I was without cable for a big part of the first half of the show, so this will just be about what I was able to watch... duh, huh? It's the morning after lovemaking for Dusty and Josey, and Dusty wants to get back to Oakdale pronto. He's obviously feeling mixed emotions. Josey is feeling like she let him down, and is feeling insecure. Eventually, though, they decide to try and let Josey be Josey, and see if maybe Dusty likes her as much as he liked Jennifer. ![]() In Oakdale, Daniel's home. Tom brings him to the house, and he's teasing Margo about what smells so good in the kitchen, and how she can't be responsible for it. Emily calls and wants to see Daniel. She won't be there for Thanksgiving, and he's already had a sandwich, so it ends up that Tom says she can come over to the house. Daniel's hoping that his mom bought him a new video game... Casey's been job hunting, which seems kind of odd since apparently it's Thanksgiving. No luck, and he wonders aloud to Ali if maybe he could get a job at Java. She discovers that he hasn't told his parents about being suspended, and she insists that he do that today. He says he will, but she's got to come along with him for moral support.Emily manages to run into Paul at the mall, and starts nagging at him about trying again to get Josey out of town. Meg walks up and overhears a little bit, but Emily covers well, and this leads Paul later, to confess to Meg about how he offered Josey $1 million to leave town, and how she slapped him. Meg does forgive him....Dusty and Josey are back in Oakdale and Josey's promised Dusty an anti-Thanksgiving dinner in the suite. She sends him away and says she'll call him when everything is ready. He waits in the lounge at The Lakeview, looking at a picture of Jen, and murmurs, "It's time, Jenny, I have to let you go..." ![]() Meanwhile, Paul's been trying without success to call somebody... so he decides to go see them in person, and knocks loudly on the door of..... Josey's suite! He pushes his way in and tells her that when he calls, she had better answer, after all, she's working for him! Josey says she can't keep doing "this" and Paul says oh yes, you can, in fact, we're stepping things up. ![]() At Tom and Margo's, Casey's told his parents about being suspended and of course it hasn't gone well. Casey reacts as he usually does, by trying to hurt his parents, and does a fine job of it, especially to Tom. At first Margo blames Ali, but gets over that and in fact, Ali is helping Margo in the kitchen when Casey steps outside. Emily's there, too, and she throws a liplock on Casey. Ali comes outside just in time to see that, and says that "this is totally inappropriate". Casey tells Ali that Emily initiated it, and that Emily is just leaving. ![]() So Emily makes up a story to Daniel about going home so that Susan won't come home to an empty house on Thanksgiving, and leaves. She stands outside, sadly watching through the window as the group inside holds hands and Tom says a prayer. Then, Margo adds her own little bit, saying that even though things aren't perfect for them, they should realize how really lucky they are... ![]() Lisa is apparently entertaining the troops that are home on leave, at the USO. (wouldn't they be going to their own homes? ) Kim and Bob are working at the soup kitchen and it's so busy this year that they have to stay and work late. ![]() Daniel has really grown up! ![]() I'm not sure what an anti-Thanksgiving meal is... ![]() Finding out that Paul is behind Josey makes me

Well an anti-Thanksgiving according to Josie would be something like sushi instead of turkey and coleslaw instead of stuffing. Dusty didn't think that sounded like such a good combination. She was surprising him with the meal.I'm trying to decide who the biggest loser is today in Oakdale, Paul or Emily Casey called it right that Dusty must have dumped Emily now that she was wanting Casey again. If it was anybody but Emily I might have felt sorry for them for what Tom was saying. Casey was hurtful to Tom but Tom wasn't really any better to him. I did like that Ali made a good point and got through to Margo who at first was blaming Ali I didn't like the way Paul was manhandling Josie He's totally out of control and went way too far. Hopefully Meg leaves him for good. I'd love for Barbara to be done with him too. This plot just shows what a loser he is.I loved Dusty/Josie I'm glad that she at least wants out of the plan. And I liked her idea about doing things other than what Dusty/Jen did and learning what's different about her. Here's hoping Dusty hs fallen for her enough that he will find a way to forgive her After all if he could get past what Emily did to him! Daniel certainly has grown. I noticed today they now said he is 15. I wonder if the plan is down the road to keep Daniel around and let him be buddies with Parker and JJ., assuming somebody notices JJ has gone missing and finds him. I think Daniel should be on the scene.

I hate this Josie/Paul/Meg/Dusty storyline because now we'll have the same old same old between Paul and Meg, where she leaves him, again, and blah, blah, blah and I'm SO sick of it. |

Paul is vile. You have to hand it to his loyal fans though for sticking with Roger Howarth despite playing the most despicable character EVER. I only caught the tail end today. I will watch the Casey stuff online later. I have no interest in Paul/Josie. |

Paul is the most bitter excuse for a human being ever! No man should ever handle a lady like that! What a freaking creep. I'm glad that Josie isn't evil, that she has a conscious, and feels guilty about what she is doing. Dusty and Josie have some really good chemistry, and I like the gentle side that she brings out in him. I wasn't really into Jennifer and Dusty, but I definitely love Josie and Dusty. Alison and Casey are cool. I thought Emily was ridiculous being jealous of her sister's friendship with her ex-boyfriend, and then making the lame ploy to come onto him. She just can't seem to make up her mind who she wants: Dusty or Casey. I have a feeling Emily is going to end up alone. Her fault!

Emily deserves to end up alone, she is just as vile a human being as Paul is, and that's saying a lot. (this smiley is gonna come in handy... )And yeah, Roger, I do hand it to RH's fans.... geeze, they sure get screwed over...

For some ODD reason...I do not feel so alone anymore. When I stated my LOVE and ALLEGIANCE to ANNE.P.---AKA JULIA LINDSAY SNYDER.....it was before tptb made her into a tree and horse killer....among other things. I still stick with my PRINCESS JULIA....but at least NOW I do not feel so alone. I now have all of RH's fans to be able to commisserate with over the destruction of a character from OAKDALE. Along with ADAM HUGHES' fans. |
