S P O I L E R S I've summarized the following from the Oct. 21 issue: Jack and Carly succumb to their passion and get it on this week, until Janet unwittingly interrupts them.  The steamy session occurs after the former G-man confronts his ex about why she blew off his proclamation of love and why she keeps trying to push him together with Janet.... Michael Park: "He's kind of chasing her down, trying to figure it out and he finally asks her 'What are you gonna do the next time I need your help?' She says, "I'll just ignore it and walk away." Jack kind of challenges her and says, "You think that's possible?" To prove her point, Carly shoves Jack in the pond and struts home. Soaking wet, he follows her and demands to know why she did that. "It's her way of just wanting this whole Jack and Carly thing to be over, forcing herself to be done, to move on," Park explains. But despite their differences, the pair can't ignore the festering heat between them. "At the last moment, when they're ready to give up, they embrace and that leads them upstairs," Park reveals. "Then, of course, there's a knock at the door and it's Janet." ..."In that five-10-minute moment that Janet and Carly are talking downstairs, he realizes that most likely everyone is going to get hurt in this scenario...Carly will get hurt, because sooner or later, Carly and Jack will realize that they can't be together...Janet, of course, will be the most hurt in all of it because then she will have felt used." Jack admits to himself that it's best if he leaves, and without word, he and Carly come to an agreement "It's one of those moments when they just understand that this is just not going to work...They can't have what they want, physically anyway." I am totally confused now. Jack and Carly are supposed to be the endgame here. Barbara Bloom stated that outright. So what they heck are they doing? |

CarJack is still the long arc but the question is just how long that arc gets. Personally I think the writers are playing with fire right now as so many feel we just got played again. If they aren't putting them together, stop giving the fans hope. The teasing is way past old and an awful lot of fans are fedup with this news. And now according to Soapdom Henry and Vienna are going to help Janet scheme to get Jack back. They are going to use Henry to try to make Jack jealous. How stupid can you get? Jack knows Henry and Vienna are a couple so why would he believe Henry is a threat? Henry is one that told Katie when Carly returned that Jack and Carly always get back together so what's made him change his mind now when even Katie has said their connection will never be broken and Janet said the same thing. Plus Henry is Carly's partner and should just stay out of it. The one good thing is a blurb in SID where Michael basically asks the fans to be patient and says everyone knows that Jack and Carly will end up together. He says Jack belongs with Carly, not Janet. Janet will get her heart broken but hopes that Julie Pinson doesn't get hurt also. I like Julie as Janet too and I know a lot of people do. I worry though with this story if that may change. If they try to paint her as the victim of big bad Carly and Jack in order to get sympathy, I think it will backfire. The writing had been so good for Carly and Jack the last few weeks and now it looks like JP is returning to her standard garbage.

It really sounds like JP and CG are on totally different planes of realization than the fans, doesn't it.

They've been that way ever since they became the 2 in charge, IMO. Neither cares about the fans or the show's history or future. I've given up trying to figure out what or who they think they're gearing the show to.

Sigh. Yeah, we all know that. For me, it's another one of those situations where I wonder, 'will I even care when it finally happens?' Patience I have (I guess), but I can't promise that after a dozen more of these "almosts" and God knows what else that my interest will still be there. The harder Jack and Carly try to come up with excuses to stay apart, the less I want them to be together, honestly. This phony, altruistic line of Carly's about believing that she could never make Jack happy and Jack being so easily thrust back into the arms of another woman, as if he's on some kind of mind controlling drug, just isn't like either of them. |

There was a posting on another site that Jack and Janet also have sex this week. First,  , but I hope there isn't a multiple pregnancy storyline or a Janet's pregnant with Jack's baby and can't be with Carly storyline coming around the bend.

I sure hope that you're right, Judy!  I can't take too much more of these teases and the on again/ off again stuff, especially since carjack has such chemistry together.

 I hope it is a typo and it is Jack and Carly that make love, but I'm not sure now. Other spoilers say that Janet is a victim of a crime. If that turns out to be the case, you know Mr. Noble will stand by her for at least a while longer. What's weird is that for me, I am really upset at the thought of Janet and Carly not staying friendss. I want Carly and Jack back together; that hasn't changed. I would just like to them to figure out a way to write it that allows for no bad guys in the story, and for Carly and Janet to either stay friends, or at least rebuild their friendship at some point (maybe when Janet finds her true Mr. Right. I'm still thinkin' Dusty, myself )Oh, and this is off topic, but I gotta vent it anyway: I want Carly and Lily to be friends again. |

I'd like Carly to have at least 1 good, solid friend. I feel bad about what happened with Lily, but it's understandable that they are estranged. I loved when Emily and Carly were friends, too, way back when Hal and Emily were together. I like Carly and Janet as friends but don't think it's going to happen. |

I'd like to see Carly and Emily renew their friendship. And I could actually see Carly and Alison as friends. I know Ali is a few years younger, but Carly and Gwen were pretty close and Ali is a contemporary of Gwen. [size=7]-Kara[/size] |
