Paul tells Emily that he's going to "take care of" Dusty, now that Paul knows Dusty owns controlling interest in WW. Emily tries to talk him into taking Meg and moving but you know how successful that was. :rolleyes

Holden stops in to see Meg and she tells him about Paul selling his shares in WW. Holden's still worried that Paul's not stable, but Meg insists that Paul has made a lot of progress and knows that if he doesn't stay on the straight and narrow, Meg will leave him. :rolleyes

Lily stops in at WW to drop off some paperwork and finds Dusty at "Lucinda's" desk. When she learns that he bought Paul's shares in the company, she goes into this long diatribe about how much Dusty made her suffer, how he tore apart her family, yada yada....Dusty isn't letting the princess get away with her pity party, and says that his staying in Oakdale has nothing to do with her, and they need to let the past be the past... Lil flounces out and goes home and tells Holden about mean old Dusty. So now Holden goes to WW and tries to lay down the law or something, to Dusty. Dusty asks Holden what he thinks hurt Lily more: Dusty faking his death or Holden humiliating her with Carly in front of everybody Lily cares about... :hmm

Derek's back in town and stops in at Metro to see if he and Bonnie have any kind of a future. He tells her that he met James in prison, and that James knew things about him that nobody else did, and used that to get him to do what James wanted. He says he knows that Bonnie deserves better than him. Bonnie agrees and tells him buh bye. :smack

Derek's in the mall at Old Town and what do ya know, there's Paul. Paul just immediately stops and tells Derek that he wants to hire him to do something. Derek tries to turn down Paul, but Paul plays a James and tells Derek that he just might have to press charges against Derek after all. :rolleyes Paul wants Derek to plant drugs on Dusty, set him up. Derek says fine, reluctantly, and takes the wad of cash that Paul hands him...

Emily's been listening in (very obviously :smack ) and now comes up to Paul saying she heard everything and is going to tell Dusty. Paul comes up with all these reasons why Emily shouldn't do that, but she's not listening and Paul is yelling louder and louder when Dusty walks up and tells Paul not to talk to Emily that way. So Paul tells Emily to go ahead and tell Dusty the truth, but instead of that, she says that Paul's angry that she told him he needs treatment. :rolleyes

Derek goes to Fairwinds and after Meg calms down at the sight of him, he tells Meg about Paul's offer... Meg is devastated, but thanks him for coming. Derek hands her the money Paul gave him, and leaves, saying he really hopes everything works out...

Paul comes home, and Meg shows him the money that Derek gave her, and asks him if he thinks she's stupid. Paul looks pouty... :shutup Now Paul and Meg are yelling at each other, and Paul eventually tells Meg that Dusty is the one who bought out his shares of WW... Meg's surprised, but lets that go and tells Paul that he's acting just like his father. She tells Paul she should have listened to Bob and kept Paul in the hospital, he needs more help. Paul thinks that love can fix this, but Meg says she can't help him anymore, and walks out of the room. Now Paul pouts angrily. :shutup

Lily and Holden are having another boring talk about how hard it is working on their relationship and how they've got to change the way they're going about it.... :sleeping :sleeping :sleeping Holden says he's got to change the fact that he's jealous of Dusty, and Lily says she's got to get over being jealous of Carly. They both agree that they can do this... :hmm

Derek goes back to Metro and tells Bonnie that today he had a choice to make, between doing the wrong thing, or doing the right thing, and he did the right thing, and it feels good. He asks Bonnie if he can have a second chance with her, and she says yes. :heart :2thumbs

Meg is heading out the door, leaving Paul. She can't live like this anymore, and she's not going to lose another baby. :cry Paul is crying and yelling and promising to change and promising to do whatever it takes to keep Meg, but in the end, her cab arrives and she leaves...

Alone, Paul is visited again by James..... :cuss James again ridicules Paul and says that if something gets in his way, he has to get rid of it. Paul, steelyeyed, tells an incredulous James, "You're right!" :hmm

I couldn't help it, I liked the scene between Paul and Meg when she actually walked out on him. Paul seemed genuinely devastated. But then James showed up... :hmm

Poor Dusty. Even Grayson's charisma couldn't overcome the triple blows of Lily, Holden and Emily today. :cry :cuss

Derek was my favorite part of the show today. I was so glad to see him, and that he did the right thing where Paul and Meg were concerned. :clap

Lily and Holden... FTLOG!

I swear, Paul and Meg's "storyline" goes in a continuous circle. Paul does something horrible, usually out of jealousy of some guy in close proximity to Meg, Meg is "hurt" and walks out on him. Eventually the two are reunited when Paul "proves" himself, only for history to repeat itself... ugh! :pullhair

I love Derek! He's a great character and he made the right decision today. He and Bonnie have a lot of chemistry. I hope we see a lot more of them... especially Bonnie seeing they have a talented actress on their hands and they never use her!

Lily and Holden couldn't be anymore boring! :down

Overall, this episode gets: :star :star :star

Good start to a Monday.

I finally got the dang VCR/DVD player to tape today, thanks to my Mother's husband coming over last night and spending a great deal of time with it, and I thought today's show was just plain boring. :sleeping :sleeping :sleeping

I do like Derek and am glad he went to Meg and came clean with Bonnie but that was pretty much all I even slightly liked. :rolleyes I am sick to death of James from the dead being in Paul's brain telling him what to do. So :lame Just let James be alive and torture him in person...much better.

Okay, so I've been AWOL for a while but I have been watching the show. Just keeping my opinions to myself for a change. As mom always said if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all! So, here's my nice...Glad Derek is back and has a chance to be redeemed. We need some fresh faces that don't turn out psycho.

Lily and Holden need to take a vacation away from it all and off screen to work out their marriage. I simply don't care about them any more. My eyes start drooping as soon as they come on screen :sleeping

I love Dusty, always have, but please, I'm begging whomever has control :pray CUT THAT HAIR!!!!!!

Maybe as one of Paul's methods of torturing Dusty, he can get some thugs to tie him down and cut his hair. :lol :lol :lol I'm okay with the hair, but it kind of does seem to me that Dusty might be getting a trim before too long. :hmm

But skin-head Dusty always has to run around being a pretend gangster. I can take Dusty more seriously with hair! :rofl
