Advanced Member Posts: 29,326 Group: Members Member #2 Joined: August 31, 2008	Katie talks to Kim about Spencer, saying she doesn't think Spencer is tough enough for the business, and that she depends too much on Brad. Kim's surprised that Katie feels that way. Just then Brad and Spencer come back from a shoot, sampling Chinese food. Spencer's brought back some sesame chicken for Katie, and this makes Kim :rolleyes remembering what Katie said... So Katie wolfed down all of the sesame chicken and then gets very sick, all over, and has to go home. Gosh, and the show was going to be live today! So of course it ended up with Spencer co-hosting the show with Brad. And what was the show about, you wonder? Why, sexual attraction, of course. Janet's mourning the end of her relationship with Jack, who still won't talk to her. She's messing up orders left and right at the diner. So she calls Carly to get her advice... Before Carly can do much, though, Vienna comes up with a goofy plan involving using Henry to make Jack jealous. But when Vienna sees Henry :kissing Janet, she grabs Henry and decides that this isn't such a good plan after all... Sage is getting ready to go on an overnight school trip and tells Carly that she thinks "daddy" could come over and keep Carly company. Carly calls Jack and he's just killing time doing a crossword puzzle so she tells him to come over and say bye to Sage. He does, and then he and Carly kid around a little bit about his 'busy schedule'... Jack admits that the only thing he's doing that day is going to see Batman again. Carly ends up at the movie with Jack, and ragging him about how it's too beautiful a day to spend it in a movie theatre. They end up at the pond, and Carly is remembering being there with Holden. Jack asks her what pulled her in to Holden, and she says it's hard to explain but that when she wasn't being miserable from guilt, it was just very, very calm..... (Yeah, like ) Then Jack starts talking again about how Carly saved him from drowning. She says that they've done that and it's over, and ends up giving Jack a shove and he falls into the pond. Carly says that her lifesaving days are over... Jack follows her home. He's soaking wet, and she tells him, "you're dripping all over my floor, let's get you out of those wet clothes... they start tearing each others' clothes off, and make it upstairs to the bedroom. Before things can go any further, the doorbell rings, and Carly throws on a robe and goes to answer it. It's Janet! She's brought over apple pie, made from the apples that Carly and Jack picked, and insists that she and Carly try some of it. Carly goes upstairs and tells Jack that Janet's downstairs. Jack says that it's alright, he and Janet aren't together, so Carly says fine, then I'll go downstairs and tell her that you're up here... but before she can leave, Jack tells her not to do that... Downstairs, Janet asks Carly if she has somebody upstairs, like Jack... Carly covers, saying she had bathwater running, and Janet feels bad. Janet leaves and Jack comes downstairs and Carly is feeling horrible for lying to Janet. Jack says he'd better leave, and Carly agrees.... at the door, Jack asks Carly, "is this what we really want?" Carly murmurs, "it is now.." ... [img]http://weloveatwt.com/katie.gif[/img Liberty's at home when a sick Katie gets there and they go upstairs to Katie's bedroom. Katie wants to watch the show, so they turn on the tv and she sees Janet cohosting with Brad. Throws the pillow at the tv. Liberty is grossed out at Spencer flirting with her dad.... Katie keeps insisting that she's feeling better, but when she tries to get up, she passes out a tiny bit, like 10 seconds, so Liberty takes her to the hospital where she's admitted. Then Katie asks Liberty to go to WOAK and get the takeout container from the trash. She wants to find out if there's a possibility that Spencer did something to the food that made her sick... Lib's all for it... After the shoot, Spencer insists that Brad come to Yo's with the crew, saying that Katie's probably sleeping. So Brad goes and doesn't hear his phone when Liberty calls him to tell him that Katie's in the hospital.... Right after Brad gets the message, Liberty shows up, to play detective. Brad takes off for the hospital and Spencer is about to go with him when Kim stops her, saying that Brad and Katie can hendle it... Brad gets to the hospital and Katie tells him her suspicions about Spencer. Brad thinks Katie's on the wrong track, but says they can talk about it later... he leaves to talk to Katie's doctor. She's weak but will be released, it's probably food poisoning... Katie calls Liberty to see if she found the takeout container, but Liberty says the only thing in the trash was some papers with a little grease on them. Jack goes to the diner and melts Janet's heart, asking for pie... he says he misses her cooking, and she says she misses cooking for him. She tells him to eat slow, and he says oh, don't worry, I plan on taking my time.... Darn it, that carjack stuff just reminded me all the more what we're missing! Vienna sure doesn't have much fondness for other women, does she? :rolleyes Spencer does remind me of Katie back in the day when she was the obsessed girl at WOAK.

I guess I can't really judge yet, but what is it with these men that they can go back and forth from one woman to another and it's no big deal. Jack's doing it now and Holden went back and forth between Carly and Lily. If it were Carly doing that, everyone would be saying what a tramp she was.

Newbie Posts: 59 Group: Members Member #20 Joined: September 1, 2008	This whole storyline with Spencer poisioning Katie and getting her job to get close to Brad, hasn't this been done before? I mean Katie poisoned Molly years ago to get her anchor job. I think after 50+ years, they're repeating themselves.

I feel bad for those InTurn winners always becoming psychos! I mean, can't these people just be "passing through" for their few weeks on the show?

Newbie Posts: 9 Group: Members Member #197 Joined: October 4, 2008	Well, at least I had your recap to read today since the DVD nor outdated VCR worked. I'm glad they showed Liberty. I've been wondering where her & Parker have been lately. Heck, I'd rather watch them I think than Meg & Paul. I like Janet but for Pete's sake she is just not the type woman Jack would marry. What the hell am I saying, he married Julia (two of them) and they were both psychoes. At least Janet isn't. Carly is being so un-typical Carly but I like it because my hope is that he will try harder to get her back but after reading today's recap, heck Jack may just let it go unless, of course, there is another crisis for Carly. :rolleyes Brad has to be the stupidest man on earth! I take that back, they all are. Maybe I should say on this show anyway...whether I meant it otherwise or not. Well, let me go read some spoilers since I got tired of working with that damn contraption thing I have to tape and am pretty sure I will not see it tomorrow.

Maura West & Van Hansis fan! Posts: 170 Group: Members Member #249 Joined: October 8, 2008	The Spencer story-line is so predictable. It's also kind of upsetting in a way as well. I honestly wish the show would put more effort into their InTurn recruits as well. Nell Mooney is a great actress so far, and I want her talent to be utilized, not thrown away for yet another bland psychopath. Why do they keep teasing us? I mean, I love Janet and everything, but I've been a Carjack shipper for what seems like, well, forever. Get on with it already! They've already been split up longer then most couples on the show! If couples like Meg/Paul and Lily/Holden are allowed to reunite, then let Jack and Carly finally find their way back to each other. No more leading viewers on, preferably! Overall grade for this episode would be a C+.

That would be a better twist if she is made to look like she is bad when it really isn't her fault. I don't know that the writer's can write anything that is not blatantly obvious though, so I won't hold my breath! :rolleyes
