Lots of glam women on the show today!  Janet was funny with a facial mask, cucumbers on her eyes and huge rollers in her hair when Jack showed up with her dress.  It was cute seeing Jack's reaction, and Janet looked great.More jockeying between Carly/Holden/Lily/Lucinda about where Carly should be during the benefit, and how Lily can handle her own life and Lucinda should stay out of it...  I did like the stuff where Lily and Carly managed to be civil and Carly winking at Jack and Janet as they drank champagne...  Lucinda gave a little announcement that at her suggestion, the board of WW had agreed to buy sell back Emma's land to her for $1, so now all money donated at the benefit will go to clean up the soil and develop Project Go Green.  Everybody was happy and Holden introduced the entertainment, which was pretty good...  Lucinda looked great and she and Brian were nice together, they make a goodlooking couple. Back at the farm, Aaron got turned on by the sight of Ali in her undies, and wanted to make love, but here we go again, Ali just couldn't do it... so the newlyweds had a spat... :rolleyes Meg again called Dusty's PI who didn't know if Dusty had picked up the message from the other day. So an upset Meg rushed over to talk to Holden. She told him that Margo was threatening to arrest her, but that she couldn't tell her about Dusty being alive. Holden said that he'd tell Margo himself, before letting his pregnant sister go to jail. Emily goes over to Margo's to find Casey, but he's not there, or else doesn't want to see her, but Margo is happy to tell Emily how happy she is that Casey and Em are over, and what a worthless piece of #$@% Em is....  Ali goes to meet Aaron, but she goes to The Lakeview instead of to The Benefit...mixed signals, supposedly. She runs into Chris there, and Chris again badgers her about how they belong together. He's got a job with a company that wants him to go back to Africa, and he asks Ali to come with him. Of course she says no, and rushes out, just as Aaron walks in. Aaron tells Chris to leave Ali alone. Chris says that he knows what Ali wants, and Aaron asks how the hell he could know that... Aaron tells Chris that "you're dumber than you look!" Chris loses control and tells Aaron about sleeping with Ali the night before the wedding!  Aaron finds Ali back at the farm and asks her to tell him the truth. Did she sleep with Chris the night before the wedding? Ali, crying, admits it. Aaron walks out on her... Lily starts carrying around a tray with champagne, and offering it to the guests at the benefit. She walks up behind a guy and asks him if he wants champagne, and he turns around... it's Dusty! Lily drops the tray and everybody turns to see what's happening, and see Dusty. Chaos reigns... Emily is shocked of course. She's been sniffing around Meg anyway, after overhearing Margo pressuring Meg to come clean about what really happened on the island, and now...Dusty, back from the dead! Jack is really affected by seeing Dusty alive, and kind of forgets that he's not on the force anymore, asking Margo if she needs help. Later, he asks Janet if it's okay if they leave early, and they do, and he kisses her goodnight outside her door and walks away.  Margo takes Dusty down to the station, and Lily wants to go after him, but Holden and Lucinda stop her. Later, Lily hears Meg and Holden talking, and realizes that they knew earlier that Dusty is alive. Margo asks Dusty how he faked his death. Dusty said he was a step ahead of Evan Walsh, and replaced the poison in the syringe with a designer drug that stops the heart and makes it appear that you're dead... Margo asked him who helped him, but Dusty said he wasn't going to implicate anybody. Margo says fine, and leaves to make up a list of all the possible charges he was facing... Now Emily storms into the police station and goes straight into the interrogation room. Dusty tells her that she looks good, and that gets him a slap.  Later, though, after yelling some, a crying/humming Emily throws herself into Dusty's arms... :rolleyesBack at the benefit, Holden apologizes to Lily for not telling her the truth about Dusty. Just then, the entertainer announces that the next song has been requested from Holden for his wife, Lily.... Lily tells Holden she wants to dance with her husband, so they do dance, but of course, Holden has to send longing glances over Lily's shoulder to Carly.  Of course, while he's doing that, Lily is reliving the moment when she saw Dusty alive again...  :rolleyesOne of the great moments from today comes when Margo walks into the interrogation room and finds Dusty and Emily kissing passionately. Margo's facial expression and body language is hysterical... Emily slinks out, with Dusty's eyes following her all the way...  Meg goes home and stares at a picture of her and Paul. Loved the show! It was great seeing everybody's reactions to Dusty showing up. I always love hearing Aaron say that somebody is "dumber than they look".  It seemed strange that Noah and Luke weren't at the benefit.  Previews looked very interesting!

