Casey's playing a mean Guitar Hero at home, letting off steam about himself and Emily. :biggrin Margo gets him to stop and forces him to face the fact that apparently Emily didn't see a future for them, since she went ahead with her tubal ligation.

Dusty's wound seems to be infected so he goes to the hospital to have it checked. His phone rings and he learns that Paul's debt has been paid, so he calls Meg and gives her the good news, and tells her that nobody will be able to trace it back to him OR her... :hmm

Alison bounds into the exam room and throws her arms around Dusty, she's so glad to see him. She thanks him for paying for nursing school and he comments that he wants to see grades.. :devil She says no, you don't, but they're getting better. :wink The doc comes in and writes an RX for an oral antibiotic and an antibiotic lotion, tells Dusty to come back in a week. Ali goes to fill the RX's and Dusty walks out of the exam room, and comes face to face with Susan, who, to make a long story short, tells him that if he comes "even thiiiis close to Emily, I'll come and kill you myself!" :eek Dusty figures he should leave... :shutup

Holden and Aaron are talking about what's going to happen now with Aaron and Ali, and of course there are the usual comparisons with Holden and Lily. Holden tells Aaron he needs to talk to Alison, to find out what she wants to do. So Aaron calls Ali, and they agree to meet at Java. There, Aaron says he still loves Alison and doesn't want to lose her. But Ali says that she keeps hurting Aaron over and over and that staying together isn't right for either of them, so a tearyeyed Aaron walks out...

Casey walks in and sits down with Alison. She tells him that it wasn't easy, but she told Aaron they couldn't be together. Casey asks her what is it about "you Stuart women..."

Paul goes to WW and asks Lucinda to ask the board to give him time to pay back the money he used. Lucinda looks surprised and says that the money has been paid back. She even showed Paul the paperwork. Paul leaves, determined to find out who did this... :hmm

Emily's at the hospital for a post op checkup and ends up taking Dusty's RX to him at The Lakeview. She runs into Paul in the lobby and he tells her that if she wants to keep her job, she'll work on finding out who paid off his debt. She's angry and tells him to "ask your wife." :pullhair

Paul puts 2+2 together and realizes that it could be Dusty who paid his debt. He goes home and Meg ends up admitting to him that she asked Dusty to pay the debt. She waits for Paul to "rip my head off", but Paul is very, very calm, too calm.... he convinces her that he's going to be able to deal with this. Meg goes upstairs, telling Paul to join her and he says he will in a second... Meg hands him his pills and reminds him to take them...

As soon as Meg leaves, Paul tosses the pills into the trash. James walks up behind him and says, "I'm so ashamed of you!" :pullhair James tries to get Paul to believe that Meg loves Dusty, but Paul resists and in fact says that he's going to see if there's a cure for "the dead guy" and takes some pills. :hmm

Dusty takes his pills and says he feels better already, :devil and then they have a little discussion about the antibiotic lotion... :rolleyes Next thing you know, Dusty's shirtless and Em's putting lotion on his wound... just as they kiss, Dusty's phone rings. It's Meg. She tells him that Paul knows Dusty paid off the debt, but is taking it surprisingly well. :hmm

Lucinda storms into Emma's kitchen and atarts ranting and raving about how Lily's treating her, and wants Holden to talk to Lily. Holden's busy working on Emma's sink...AGAIN... :lol He refuses and says no, this isn't his problem, it's Lucinda's. Lucinda says oh no. Here's what I think. I think Lily is angry at Dusty, sexually angry, and she won't admit it and is taking it out on me, and THAT'S YOUR problem. :hmm Holden refuses to fall into that trap, though, so an angry Lucinda storms out, but not before yelling at Holden to "just keep this up, I hope you go down that stupid, retro sink!"

In a minute, Margo comes into Emma's kitchen and starts asking Holden what he knows about who helped Dusty. You can tell Holden really wants to give Lucinda up, but he doesn't, although he says enough to Margo to point her in Lucinda's direction.

