Brad thinks that Spencer's faking it, until he walks closer to the bed and unwinds the scarf around her neck and sees the bruises. Then he puts his fingers on her neck, and realizes there's no pulse. He calls Katie, who of course is with Margo. Katie's apparently talked to the bartender who said he heard Brad talking on the phone and heard the word "Spencer". (or maybe Henry talked to the bartender, Henry's name was mentioned, but I didn't get exactly what he had to do with anything. ) Brad tells Katie to come to the Lakeview, and not to tell Margo. Katie makes up some kind of story to Margo and leaves, Margo, astute detective that she is, knows something's going on, and follows Katie... ![]() When Katie gets to Spencer's room, and sees Spencer, she starts to scream, but Brad stops her and insists that he didn't do "this". As they're standing looking at Spencer's body, the door to the room opens and there's Margo, with her big, black gun pointed right at Katie and Brad. Puhlease.... She checks out Spencer, and tells Katie and Brad not to say a word, then calls the police station to report a possible homicide. The person who answers the phone is Dani and Dani is also the one who comes to the scene and collects evidence. Dani is sure not lacking in attitude. ![]() Lily sees Lucinda at the hospital and asks a nurse why Lucinda's there, but the nurse says she can't tell Lily that. Now, this has got to be the first time ever that patient confidentiality has been respected at Memorial. So Lily waits around for Lucinda and asks her what's going on, and Lucinda just turns right around and walks away from Lily. ![]() Brian's been worried about Lucinda and their "relationship" and is happy when she comes into the office. But, right on her heels is Lily. Lucinda goes into her tough as nails act, which really pisses off Lily, who leaves in a huff. Brian says that now he knows for sure something serious is wrong, when Lucinda treats Lily like that. He demands that Lucinda tell him what's going on. Is he just a bad kisser, or is it something else? ![]() Liberty comes to talk to Parker and tells him she believes he's the one who got Sage to set up her mom. Carly's listening in, and when Liberty leaves, she confronts Parker, who cops his usual attitude, but Carly isn't letting him off the hook... ![]() Janet comes to work to find a big bouquet of lavender roses, her favorite. They're from Jack, who shows up and apologizes for believing she'd meet with her ex and leave Sage alone... he tells Janet about Sage being behind the whole thing, and that Sage also is the one who took Janet's ring. Janet is sad to hear that Sage dislikes her that much, but when Jack tells her that Carly suggested postponing the wedding for the kids' sake, Janet's sadness turns to anger. ![]() Jack goes to work and Janet leaves the diner, headed straight for Carly's. She gets there just as Parker is storming out of the door... Carly starts to tell Janet that she knows what really happened last night, and Janet says that Jack already told her about it, and also that they're back on track... Carly can't help but show that she's disappointed. Janet jumps right in and says that the kids are only following Carly's lead, and that the whole deal with Carly pushing Janet at Jack was just so Carly would find out that the only one that Jack really loves and wants is Carly. Carly protests and says she walked away from Jack. At that point, Janet looks Carly in the eye and snarls, "Well, walk away, bitch! For good, this time!" Janet leaves and Carly stands there looking after Janet. Then Carly heads out to talk to Jack... ![]() Meanwhile, Parker finds Liberty studying at Al's and admits that he did put Sage up to what she did, but that he didn't do it to hurt Janet, he did it because he can't take being a step-brother to Liberty. Liberty tells him to get lost. ![]() Before Carly can find Jack, she runs into Lily and admits that she's got a lot on her mind. Lily tells Carly they need to go have a few drinks, and so they do, and have a girl to girl talk. Carly talking about herself and Jack and Janet, and Lily about her relationship with Linda. Despite some straightforward talking, the gals still manage to keep things friendly. On the other hand, Lily makes it clear to Carly that even with the coffee and the drinks, they still aren't bossom buddies. ![]() Lucinda opens up to Brian, saying that she's a cancer survivor, or was, but that now the cancer's recurred. She is honest with Brian, saying she isn't positive that she can beat the beast this time. She explains that she was short with Lily because she was trying to spare Lily the pain of saying good-bye. Brian pulls Lucinda to face him and says that he isn't going to let her give up, he will be right there with her. Lucinda says, oh, through the falling out hair, and everything else? Brian says he doesn't care, and Lucinda says, oh, well, what about me, did it ever occur to you that I might? ![]() The legal system in Oakdale was in overdrive today. Dani already has the evidence from the security cameras at The Lakeview, showing what time Brad arrived, and headed to the elevator. She also had the time of death, and the fact that the only fingerprings in Spencer's room belonged to Spencer and Brad. Jack's there, talking to Katie, who's starting to lose it, and Janet walks in, saying she's got to talk to Jack about Carly. This kind of pushes Katie over the edge and Janet asks what's wrong... just then Brad walks out of the interrogation room and asks if he can leave now. Margo says she's sorry, but no, she's arresting him for the murder of Spencer. Margo reads Brad his rights and Katie asks for 5 minutes with Brad, and Janet tells Jack that he can't let this happen. ![]() In the interrogation room, Brad insists to Katie that he's being set up, he's innocent and begs her to believe in him. Without her he has nothing. Katie tells him she does believe him. Margo comes to get Brad, and after a final emotional kiss, Brad is taken away... Katie breaks down in tears and Janet puts her arms around her... Margo tells Jack that things look bad for Brad.... Brian tells Lucinda that he'll be right with her every step of the way, even reading her boring magazines, and that it's not because he feels sorry for her, it's because he likes her, a lot. He knows that she has a problem trusting people, but he's going to prove that wrong. And furthermore, he's going to go with her to every doctor's appointment from now on. Whenever Lucinda tries to argue with Brian, he tells her, gently but firmly, to shut up. ![]() Well, honestly, I really Brian and Lucinda today. I just hated seeing Lucinda going through the same routine with Lily as the last time she had cancer. ![]() It's been so long since the halloween set up of Janet that I really forgot, when Jack asked Janet to forgive him, what in the world she was supposed to forgive him for. ![]() Margo and her gun were just too over the top for words. ![]() Although I Carly, and want her and Jack back together, I did enjoy hearing Janet call her a bitch today. ![]() The Parker/Liberty stuff... :sleep Lily and Carly trying to mend fences was good stuff.