Did Jack actually kiss Janet at the door? I thought he just gave her a hug. I've erased the show already so I can't check. I do believe Janet sees the writing on the wall. |

My favorite line of the day "hey, Lil." Then I had to laugh at his next statment that was something like sorry for just showing up I loved Lily's reaction but would have liked to have heard a few more gasps and things being dropped as people saw him  He cleaned up very nice  Emily on the other hand drove me up the wall with her humming  And by then I think she was saying Casey who  Margo was annoying and funny today  Lily, Holden and Meg all got on my nerves too  Will Dailey was pretty good LOL Janet didn't get a kiss goodnight but rather just a hug Somebody gave a giant hint today about helping Dusty  I think it was ridiculous that Luke., Noah and Henry weren't at the benefit. I did like Lucinda and Brian today. This is the first day I really enjoyed them together or even liked him. I think they have done some retooling of the character and the story. I wish I could care about Aaron/Ali/Chris. It had potential but just isn't working

I thought today's show was really good, too. I thought the Dusty reveal was good, but I was surprised that people didn't seem more surprised by it. I couldn't believe that Emily started her annoying humming again.  Only at the Oakdale PD can you walk into the interrogation room unnoticed. I'm not liking the idea of Emily and Dusty together again. She seems to have gotten over Casey pretty quickly.Lily was driving me nuts. She's such a spoiled brat!! I didn't like how she spoke to Lucinda today at all. Where were Nuke?? The previews for next week look good (at least the Carjack ones. I'm not so sure about the Emily/Dusty previews.) |

I like EMILY and now that her humming is under control....a little dab of humming was just right!! It is one thing to have DUSTY return and everyone all SURPRISED....but I think MARGO was practically out of SOAP LINE when she practically arrested DUSTY.....for what???? I know he is not arrested, yet....and probably never will be....but the strangest thing this week has been MARGO SUPER ALL AMERICAN COP...the only WOMAN that wanted to REALLY ARREST SOMEONE to FINALLY "KILL OFF" JAMES STENBECK. Another NO SHOW at the benefit....KATIE AND BRADLEY. I did NOT pick up on any HINTS of whom assisted DUSTY. |

Judy, I picked up on that hint too. Someone needs to start a seperate spoiler discussion for that one. I don't blame Margo for giving Emily the dirty looks when she caught her with Dusty. Poor Casey. He doesn't stand a chance against Dusty. And Dusty and Emily didn't look like they had actually kissed--just some "almost" kissing, though I thought it was very sexy. Next week's preview of them in the sack looks promising. Had they had sex yet before Dusty "died?" Or was it just one time in a car? I don't know why these details don't stick with me. Awwwww....CarJack! Just like Adam and Eve with that apple!

Other than when Margo was running roughshod all over Meg and Dusty, I thought she was GREAT when dealing with Emily Emily -  Her humming was AWFUL!!!!! I thought Meg was OK. I do feel bad for her - everyone is on her case pretty much all the time. Luke was blatantly absent Dusty looked very good until he was in the interrogation room with Emily. I need to catch up on Brian... I do like him with Lucinda, too. The actor looks very familiar to me but I can't place where I've seen him before.Chris was way out of line with Aaron, IMO. I cannot stand when Chris is written like a begging puppy either. Boy, he just loves the Stewart women, doesn't he? :rolleyes I thought Aaron handled it fine with Ali back at the farm. I expected him to Go Snyder and rant, rave and throw objects. Picking up his coat and walking out was surprisingly restrained. Ali... oh dear. I feel bad for her but she's got the genes that make her do one dumb thing after another, regardless of what her intentions were. I was very underwhelmed by the reaction Dusty's return had on the crowd. Lily is an  I actually didn't notice Holden looking at Carly, but she watched him and Lily dance. I'm sooooooooooo glad I wasn't watching the show when they hooked up. I think my eyes would still be hurting. Janet did look nice - but I don't like her with Jack. I think I'd like Jack to stay as a PI type and NOT re-join the hapless Oakdale PD but it's kind of sad to see him long for his old job, too. And I am 100% in the dark about the hint with Dusty and who may have helped him.

Anni, I'm hating the way they're writing Chris, too, and I was at how rational and non-Snyderish Aaron was back at the farm with Ali.
