Even though Paul's bought two little anatomically correct dolls, a boy and a girl, as gifts for Meg, she isn't ready to forget about his latest bad decision. She tells him that he can start their marriage back on track by going to Dusty and apologizing to him. Paul thinks she's nuts, but agrees, and heads off to The Lakeview. ![]() At that same moment, Dusty's asking Emily to go talk to Meg and find out how she's doing, and to tell her that if she ever needs something, she can call Emily and Emily will pass the message along to Dusty. Emily thinks DUSTY is nuts, but eventually agrees, and takes off for Fairwinds.... ![]() Casey and Alison are at the diner, Casey's eating what amounts to breakfast for 3 people, which he says he does when he's depressed. Kim shows up and she and Ali go outside to talk in private. Kim tells Ali that Chris is going back to Africa indefinitely, and begs her to talk to Chris and see if he'll change his mind. Ali says she'll see what she can do....Chris is checking out of The Lakeview and stops to tell Aaron that he didn't get what he wanted, as Aaron thinks. He tells Aaron he should forgive Ali, and Aaron says he DID forgive her, but she still didn't want them to be together. You can see that this gives Chris a tiny bit of "what if hope..." ![]() Ali calls Chris and they meet in the locker room at Memorial. Chris says, "There's nothing to keep me here...or is there?" Ali straightens Chris out on why she's ending her marriage. It's not because of him, she says, it's because she didn't want to keep hurting Aaron. She says she shouldn't be with anybody right now. Chris's hopes are dashed, but Ali says that maybe someday.... ![]() Casey sees Emily in the Lakeview lobby and lets jealousy take over. He asks Emily if Dusty knows she can't have children.... Emily says that she and Casey aren't going to have this conversation. ![]() Dr Bob's making a housecall at Fairwinds and warns Meg that her bp is up and her heart is racing. He says he knows it's from the stress that Paul's putting her under and says he really thinks that Paul should be hospitalized again. Meg refuses, and Bob tells her to be very, very careful with her health... When Paul arrives to apologize to Dusty, Dusty just laughs at him and wonders if he's one of the psyche ward frequent fliers. Things go downhill fast, and Paul ends up losing his temper and rushing off...In the lobby, he runs into Emily, who's changed her mind about going and talking to Meg. They decide they both need a drink... Emily doesn't waste any time telling Paul that Dusty asked her to "do his dirty work" with Meg. Of course, Emily is trying to make herself look like a good person, not an instigator... Emily just keeps feeding and feeding Paul's insecurities about Meg and Dusty.... Paul suggests that maybe he and Emily can help each other get what they each want. ![]() Emily reminds him that the last time they teamed up together, it was a disaster. Paul says that things will be different this time - just keep him in the loop and everybody will be happy... they drink to that, but Emily mutters, "god help us". ![]() ![]() The Lakeview's a busy place today. :rolleyes Now Ali's there scolding Aaron for telling Chris that Chris was the reason their marriage ended. Aaron says well, isn't it? And Ali says no, it's about me and why I was doing the things I was doing.... as she leaves, she runs into Casey. He tells her that she looks like crap, and she tells him that Chris is still leaving, and that she and Aaron just had words. Ali and Casey decide to blow off class and go do something irresponsible and immature. ![]() Kim and Bob are talking about Chris leaving, and Kim is still hopeful that Ali will get him to change his mind, but Bob says it's not going to turn out that way. Kim says she has such a feeling of foreboding about Chris going to Africa, but Bob says that Chris is a grown man and has to make and live with his own decisions. ![]() Chris comes to say good-bye, and Bob and Kim tell him to remember that they'll support him no matter what he decides to do, but Bob says that he really would like Chris to be Chief of Staff at Memorial someday. Kim warns Chris to be careful. Bob raises Kim's spirits by saying that they can all meet in Paris when Chris gets a break. Chris takes a picture of his parents laughing and says that's how he wants to remember them. Bob tells Chris he loves him, and so does Kim, and everybody hugs, and it's buh bye Chris... ![]() ![]() At the same time, Alison and Casey are busy skateboarding at the Old Town Mall. Alison has not done that before, and is nervous, while Casey does his best chicken imitation... Emily goes back up to Dusty's suite and he asks her how it went with Meg. She says nothing at all to worry about. ![]() Paul gets back to Fairwinds and tells Meg that things went a lot better than he'd expected. :rolleyes Meg is surprised, but Paul says he's got everything under control. ![]() Remember awhile back when we said that whoever Emily made a plan with, or Paul made a plan with, it was destined to fail? Well, here we go again. ![]() In the previews, any idea what that one was about where somebody came up behind Janet and put their hand over her mouth and dragged her away?

I see I didn't miss much today. I would say it's about a cheap plot device to make Jack feel guilty and not break up with Janet. |

I couldn't help but wonder if Kim's feelings of something awful happening to Chris are going to come about. Things like that usually aren't addressed without a reason. |

Unfortunately, I agree. I just can't stand that Emily. I really can't wait until this comes back to bite her.

I certainly hope not! As much as I like Aaron and Alison [as characters, but not as a couple], I don't understand why the show got rid of Chris Hughes when they seemed to be leaning towards Alison & Chris as their end-game. I guess I'll never know. I don't want to see Bob and Kim's boy killed off, but I agree that they were foreshadowing something in the future. I'm wondering where Aaron will head, now that Alison has made it pretty clear she's not interested in him or Chris for the time being? Is Dani still on the show? |

I would much rather that they got rid of Aaron and kept Chris in Oakdale. His character has much more potential, seeing that he's not only from a core family, but also he's a doctor, so he has the potential to be involved in multiple storylines. I really hope that they're not foreshadowing something with Chris here. |

Why do I get the feeling that Chris is about to walk into the Temple of Doom rather than just moving to another country?? Casey/Ali-- big way If Paul is responsible for Meg losing another baby, I'm done with Peg. Done. Two guesses what Jack will do when he learns about 'whatever' has happened to Janet..? :rolleyes The whiplash is settin' in.
