Dusty's still in Ohio and brings Josey some flowers and talks with her for awhile. He's told the nurse that he's Josey's husband, so when he's ready to leave, a doctor grabs him and says that Josey is getting discharged, and since she doesn't have insurance, well, here's the bill. Of course Dusty takes it, and then tells Josey he'll take her home. She's been staying at a cheap hotel and plans to go to a shelter, but Dusty says they'll stop and pick up her things, and then she'll be going home with him. Josey gasps and says, "I don't even know you!" and Dusty comes back with, "You don't know anybody!" ![]() Back in Oakdale, Emily and Paul accidentally meet at the grave of their stillborn daughter, Jennifer. They talk about how much they wish she'd have lived. Paul talks about how much he wants to raise a family with Meg, and asks Emily if she'll tell Meg that she saw Paul and that he's really trying hard to change. Emily says no way. ![]() Emma and Meg are in the kitchen talking and looking at baby things that Emma found in the attic. Emma just can't believe that Paul's really going to change. Meg insists that he is, and then decides to go shopping. She runs into Emily, and tells her that she remembers that it was 2 years ago today that little Jennifer was born and died. The two women talk and commiserate about losing a child, and Emily ends up telling Meg about seeing Paul at the grave, mourning. This makes Meg hopeful about her future with Paul. ![]() Meg goes back to the farm, and Paul calls to make sure she got there okay. Even that doesn't convince Emma that Paul's really trying to get stable... ![]() Katie's sitting around the house doing nothing, but when Brad asks her if she's going to go get groceries, she says she's too busy. She does go out, shopping, but not for groceries, and overhears Spencer telling the salesperson at Fashions that she wants some sexy, go for it underwear, in red or black. She says that she's got a chance to get up close and personal with a guy in Chicago. Naturally when Katie goes home, Brad's packing and says he's going to Chicago with Spencer. Katie tells him what she overheard Spencer saying, and begs him not to go to Chicago. Brad won't listen and tells her that she's got nothing to worry about....Next time we see Brad, he's in a hotel room with Spencer. They have 2 rooms, but one isn't ready, so Spencer pulls out a bottle of champagne, and then goes into the bathroom. When she comes out, she's wearing one of her new underwear outfits, blue and black, conplete with garters. She starts trying to seduce Brad, saying that she knows he feels the same way about her as she does about him, but Brad is totally faithrul to Katie and tells Spencer that in no uncertain terms. Luckily, the phone rings, and Brad and Spencer are supposed to get down to where they're going to be shooting... Spencer still wants them to make love, but Brad refuses. He says that she needs to put on her clothes and get down to work and they'll forget about what just happened. Spencer says, and if I don't? Brad says he'll leave, but Spencer says no way will he miss his chance to get national attention. Brad's answer, "watch me!" ![]() Katie's at WOAK talking to Kim. Kim says that the real reason she had Oakdale Now go on hiatus was to give Brad and Katie a chance to work on their marriage. Katie says that won't happen until Spencer's gone. Katie does pick up some groceries and goes home. She's just arrived when Brad bursts through the door and tells her that she was right about what she said about Spencer. Spencer was out of control! Brad starts giving Katie a blow by blow account of what happened at the hotel with Spencer. He tells Katie that all he could think about was coming home to her... They start to make love, but Katie tells Brad that first, he needs to call Kim and tell her what happened. But before Brad can call Kim, Spencer walks into WOAK and starts crying to Kim about what happened in Chicago.... of course, Spencer isn't telling what really happened. According to her, Brad told her he wouldn't work with her unless they had sex, so Spencer left, and now she's asking Kim go please do something about Brad. ![]() Meg goes to little Jennifer's grave and Paul's still there. She tells him that Emily told him where Paul is. Paul talks about missing his daughter and how much he wants to be a family with Meg and their baby, but that if he doesn't make progress with his therapy, he doesn't want to be around. Meg says it's hard to think of her life without Paul in it, and they smile at each other hopefully. Dusty and Josey arrive at The Lakeview and Dusty tells the desk clerk that Josey will be staying there indefinitely, and wants a room for her preferrably on Dusty's floor. Josey says that if possible she'd like a room with a view. Josey is really, really impressed with the room, plus the fact that Dusty has a lot of phone numbers and a private jet, and that he paid her hospital room. Josey wonders how she'll ever pay him back, and Dusty says she won't have to, because he knows that she'd do the same thing for him if things were reversed. She asks him if he would move into a hotel room that was paid for by somebody he didn't even know. Dusty says no, and they kind of laugh, and he asks her if they made a mistake. She says that if they did, it's a real big one. ![]() The show worked okay for me today, except I really hated how they used dead little Jennifer like they did. And honestly, it's not as if Paul and Emily were a happy couple awaiting the birth of their child, and it just seemed kind of contrived that they'd be meeting at the grave like they did, but oh well, I guess, plot driving at it's most obvious. ![]() Kim was kind of funny as she was hanging on to Spencer's every word about what happened in Chicago, and even encouraging her to talk faster. :hum Honestly, too, I am real tired of these false accusations of a sexual nature. But I did have to at how inept Spencer was, and how brazen, with her seduction attempts.

The Brad/Katie storyline is such a rehash of the Paul/Meg storyline , this is ridiculous. Instead of Meg/Paul/Sophie/Mike, this time around it's going to be Brad/Katie/Spencer/Kim... where is the origininality on behalf of this show's writers? Man, they are making the character of Josie very interesting. She looks so much like Jennifer, but still has her own "look." I'm really interested in where this storyline is going to be going... |

I lost cable for the 2nd half of the show so can only comment on the bits that I saw. First - I thought Brad's jaw dropping reaction to Spencer in her lingerie was pretty funny. Second - I like Paul better when he's not an insecure, raving idiot. The talk between Meg and Emily was nice. I missed Friday's episode so I'm completely clueless about Josey. She seems awfully trusting of Dusty but she doesn't have many options either. He still needs a hair cut. I'd love to see Barbara's reaction to Josey...! |

Josie really has me intrigured, too. TPTB have been pretty tight lipped in regards to where that storyline's headed. The rest of the show was FF material for me.

Not a sweeps worthy show today IMO. Too bad they decided to waste another Inturn winner on such a bad story. |

I too am intrigued by Josie. I have a feeling there is definitely more to her than what we have seen so far From what we have seen of the actress, I'm liking her so far.The whole Katie/Brad/Spencer story I did like the Paul/Emily conversation. It was nice to see them talking calmly for one. Definitely not a memorable show. I am glad that Josie is now in Oakdale and I do believe this will bring Barbara out of the woodwork

Is this the actress who played Jolene, the "movie-Reva" on GL? I think I read somewhere that she was getting a job on another soap. -Kara |
