Luke wakes up and remembers the kiss with Brian. He doesn't want to believe it really happened.  Lily and Holden are getting ready to go to the hospital to see Lucinda when Jack arrives. He wants Holden to be a character reference if needed. Holden agrees, and Jack, not wanting to keep them from seeing Lucinda, leaves. Then Lily for some reason goes off a tangent about how she wants "my marriage back". She wants to argue more with Holden, she wants things in their marriage to be grittier, less controlled, like it was when they first married... Holden's confused.  Especially when she pushes him to go talk to Carly and try to get her to drop the custody suit.  Janet's in the mall and runs into Sage, who's got a big case of the jitters and is waiting outside of Java for Carly. Janet tries to talk nicely to Sage about telling the truth. Janet tells Sage that in time they could all be one big happy family. That's when Carly walks up and tells Janet that Janet will never be part of her family, and whisks Sage home... Lily gets to the hospital and finds Brian snuggled up with Lucinda. He's brought sparkling cider and berries, for a romantic newlywed breakfast celebration. Lily says that Holden will be there later, and that she's left a message with Luke to join them as well. Holden talks to Carly and they end up talking about pretty much everything under the sun: their affair, Holden and Lily's marriage; the fact that Holden's not wearing his wedding ring; Carly leaving the kids for Simon .... Holden tries to get Carly to see that everybody's going to be hurt, and asks, "How far do you think a little girl would go to get her mommy and daddy back together? How far would YOU go to get what you want?"..  Luke shows up at the hospital and opens the door to Lucinda's room, just as he's making a toast with her and Lily, to his new bride.  Luke can't believe it. Brian goes to get another glass for Luke and Luke grabs him outside the room and asks him how he can act like last night never happened. Brian makes light of it, saying that he was trying to comfort Luke, and that sure, maybe he did kiss him and maybe it WAS on the lips,  but that he comes from a touchy feely family.... Luke says he's going to tell his grandma, but it ends up that he never does that day....Lily tells him that he needs to be happy for Lucinda, even if he has to pretend, and then she heads home because Holden wants to talk to her... Luke STILL wants to tell Lucinda about the  but can't seem to find the moment...  In Lucinda's room, Brian pulls out a jeweler's box with a set of wedding rings inside. He tells Lucinda to give him back his Princeton class ring, which she does, laughingly, after kissing it... He slips her ring on her finger, saying, "this hand is like you...smooth, strong, elegant, and MINE" and Lucinda slips his ring on his finger, saying, "and your hand is like you, passionate, pushy, loving..and MINE."  Tom, Janet and Jack are having a pre-hearing confab in the interrogation room at the station. Janet tells them about talking to Sage and getting into it with Carly. Tom says that they'll just have to hit harder in court, but that no way is Carly going to win sole custody... Janet and Jack once again talk about the entire situation, and then Jack gets a brainstorm! They should get married right away, that way, Sage will realize that nothing she does will get Carly and Jack together. At first Janet says no way, but as usual, Jack wins her over... As Sage and Carly are ready to leave the house for court, Sage tells Carly that Janet told her she might not get to see Jack anymore after today. Carly says that Sage WILL see Jack, but it would be with an officer of the court present... After hearing that, Sage tells Carly the truth - She's not afraid of Janet and Janet never hit her.  Carly is ready to  but says she's not mad at Sage, she's just very sad. Sage heads up to her room, saying she doesn't want to apologize to Janet. Carly mutters that she doesn't, either. So Carly goes down to the station and gives Jack and Janet the good news. Of course they're relieved. Jack wants to see Sage, but Carly asks him to wait a day, and he agrees. As Carly leaves, she turns and says she's sorry, and Jack sadly says, "I'm sorry, too, Carly..."  So Jack and Janet get ready to head home and celebrate... At Holden and Lily's, Lily apologizes to Holden for making him talk to Carly. He agrees she shouldn't have, but says that Carly did agree, finally not to go to court. Then Holden says that Lily was right about the two of them being too careful with each other, and he also says that Carly asked him about him not wearing his ring. So it ends up with the two of them putting rings back on, and kissing... Well, I really liked today's show. I know you carjackers won't be happy, but there was still that bond between Carly and Jack, so....  The actress who played Sage did an awesome job today! Brian's attitude with Brian about the kiss was interesting, to say the least. |

I am glad that Carly told the truth when she found out.Mybe there is hope that her and Jack will be back togather. |

I'm so conflicted tonight as a Carjacker. I loved Carly today! She really seemed to grow up throughout the course of the episode. Well, that is until the next time that the writers want to dumb her down again. But I don't think that I want her back with Jack. Jack was more worried about Janet's feelings, Janet's clothes and getting home to get her out of those sensible clothes than about his daughter. I'm really starting to hate Jack. |

Amen HJ, Amen. I can't stand Jack anymore. I FF Jack and Janet as much as I can. No more Carly and Jack! |

That's all I kept thinking watching today. What is it about Jack that makes him bend over backwards to preserve his relationships with all the "not Carlys" but barely lift a finger to fix anything with Carly? I'm tired of trying to figure that one out. He's just a jerk. |

Watching LIAN...as in LUKE & BRIAN....I wonder which directions TPTB will go with this storyline now? I am expecting the worse...and hoping for the best. LUKE...I have loved how VanH has picked up the character of LUKE and portrayed him. I hope LUKE keeps his scruples concerning BRIAN and keeps him VERY FAR AWAY from himself. I also wonder if LUKE will attempt to bring NOAH into the equation. BRIAN is the type of person that enflames my HATE for certain types of people to EXTREMELY BRIGHT RAINBOW COLORS OF HATE. I want BRIAN GONE NOW....only because I just do not expect JP to address this storyline with any brain cells. LUKE has painted himself into such a corner that if he attempts to talk about things....people will just look at him like he is OFF HIS ROCKER. JACK...was a CAD, yesterday. To think that the WEDDING should happen immediately.... HOLDEN was just as bad as Jack. JP....PLEASE STOP MESSING WITH MY SNDYER MEN. |