Can't stand Margo and don't care that Spencer is dead. Ugh. The Lily and Carly scenes are just unreal. Lily should hate her guts for a LONG time. Forgiving Holden is bad enough but her best friend's betrayal is not something she would just get over this fast. It's the equivalent of Margo and Tom accepting Emily and Casey. Years worth of good story just tossed aside. Loved Janet today. |

I can't believe we have 2 more days this week of this Katie/Brad/Spencer/Margo nightmare What's worth is knowing we have about 2 more months of this story! I really enjoyed Lucinda and Brian Janet is starting to show her true colors and they aren't very nice. She's obviously very insecure with her relationship with Jack or she wouldn't be in such a rush for the wedding. She knows he doesn't really love her. And she's more concerned about Sage being her flower girl than Jack having a good relationship with his daughter Janet was totally out of line with Carly. She accused Carly of getting the kids to do this when the only reason Jack knows any of it was a setup was because Carly figured it out and told Jack. If it wasn't for Carly, Jack would still be mad at Janet. And since Jack turned Carly down in that hotel room, she hasn't made any moves or done any scheming and has actually being trying to get the kids to be happy for him. If anyone deserved to be called a b!tch today it was Janet! And I somehow doubt little miss tattletale Janet was going to be honest with Jack about what happened with Carly. She's just going to wind up destroying this relationship herself.Liberty is a brat. She needs to just be honest with Parker and should have been from the start. |

The forensics was at lightspeed today, oh jeeeeez. Margo - un-freakin'-believable. I don't know what to think of with Lily and Carly. For one thing, they both obviously need a friend in town. Second, they do care about each other but there's still so much hurt and distrust that it ought to take time to become friends again. Anyway, I was OK about them hanging out. I'm tired of the plot forced hatred anyway... I missed the past few months of Parker & Liberty so I'm at a loss about what's going on with them... I really liked Lucinda and Brian today Brad/Katie/Spencer... this is a re-do of some old stories and I cannot believe that this is the best the show can come up with. I have decided that I don't like Janet. There's just something about her (the character) that bugs the crap out of me. Can't put my finger on it, though. |

Yep. I've re-thought my "liking Janet" status.. That's over. Many a time Carly has deserved to be chided and called a bitch, but this was not one of them. The fact that Jack's kids are reluctant to accept his engagement is no fault of Carly's. She's done nothing to outwardly discourage the kids from supporting Jack & Janet. At every turn she's been pleasant with Janet in front of the children and asked them to give Janet a chance. But they AREN'T having it. So lets go right ahead with the wedding anyway? I don't think so. Suggesting postponing it was not out of line at all. Instead of worrying about Carly trying to put the wedding on hold, maybe Janet ought to be asking herself why Jack was more than willing to go along with that idea! Liberty is really being a little diva with Parker. He needs to tell her to get lost and find someone on her own maturity level, which is WAY less than Parker's!! So Jack thinks that Brad could be capable of murder?? WTF?!

Spencer....what a waste of a character. Never liked her....never understood that she thought she was ALL THAT and could so easily steal BRAD away from KATIE. I am glad that she is gone, BUT gone and leaving us with 2 MONTHS of this crap??? I liked KATIE the most yesterday. JANET...it is one thing to fall in love and then JACK to be TOO QUICK with pulling out the RING for another future failed engagement/marriage....but what has turned me off the most concerning JANET...is how she thought she could just weasel into the CarJACK family and make promises with THEIR KIDS. And the manner that JANET attempted this FORCED ADOPTION....too much....too fast....and JANET is creating her OWN PROBLEMS with SAGE and PARKER. PARKER seems like he has returned to STALKER MODE. He needs to lash out and find something else to keep him busy. LIBERTY turned so fast into a b*tch....so much like her future step-mother...that the few moments that I have appreciated her being around....I just wish that she ran off with Kevin's campaign assistant. MARGO....if she came into the bedroom THEN allowed her sister and bro-in-law that there were no bullets in the gun when she was pointing the gun at them...then THAT would make some sense. LILY and CARLY....talk about HIGH ACID CONTENT in their meeting at the Lakeview. I do not see the two as BFF yet...but it was understandable that the two had NO ONE ELSE to talk to about their ISSUES and they seemed to be the best two people to gravitate toward each other at the moment. |

Now why in the world would Margo enter the room with a gun pointed and that gun have no bullets? Of course, I guess I shouldn't as it IS Margo we're talking about here.
