These two sisters... Ali is doing so well, and Emily, who should be doing better, is just tanking....  I love Ali, her hair, her outlook on life now that she's rid of the loser twins, Aaron and Chris, and  her relationship with Casey. I had to laugh yesterday when they were talking and she referred to herself as an ex-porn star/ex-methhead and CAsey was the ex-con, convicted felon...  Emily on the other hand - I do love her hair, and that's about it.  WTH was she wearing, and why oh why doesn't she move on with her life, stop being so needy, get some principles... I could go on and on and on.... That character is just horrible... she never, ever seems to make any progress.... When she  Dusty yesterday I was just humiliated for her, yet I wanted to  her!

I missed the show - sounds like there was some good and bad. I would LOVE to see Ali turn out to be the gem of the Stewart women. I've always had a soft spot for the character, way back with JD portrayed her, too. She has always been a mess - understandably so, IMO - and has matured over the years. She's more like Susan than Emily. I think Emily survives in spite her own efforts, while Susan and Ali seem to learn from their mistakes and try to move forward. That's my Stewart women rant for today.

I've liked Ali for along time but they seem to finally be letting her come into her own more. I really enjoy her with Casey and won't be opposed to a romance there, especially if they continue to take it slowly as two friends who one day become surprised when they realize their feelings are stonger. Emily is a total mess. As I just said in the other thread I laughed when she told Dusty that he would lose her and he said I doubt it I doubt it too because she is that desperate. The character is a total mess. It would be nice if they would finally start to let her grow from all of her mistakes. And I thought I was going to  when she was talking about how she loved Jen. Oh yeah Emily you really showed that when you kept her baby from her and then kept her apart form the man she loved when you kidnapped him. If that's love, I'd hate to see how she treats enemies!

I had to when Dusty said that, too, and was big time about that "I loved Jennifer, too" comment... I was surprised that Dusty managed to keep from slapping her....

Emily, of course, can leave Oakdale never, ever to return again. I HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE Emily. On the other hand, I love Allison and I really like her with Casey. Casey is much better paired with Allison. Emily should stay away from any and all of the men of Oakdale!!!!!!!!!! |

I guess since Oakdale doesn't have a James Stenbeck or a Craig M type bad guy right now, we have to make do with Emily.