Sure enough, Margo shows up at WW and starts trying to get something out of Lucinda. :devil

James keeps pushing Paul, telling him that Meg wants to get rid of him, but murder is too messy. He gets Paul to look into Meg's purse, and the next thing you know, James is gone, and a washed out looking Paul is sitting on the couch. Meg comes downstairs and Paul says he got a call and has to go out of town that night. :eek Meg is surprised, but Paul tells her to write down everything he has to do, medically, and he'll be fine. She gives in, saying it will probably be good for him, and goes upstairs to write stuff down... Paul takes something out of his pocket, it's a note that I guess he found in Meg's purse... to Dusty.... :hmm

Dusty and Emily are post-sex and Dusty tells her that he wonders what they'd have done before, if they'd had time to do things right. She says they're not the same people now, and he says that he's tired of carrying around secrets, and that he trusts her... :waiting (wait until he finds out she gave Paul the idea that Dusty paid off the debt.. :smack )

Casey's got Alison at his house and they're playing guitar hero. :lol :lol Now, that's what they should be doing, instead of thinking about having kids. :clap

I really liked the show today, even with Emily in it. Because she's already starting the slippery slope downhill... :clap :clap

Lucinda even pulled some good emotion out of Holden! :clap :clap

Loved Alison and Dusty, and was sooooo glad that she told Aaron it is over between them.

Susan looked gorgeous today! :2thumbs

I still don't know why Margo keeps sniffing around this Dusty thing. Doesn't she have enough other stuff to do to keep busy? :pullhair

Previews looked good, particularly the part with Paul sitting with the woman and her little boy and giving them passports and saying that the little boy's name is now Johnny. And then, later, seeing Dusty tell Paul, "I'm gonna kill you, you little bastard!" :woot I love the way Dusty talks.
:devil

I'm very easy to please. I really like Casey and Allison. I never liked this version of Aaron and Allison (preferred her with Chris), but I think Casey has a lot more potential.

CasEm was fun while it lasted, but I think there's some long term potential here with Cason.

Yeah, and it would still keep Emily in Margo's radar if Casey and Alison get involved. :shutup

I wasn't sure about Casey/Alison but I really enjoyed their scenes today too :2thumbs I agree seeing them play Guitar Hero was much more fun than worrying about babies. I think they could be an interesting and fun couple.

My big gripe with Susan is once again she forgets what Emily did to Dusty and that Emily already tried to kill him! :cuss Her sorry butt would be in prison if it wasn't for Dusty and yet he's the bad guy :huh :rolleyes

I liked the Ali/Dusty scenes too :2thumbs

Margo continues to be a busybody :rolleyes

I cracked up when Holden was working on that darn sink again :lol Maybe you should consider a plumber Holden! His scenes with Lucinda were good. I enjoy him much more in scenes like this that aren't romantic.

I'm glad that Aaron and Ali are over :clap

Paul drove me up the wall :pullhair :pullhair :pullhair Too bad he couldn't go out of town off screen for a few days :cuss

While I still don't want Emily with Dusty, I thank her for the opportunity to see his chest again :wink Do that everyday and I may warm up to the pairing :wink

I think Margo's only purpose these days is to be a pain in the butt to everyone else. :waiting

Not that I'm complaining but I don't get the Ali/Casey thing being floated so fast. It's too bad that there aren't more options for both.

I thought Dusty calling Paul a "little bastard" in the previews was hilarious. I'm glad that Paul's stupid scheme gets shut down right away. I just want to know, where is this thing with James leading? I'm losing patience with it. It's the same story as before, only James is "dead."

I loved Dusty's name calling too. Except that from the previews, it's obvious what Paul's up to, and when Meg finds out, it'll be the same old "I'm leaving you, you'll never change, yada, yada, yada". I hate it when they have that same old conversation. I mean, Paul is Paul, and by now, Meg should surely know it and either accept it or leave him for real and that's it. I hate that side of this relationship.
Give more Lucinda, I love it!!!

I really thought Paul was great Thurs! Loved the scenes with James. I thought the actor was very natural and believable. I'm going to enjoy his attempts to sabotage Dusty's Johnny search.

I'm still not into Emily and Dusty--never have been. I hope they put him with Janet.

I want JAMES ALIVE and BACK haunting PAUL as a real person. As much as I like PAUL and MEG....I just cannot understand the DUSTY FACTOR that is being forced in here. I still love MEG but she has not been RIGHT since I have developed feelings for her. I think it all stems from the "If I LOVE someone on the soap...then TPTB will screw with them".

LUCINDA and her RETRO this...RETRO that....about EMMA's kitchen....It is strange that HOLDEN keeps playing plumber-man.

Good show. And I am watching LIFE ON MARS at the same time as recalling this episode....but STENBECK history and DUSTY/PAUL business is just not cutting it very well for me.
