Carly goes into Al's to get supper for herself and Parker. Janet starts in again on how stupid it was for her to think that Jack was hidden in Carly's bedroom. Carly let Janet talk, and still didn't tell her the truth. Then Jack walked in, and he and Carly had a couple moments of longing looks before Carly left the diner.  Next Janet sat down with Jack and started telling him a "funny story", which of course was the story of how Janet thought Jack was up in Carly's bedroom. Jack told Janet the truth, and tried to explain what happened, and what DIDN'T happen.  Janet is hurt, understandably, and even though Jack wants to get together after Janet gets off work, Janet turns him down.Katie's at home trying to get Brad to believe her theory that Spencer tried to poison her, but Brad isn't buying into it. Spencer shows up at the door with flowers and candy, and when Brad insists on opening the door, Katie hides behind the couch until Brad gets rid of Spencer. Brad's got to go to WOAK to get things set up for tomorrow, and just as he's leaving, Henry shows up. He'll stay with Katie. Once Brad's gone, Katie tells Henry what she suspects about Spencer. Henry says he knows why she'd think that, it's just what he and Katie did to Molly.  Katie gets Henry to take her to WOAK so she can keep looking for the Chinese food. Henry drops her off, and Spencer catches her going through trash. Katie says she lost her pen, and Brad walks up and changes the subject. Later, Spencer tells Brad that she's getting weird vibes from Katie. :rolleyes Henry tells Vienna about Katie's suspicions, and this launches Vienna into "let's have an adventure mode". Vienna calls Janet and asks her if she'll take care of the deposit from the diner, because she feels like having an adventure. She and Henry go to the Lakeview and use a credit card to get into Spencer's room.  They start searching the room, and Vienna finds a locked suitcase under the bed. Before they can open it, though, they hear Spencer out in the hallway. When Spencer walks in, Vienna and Henry are on the bed making out. They're sooooo embarassed, they're soooo sorry, they're in the wrong room. Parker finds Jack's watch on the nightstand by Carly's bed and he and Carly have a nice talk, where Carly tells him that no, she and Jack aren't together, but that sometimes they forget they aren't.  Parker goes out for a walk... to the farm. There he tells Jack about finding the watch, and asks Jack what in the heck he's doing. Jack says he doesn't know, and Parker says well, maybe you shouldn't do ANYTHING until you do know...  Janet's gone over to Carly's and told her she knows what really happened, because Jack told her. Carly says that she really wanted Jack to be with Janet, and they had some good conversation, that ended with Janet saying that if she did end up with Jack, it would be on her terms, and Carly should mind her own business.  Carly goes out to the farm and sees Jack hugging Parker. Parker takes his bike home, and Carly and Jack have another moment, where they both admit they realize what they're missing, and go into a hug. Carly says, "what are we doing? we should stop before somebody gets hurt!" They talk about the possibility of them getting back together. Carly says that if they do, they have to make it work, and neither of them can be sure of that. Jack says that since neither one of them can get up on the soapbox and say that this is the right thing to do, then maybe it isn't. Sadly, Carly walks away....Janet's sitting on a bench at the Old Town Mall, when she remembers the money from the diner that she's supposed to deposit at the bank. Just then, somebody comes up behind Janet and drags her off... The guy slugs her and runs off with the money and her rings. Brad and Katie are making out at home when there's a knock at the door. Yes, it's Spencer, crying about somebody breaking into her room again! Before Katie can get too riled up, Spencer says, "they're YOUR friends!" Then Katie and Brad realize that it was Henry and Vienna, and they both tell Spencer that they didn't send them, that Vienna and Henry are just kind of 'different'... Spencer calms down and they decide to all have lunch together the next day. :rolleyes I'd just like to have Carly and Jack be a dating couple, not commit to getting married again or anything, but why can't they just date, sure, have sex, and see how things go? Their kids are old enough to deal with that, IMO. So it was just a mugger who mugged Janet. I have to admit that I thought maybe it was Jack, doing it playfully to spirit her off for a romantic night, but of course I was waaaayyyyy wrong. The Molly/Henry/Katie reference was great! Janet's talk with Carly really made sense. It was great seeing Parker again.  |

Spoilerish: * * * * * * * In the previews for tomorrow, did anyone hear what Jack says to Janet? I thought I heard him say "If you don't marry me now I'm going to jail." Is that possible? And if it is, here we go again...... |

I really want them to get Carjack back together! Out of most of the couples on the show, they have some of the best chemistry, I'm dumb-founded why the show insists on keeping them apart. I wish they could just date and take it easy too. That said, I like Janet, and I think there are other guys out there on the show for her... like Aaron or something.
