Advanced Member Posts: 29,326 Group: Members Member #2 Joined: August 31, 2008	Dusty wants to help Josey get her memory back, and at first she seems reluctant to see any doctors in Oakdale, but later she admits she really does want to remember. She still wonders why Dusty has decided to "adopt" her, and he says it's because, while he knows she isn't his wife, he does think there's some kind of connection, and he wants to know what it is. Paul's at the hospital after another session with Dr Michaels. Bob tells him that he's glad Paul's getting help and to let him know if there's anything he can do. Of course, Emily is lurking around the corner, as usual. She comes up to Paul and tells him that he's really good at faking stuff... He tells her that he's not faking, he really is getting therapy. Emily finds that hard to believe. When Dusty and Josey go downstairs for breakfast, Emily sees them, and of course does a double take. Dusty tells Emily who Josey is. Emily says she believes that Josey is out to scam Dusty, because he's got all the Stenbeck money, and she says that Dusty's hero to the rescue complex is in full bloom, and because she, Emily, isn't a little victim now, Dusty's lost interest in her. Later, Emily doesn't waste anytime in tracking Paul down at Fairwinds. She suspects him of hiring a Jennifer lookalike and telling the psychic to steer Dusty toward the lookalike. Paul adamantly denies doing that, and Emily is really confused... Brad calls Henry from prison and tells him he's been accused of murdering Spencer. He asks Henry to help take care of Katie. Henry says of course he will. Katie's leaving the house when Liberty walks in, looking for Brad. Katie manages to get out of the house without telling her about Brad's arrest, but Liberty finds the lunch for Jack that Janet's made and forgotten, and leaves for the police station to take it to Jack. When she gets there, she sees Brad in handcuffs and learns what's happening. She's heartbroken, but tells Brad that of course she knows he didn't do this. She goes to Al's where Parker finds her and gives her a shoulder to cry on. Parker, of course, is his usual negative self, telling Liberty that she shouldn't suspect any breaks from Margo, she locked up her own son, and Parker, too. Parker says he'll talk to her dad to see what he can do. Liberty hugs Parker and tells him that he's still her very best friend. Henry and Katie decide that the best thing they can do is find out who really killed Spencer. They remembr the guy who was supposedly Spencer's brother, and go to Spencer's room to search for anything that might help them find the killer. Dani walks in on them (boy that girl's everywhere, isn't she? ) and asks them WTH they're doing. Katie says that Henry used to be a private detective and that he might be able to help Brad. Dani says, "I used to be an astronaut, then I grew up! ) Dani says that Margo is the only one who could let Henry help out on the case, so they all go down to the station, where Margo blows her stack and sends Henry into the interrogation room to be searched for anything he might have taken from Spencer's room. Dusty quickly gets Josey in to be seen by Dr Bob, who finds nothing physical wrong with her, but wants to run a cat scan and an mri. He also tells her to be alert to anything that might trigger a memory... Later at the Lakeview, she tells Dusty that she can't stay and be a burden to him.... Paul and Emily have been searching online for anything about Josey, and turn up not a thing. Emily says that in itself is cause for suspicion. Paul decides that he should really seriously get involved in this Josey stuff, because he doesn't want Barbara to be hurt if somehow she gets drawn into it. Kim and Bob are having coffee and Kim's been brought up to speed on Brad. She tells Bob about Brad being charged, and about Katie almost getting arrested for breaking into Spencer's room. She can't believe it! She also tells Bob that of all the phone numbers Spencer listed as contacts, none of them are working phones. She and Bob both think that's very odd. Now Bob tells Kim about Dusty bringing Josey into Memorial, and that he's worried about Dusty, because he thinks there's some connection with her and Jennifer... Since Josey's decided to leave Oakdale and go back to Sandusky, Dusty's gotten a limo for her and a plane reservation. They hug good-bye, and then she goes down to the lobby. Dusty sees something she's forgotten. It's a sketchbook, with drawings of clothes... Dusty quickly catches up with Josey, and begs her to stay. She eventually agrees, and Dusty is painfully glad, and even plays with her hair a little bit... So I guess that Dani is now the forensics expert on the Oakdale Police force? I really like the actress playing Josey. Dusty is looking convincingly vulnerable and heartsick. Emily is so sickening I can't stand her. I find it very odd that nobody thought to tell Liberty about Brad being arrested and that she had to find out the way she did. And where was Janet today????? Previews look pretty darned good.

This storyline is a little bit intriguing to me....but not all that much. Most of the storylines were good. I am "happy" with most of the turn of events. I really do love the SOFTER PAUL...if only that could be the constant. PARKER was even good and less stalker. DANI....I just do not like her...and if we are supposed to think she is supposed to be a good professional...then the OTHER FIRST SCENES that she has had on this soap should have never occurred. I watch an episode like Thursday's and just wonder....what's coming up next? The day just seem to be a filler for the stories so that the outcomes will most likely hit around TGiving or something. It is SWEEPS, right?? And ATWT just always seem to portray some of the weaker shows during SWEEPS then BAM!
