Dusty arranges for Josey and Barbara to meet in the Lakeview lounge. Neither knows who they're supposed to be meeting. Dusty goes downstairs and meets with Babs first. She's been in NYC working on a new collection and is glad to be home. She missed Dusty.  Dusty gets a call and has to go outside to get reception, so Babs goes and gets a table. While she's sitting there, Josey walks in. When she sees Babs, she walks up to her and asks if they've met, Barbara feels very familiar to her.... Babs thinks that Josey is missing some screws, or something,  and Dusty walks up just in time to keep Babs from getting a little big pushy...  When Dusty tells Barbara and Josey that they're the ones he wanted to meet, Barbara tells Dusty, "We need to talk. Out here!" and drags Dusty into the lobby, where she procedes to tell him she thinks this woman is just a scam artist.... Paul's brought some Winter clothes out to the farm for Meg, who laughs and says there's no way she's fitting into clothes from last Winter. Meg asks Paul how he's doing and he brings her up to speed on the Dusty/Josey thing. He's worried that Barbara will be hurt.  Meg suggests setting up a dinner with Barbara and telling her about Josey before Dusty does. Paul wonders how he can just bring up the subject, and Meg suggests small talk, which makes Paul at the idea of himself and his mom making small talk. Meg says she'll go with him, so they head off to the Lakeview.Katie asks Brad what happened, why was he released, and Brad says that Katie should know, didn't she set it all up?  Katie swears she had nothing to do with it. Of course she doesn't tell him about the e-mail. Brad then tries to figure out who did do it and thinks that maybe it was Henry.... he goes to take a shower and Katie tries to send an e-mail to MD4994, but it can't be sent. Then she calls a guy at the station and asks him to find out whose e mail addy it is. He tells her that it's from an internet cafe in Berlin.  Henry and Vienna have apparently been having a policeman/prisoner sex fantasy at their room at the Lakeview and are going strong when in walks Oakdale's top cop, Margo.  She's got a search warrant. She's going to look for evidence and by god she's gonna find it. Of course Henry and Vienna plead ignorance, and there's some funny sexual innuendoes tossed around. Henry manages to make a quick call to Katie, but doesn't have time to tell her much... later they met at Java, and realize that none of the 4 of them stole Spencer's body and the evidence... Henry and Brad can tell, though, that Katie's holding something back. When Brad and Katie get home, Brad worms the truth out of Katie.  She asks him what they're going to do about the mysterious e-mail and Brad says they're just going to blow it off. Unknown to them, an e-mail shows up on Katie's laptop. "I'm glad everything worked out." It's from mld4994... While Babs is yelling at Dusty in the lobby, Meg and Paul walk in and Paul tells Dusty to leave his mother alone. Dusty says that Barbara needs to know "the truth". When Josey walks up, Paul tells Dusty to "get her out of here!" and Josey goes up to her room. A few more words are exchanged between Paul and Dusty, and then Barbara goes for a walk and Dusty goes up to Josey's room.... She's ready to leave town but he desperately tries to talk her out of it. She says she'll just hurt his mother and Paul by staying in town. Dusty shows her a picture of Jennifer and says that he still loves her. He's not on the rebound. Josey tells him he's got to be perfectly clear - she can never be Jennifer. Dusty gently takes her hand and says he knows, he just wants to help her remember her past. Josey agrees to stay. Paul apologizes to Meg, he thinks that he's back on her black list for getting angry with Dusty. But Meg thinks that Paul did really well, and suggests they get her a sandwich and go back to Fairwinds. They do, and Meg asks Paul why he doesn't want to talk about Jennifer. Paul says because when he betrayed her, that's when her life started to go wrong, and it's his fault and he can't make it right. Meg decides to stay the night with Paul. I'm really interested in this mysterious e-mailer. I liked Paul and Meg today. Why can't they always be like that? Good seeing Babs!

I thought the show was a complete mess. One of the worse shows ever. The only good part was seeing CZP. Besides that the whole show was pure FF material for me. Tomorrow's show looks much, much, much, better. |
