, and he says, "Hi, Lil!" At that point, 'Lil' drops the tray she's holding. WTH is supposed to be the deal with Paul now?

Advanced Member Posts: 4,468 Group: Members Member #46 Joined: September 2, 2008	I cannot stand Lily and am ready to have her see Dusty and wonder just how she's going to manage all of her judgemental feelings. She's treating Carly a bit over the top, IMO, and Carly has done more than enough to keep her distance from both Lily and Holden. Lily is a hypocrite. I hate when she's written this way... I'm also not liking the nuLily either. I just can't gel the actress with the character... I liked Holden's scene with Jack I Carly from start to finish today!!! I actually felt bad for Meg today when Holden and then Margo were on her case. For better or worse, her family needs to back off of the anti-Paul thing (at least for now), and Margo was awful in her Super Cop mode (what else is new). I would rather have seen Dallas talk to Meg... And WTH?? NOW Margo is loving the idea of Jack finding his way back to Carly?? Since when has Margo decided that Carly isn't the town homewrecker? I have NO CLUE what's going on with Paul. Part of me doesn't care. Part of me is curious, heaven help me... :rolleyes Casey is a moron. Emily drives me nuts but I actually agreed with her today. I have no interest in Janet but I think that's more because I wasn't watching the show when she & Liberty came on, and as good as Barb's recaps are, I didn't get a good feel for the character just by reading about her. I don't like her with Jack (shocking!) but am not sure I'd want her with Dusty, either. I liked the previews, too

Member Posts: 497 Group: Members Member #11 Joined: August 31, 2008	I agree, Holden and Margo were really awful to Meg. I'm glad that she stood her ground where Paul is concerned. I just hope that continues. Carjack are reminding me of the time when they made their deal about Carly being a "good girl" and getting her prize. Only now the shoe is on the other foot. What can I say about Janet? I'm forever ambivalent about her but I do really like her and Carly getting along, dunno why. to Casey! Em may have her reasons for doing what she did but she's treating Casey shabbily anyway. Bet she wouldn't have made this decision if Dusty were her boy toy. Ok, so do I get points back if I say Dusty looked really hot in the preview?

And I still like DUSTY with a buzz cut better but without the facial hair...of course he looks just fine. CARLY 10.0...!!! I loved watching CARLY, today. As fast moving as this world can turn....I am enjoying CarJack at this pace. JANET and CARLY...I love that they are BFF. JANET and her fawning over JACK...I don't know...I tend to taste a little bile in the the back of my mouth when she JANET gets all enthused about a date with JACK. I like her most of the time...and I think I could jump on a DUSTY and JANET bandwagon....but what would they be called? DUET? DUNET? DANET? JUSTY? JASTY? JANTY? JANEY? DUSNET? DUSTET? DJ? JD? The DONOVANS?

I'm just wondering what will be left of Carly's friendship with Janet if CarJack get's back together. OOOOhhh the previews!! Lilly and Dusty! I can't wait to see that.
