After watching Wednesday's show, I am totally a Josey fan! :2thumbs At this point, I don't care what happens with the supposed Jennifer connection, I just want Josey to be a good guy and to stay in Oakdale, and yes, I :heart her with Dusty! Although if they keep her with him, I want her to move out of Jen's shadow, I want Dusty to finally let Jen go, and I want to see a brand new beginning for Dusty and Josey. Not asking too much, am I? :shutup

Josey and Barbara were just great together.... 'Josey' stepped right up to Colleen ZP's standards of acting.... :clap

I'm a Josie fan too. For starters I think the actress is very good. I like her with Dusty a lot. If this is a scam I hope she is being used and isn't aware. Or at the very least if she is a part of it, let her fall for Dusty and confess and then help him find Johnny. I would love if she actually had some connection to Jennifer if that helped keep Barbara in the loop. I sure don't want a twin she wasn't aware of but if she were related to Jen through Darryl Crawford, just that would be enough of a connection to tie her to Barbara. I loved their scene together and want some sort of friendship between them to continue. I loved Dusty and Jen together but too would like to see this as some way he lets her go and moves on in his life. Even if there is a tie to Jen, I want Josie to become her own woman and be much more than a Jen look-a-like. Sure that's what started this but develop Josie as her own personality. And let Dusty love her because of who Josie is and not because he's hanging onto Jen. I think it has lots of potential.

I had to laugh yesterday when Emily said to Dusty that he would lose her and he replied, I doubt it. :lol That's probably be true but she needs to get lost. It's nice to have somebody to enjoy with Dusty and so far Josie really fits that bill!

I'm not sold on her yet. First of all, she's already on too much and her hair bugs the crap out of me for some reason. I think this is all just a set up by Craig to get to Dusty, and it's working.

OMG, I love her hair, it's gorgeous! :2thumbs As for her being on too much, I think that when they bring on a character that they plan to have a big story for, they SHOULD be on a lot, so we can decide whether or not we like them. :biggrin

I don't think she's on too much but part of that is this is really the only story I'm finding interesting these days.

I think new characters should work in more slowly and allow us to get used to them, but ATWT wants to over-saturate them. When nuMike debuted in April, he was on 18 shows, more than any other character. Same for Liberty and Janet, on way too much in the beginning.

Does anyone know how long Josie will be around?

I agree, Roger, about how new characters get pushed to the front, and often. I don't understand why TPTB think that's the way to do it, unless they are getting enough feedback that's telling them it works. Obviously, they aren't listening to our thoughts on the matter.

I love Josey too. I didn't like Dusty and Jennifer but I like Dusty and Josey. The actress is very good and I like what she brings to the role.

I really hope she is not involved in any scam but I fear she is. Hopefully, she is being used by some other nefarious character.

I also really liked her scenes with Barbara. Babs is liking her even though she was initially leering of her.

I love her hair too. To have hair like that would be great.

Obviously Barb's communication skills have improved :wink

I agree that often they overload the newbies wiht time. Mike barely missed a day and same with Janet and Liberty. I don't feel like they are doing that with Josie. She seems to be averaging 2 to 3 days a week where the others weren't missing a day.

And if she's taken airtime from anybody it seems to be Carly who is down to 1 to 2 days a week :cuss Although with this dreadful story that's really not a bad thing.

I love that Josie has brought Babs back to story and really hope that continues. :fingers

As far as her hair, they made a mistake today. I think when it's super curly that is a wig. But when she went to see Babs today it wasn't quite as curly and I think that was her real hair. But then when she met Dusty back at the Lakeview it was really curly again lol.

It's so cool to see someone with naturally curly hair like mine. I highly doubt that is a wig--my hair can get as big as that, then I can tame it down too. (I can imagine Grayson playing with my hair as she does hers--but I digress)

I'm liking Josey--in a way. I never connected with the Dusty/Jennifer story (except when she was dying). I thought their relationship was too contrived, just as Dusty and Josey's is now.

I'm glad someone else had the Daryl Crawford connection idea. I'm thinking that's got to be it--she is a little younger than Jennifer, which could be why we didn't hear about her before. Maybe Craig is behind this and is paying her to mess with Dusty. But then again, maybe not. It will be cool to find out. I hope the writers don't mess up what could be a very promising mystery.

I like Josie too, but not with Dusty. The way Dusty acts when he's around her creeps me out... then again Dusty pretty much creeps me out whatever he does these days. :shutup

Whether she knows it yet or not, I think there's a good chance that Josie is a plant from Craig.
