So basically Jeff, from Soap News and Scoops, who posted about Brian and Luke kissing, is breaking the news about another upcoming "twist" to be revealed on the show. From posts I have read, many expect this to occur the week before Craig returns.... but basically here it is:
So much of a let down. I was hoping it was Craig, she was Jen's half-sister, or pulling her own con. Does this mean Josie will exit? Or maybe they'll redeem her. But Paul! That's not shocking at all! |

Do you think this is really true though? I'm so hoping it's not. This just means more of Meg leaving Paul, and Paul trying to get her back, and I'm getting pretty sick of that storyline. They could have done so much more with this story than falling back onto Paul's manipulations. If this is true, than zero points for creativity on this one. |

UGGG is right!! I'm still hoping that somehow either Craig is involved or that Josie turns out to somehow be related to Jen. I just don't think Paul's that smart. I'm also hoping that Josie can be redeemed after this. I'm really liking the character and her chemistry with Dusty.

I'm going to add to my nightly prayers that this is NOT true! For one thing, it only leads to more repetitive, stupid story, with no and second, I don't WANT it to be true! ![]() I will say, however, that I've been totally astonished at how well Paul seems to be doing with therapy, and how fast, AND, we've never actually seen him with Dr Michaels, so could he be faking going?

I am thinking Paul is faking his therape, though pretty stupid since Meg could run into Dr. Michaels at the hospital at any given time I sure hope Paul is not connected to Josie, how cruel, but he is being pretty persistant in her being someone out to hurt Jen's memory, so maybe so. If it is true, even if Craig is involved, I hope Josie falls for Dusty and tells him the truth. |

Well it does say Paul is "shown" to be behind this. That could mean that he is being setup too. I kind of hope so because to do this to his sister's memory and to Barbara is awfully low even for Paul. But then whoever thought he would let his sister think her baby was dead? I just have to wonder if Paul is smart enough to even pull this off? We know he just isn't that bright. I still tend to think that Craig is ultimately behind this. Perhaps he put it all in motion and basically led Paul to it and has Paul thinking he was the mastermind when actually he was played? I still want Josie to be a victim in this and not know she was being used or else have her come forward first and turn the tables on Paul, Craig or anyone else involved. I'm really enjoying the character and want her to stick around. |

I didn't think that maybe Paul is being set-up to look as though he's behind hiring Josie to make a fool of Dusty. That's an interesting take on the spoiler. Perhaps James or Craig could still be behind it? I just find it awfully convenient that Paul might be revealed the culprit the week before Craig returns, possibly freeing up Meg to whine some more how Paul never changes, leave him, and be open to reuniting with her ex-husband Craig. I'm worried the show isn't going to keep Josie as well. Since Alison joined the show, she's the first young female character that I actually enjoy [after the litany list of other characters that have come and gone since Alison Stewart returned to the Oakdale scene]. Even though it looks as though Josie is conning Dusty, I still like her character- and hey, she could end up having a connection to Jennifer anyway! Remember, how Jade pretended to be the daughter of Rose, then it turned out she was the real deal? Since JP has a knack for rehashing her storylines, maybe this will be the same case as well. |

This storyline is awful. Not only is Josie freakishly a Jennifer lookalike, but the dialogue between Dusty and Josie is insufferable! The dude's fallen for her simply because she looks like Jennifer, and conveniently sketches dresses? PUHLEEZE!! |

So I guess we'll find out for sure if it's Paul or not. I hope Josie decides to "do the right thing" so they can keep her character on the show. |

It also says Dusty starts to put the pieces together. I'm guessing that may mean he starts to realize it's a scam. If Josie is working for Craig, it's possible she would then blame Paul to throw Dusty off track. |

I hope it is Craig, pulling a fast one on both Dusty & Paul. Dusty, by reminding him of Jennifer and having Josie play him for a fool at the same time. Paul could be played thinking he is orchestrating this, when in reality Craig's been behind this the entire time, but Paul will be the fall-guy blamed for everything once the truth comes out. Now I want to know this- Is Josie staying? Pity if the show does not redeem her and keep her in Oakdale. It would be like losing Matt, another great character that should have stayed on canvas as opposed to some of the other crap (Liberty) that gets a lot of screen time. |

I agree it will be a shame if they don't find a way to keep Josie around. This is really the first new character in a long time that I have liked right from the beginning. And if not her then they need to cast somebody else to pair with Dusty so why not just keep her? I think they could redeem her. I think they realized that Dusty/Emily was just not going to fly with enough fans. |

Ugh. I was thinking that this "new Paul" thing was happening way too easily. If this is true it sounds like it's a setup for Craig to swoop in and compete again for Meg. I hope that's not the case but it would be par for the course. I don't know who they expect to be interested Peg anymore. Either you hate them and FF or you are fans but are tired of the repetitive, thankless SL. With Carjack also heading 'round the same clubhouse turn, I know I for one am less tolerant of repetition in other stories. If Josie turns out to be a fake, I'm sure they'll find a way to keep her... that is if they don't pull a Matt. |

Well here is an update of the deal with Josie, straight from the latest SOD issue (Dec. 2, 2008):
Well, seeing as she feels bad over what she is doing to Dusty by reminding him of Jennifer, and putting him through his hurricane of emotions, maybe she will be redeemable. I was honestly hoping that Josie might be genuine yet... apparently not so. Anyway, I REALLY hope Josie stays. I like her! I hope she does have a connection to Jennifer that is revealed after the fact (it happened with Jade- why not Josie?). |
