I expected ONE THING and ofcourse JP gives her tainted version of things.

When LUKE decided to run for PRESIDENT against KEVIN....I pictured ONE THING and I doubt I will even get a close storyline to what I was hoping for.

As much angst that truly exists in some factions of the population ESPECIALLY in the MIDWEST non-SUPER LARGE-METRO areas...where the bigger colleges are located....I was hoping for more homophobia being addressed in a political type setting....and hopefully with little violence.

INSTEAD we have ATTEMPTED RAPE.

ALCOHOLISM via CASEY.

A more level-headed KEVIN.

A LONELY SNYDER.

And a JEALOUS NOAH (jealous over WHAT??).

I enjoyed what tptb gave us....but not as much if I HAD WRITTEN some of the fluff.

My guess things will be over before we blink about 100 more times.

I personally am not surprised with this story-line. JP has a habit of taking a story-line that initially shows a lot of potential- and then transforming it into a storyline that offends viewers and makes them want to turn off the television.

Honestly, does she think that viewers find Alison getting thrown against a wall, harassed, and forced to take off her clothes entertaining television? It's not suspensful. It's disgusting! I don't ever enjoy watching a group of men threaten to rape someone- and I know that most viewers don't either. I can tell from reactions posted across various message boards viewers are NOT happy with the direction this storyline is taking. Good job JP! :eek

Minus the Ali stuff, it has been a great character-driven storyline. I hope there will be no more violence or over the top stuff like that.

I don't mind a little lying and cheating but kidnapping, potential rape and violence are not what I want to see.
