According to Michael Logan, Phoebe is being killed off. She'll die in a car accident, with Rick driving the car. Of course, Ridge will then hate Rick even more than he already does. -Kara

Different subject, but I saw a picture of Bill Bell and his wife somewhere and it said that his wife is now head writer for Y&R... is that true, and how long has she been that, if it is?

Bill Bell Jr.'s wife, Maria Arena Bell, is Head Writer of Y&R -- along with Hogan Sheffer and somebody else whose name I can't remember. I think she was promoted to HW shortly after the former HW/EP, Lynn Marie Latham, was fired. Bill Sr. died a couple of years ago ... his wife, Lee Phillip Bell (mother of Bill Jr., Brad, and Lauralee) isn't that involved in Y&R or B&B anymore, as far as I know, but you still see her picture at cast events sometimes. Lee was a TV personality here in Chicago before she and Bill and their family moved out to California. I used to work in the same building with her ... she was a very gracious person. (I actually went to her office once and suggested a plot line for Y&R! She thanked me and then told me why it wouldn't work.) She was also the co-creator of B&B along with Bill. -Kara

But I do remember that she told me about an upcoming storyline they were doing which would have conflicted with my idea. This was before the days of spoilers in the magazines, so I felt really privileged to know about an upcoming storyline before anyone else! -Kara

Good point! We even saw "Taylor's body" in an open coffin at the funeral and she still came back. And Macy came back from the dead, only to die again -- I think she still might show up again someday if Bobbie Eakes leaves AMC. Macy is the James Stenbeck of B&B. -Kara

Newbie Posts: 21 Group: Members Member #453 Joined: October 29, 2008	it's going to be so sad when phoebe dies... it should be very good though since it will be The Forresters vs. the logans (as rick calls them "dad's other family" ) BB has had a lot of very dark tragedies in the past year.. Storm committing suicide to give his heart to katie (after he accidentally shot her) was very sad.....
