Paul's still yelling at Josey and telling her she's got to keep doing what he's paying her to do and she insists that it's not working, and then tells him that she's starting to fall in love with Dusty. This sends Paul off into a fit of maniacal cackling... then he pulls himself together and starts to write down on a napkin what Josey should do next.. ![]() Jack stops at Carly's to pick up Sage to take to the farm for Thanksgiving. Naturally, Sage doesn't want to go, and is sulking around, and Carly tells Jack she thinks that it's too soon to be having Sage spend time around Janet, but Jack insists that the sooner the better, so off they go... ![]() Thanksgiving prep is in full swing out at the farm, and phone calls keep coming from missing family members: Seth, Ellie, Iva... Aaron has gone to Seattle to spend Thanksgiving with his mom... Liberty's with Brad and Katie and then will go over to Tom and Margo's... Luke's still acting like a spoiled brat and worse. Holden tries to talk to him, but Luke pushes him away, so Holden ends up going to Java and inviting Noah to come out to the farm later. Meanwhile, Luke starts sneaking booze from the cooler that's out on the porch. He pours it into a coffee cup that he's carrying around, and it's obvious that he's getting drunk, but somehow, nobody notices, or even smells it on him... ![]() Lucinda and Brian show up and this makes Luke even worse. ![]() Emma and Janet have some cute moments as they work out how to both be working in the kitchen at the same time... ![]() Holden's back at the farm, and Lily and the kids are there, too. Faith tells Lily that Sage won't play with them... Lily says it's because Sage misses her mother. Janet overhears and takes off.... ![]() Naturally Janet's going to talk to Carly, who tells Janet that what she's thankful for is not to have to be with Janet on Thanksgiving. But Janet ends up convincing Carly to come out to the farm. Actually, she says that if Carly doesn't come with her, Janet will stay with Carly and they can have Thanksgiving together. When Carly gets to the farm, Sage is overjoyed...Dusty and Josey are sitting on a blanket on the floor of the hotel suite, having their anti-Thanksgiving dinner. Suddenly, Josey says that her hand feels terribly cold and that she had a vision of a little boy, freezing cold, shivering and afraid.... it's Johnny... Not too much time goes bye before Dusty gets a call from his P.I. - He's gotten a lead on Lucy and Johnny! They were spotted in a small village in Norway... when he tells Josey, she gasps and says that explains the cold she felt! Dusty passionately kisses Josey and it looks like they're headed for another round of lovemaking.... At the farm, it's time to cut the Hubbard Squash. Brian asks Lucinda what's going on, and Lucinda says "oh, they hack up a squash with a chainsaw.." All the guys get involved in trying to cut the squash, even Paul and Brian. Luke makes sure to sneer at Brian that he bets Brian feels like a real man, cutting that squash, and earlier, opening a jar of something that nobody else could open... ![]() It's finally dinner time and they're all gathered around the table listening to Emma talk about everything they have to be thankful for. Meg says that they're having a baby girl and they're naming her Eliza... ![]() Janet and Jack announce that they're getting married on New Year's Eve. Janet looks sad, and Emma says she can't wait until they get married so she can go to Jant's house and drive her crazy in HER kitchen... ![]() Everyone holds hands around the table as grace is said. Luke is sitting between Brian and Noah. ![]() Later, Carly and Lily talk. Carly says that she's accepted Jack being with Janet, but that since Parker was born on New Year's Eve, she guesses that day won't be theirs anymore... Lily says that the important thing is that Janet invited Carly to come to the farm. Carly says yes it was, and family is what's important... Sage overhears and goes outside to find Jack and Janet. She asks Janet if it's true that Janet invited Carly and Janet says yes. Sage tells Janet, "That was nice. And...I'm sorry, you know, about that other thing..." Naturally, Carly's washing dishes and watching through the kitchen window. ![]() People are starting to leave. Noah's first, and he asks Luke why he's coming down so hard on Brian. Luke says Noah doesn't want to know, but Noah says yes he does. Just then, Brian walks outside and interrupts. Noah leaves and Brian asks Luke what his problem is, Brian thought that after he sobered Luke up the other night, things were better between them. Luke is astonished to hear that. Brian tells Luke he needs some breath mints, the smell of booze on him is strong. Luke sneers that Brian had better not "tell on me" because Brian's got more to lose than Luke does... ![]() Janet and Jack have driven Carly and Sage home, and it's a little awkward, but Sage hugs Jack and goes inside and Jack and Janet leave, Jack telling Carly to take after herself... ![]() Meg and Paul are home and Meg goes to take a warm bath. Paul gets a call and asks, "did he take the bait?" ![]() Actually, I enjoyed the Thanksgiving at the farm. It seemed a lot like a regular Thanksgiving with family, not everybody is going to get along, and there's going to be history and issues, but.... And then of course there's the Hubbard Squash. ![]() It did seem strange to me, though, that Parker and JJ weren't at Emma's. |

New Year's Eve?!?!?!?!?! Are the writers trying to kill all things Carjack? What's next Jack giving Janet a compass and calling her his true north? Maybe they'll go to Montana for their honeymoon too. I'll go postal if the word G-Man ever comes out of her mouth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

It was a nice touch to have Iva, Ellie and Abigail call. I really, really, really can't stand Paul.

I thought it was a good showing outside anything Josie related. Why can't we just have a nice family show without that craziness, especially Paul screeching at her the first fifteen minutes. |

It was nice to see everyone sit down and have a nice family dinner without a ton of problems... well, except for Luke. Nobody but Brian noticed he was buzzed? Uh huh. I hate that they're making Paul so over the top evil. What does he do when Meg kicks him out this time? Leave town would be good. When they announced the name of their baby I thought it was going to be something Snydery-y. Wonder where they came up with Eliza? I like it but it's so My Fair Lady. lol A New Year's wedding, aye? Well, it's official, I do not want Jack and Carly together anymore. I can't stomach Jack anymore. He's put Carly through way too much and given up on her way too many times. He's not that salt of the earth "perfect" guy that everyone treats him as. The only way I can see ever liking him again is if someone knocks him off his pedestal and kicks him in the a$$ BIG. TIME. He deserves it. Poor, poor Carly. What man are we going to get for you?? |

I kept waiting for them to explain why Eliza was picked as the name, I was thinking they were going to say they were calling her Emma. Then, when one of the kids asked Emma why she was crying right then, I thought she would say something like Eliza was the name of a child she'd had who had died or something, but no....

I also thought they were going to say the name would be Emma. At least they aren't naming her something like Goodyear. |

I know JP's daughter often picks the names for the babies. This time they didn't even try to make it logical I'm all for Paul leaving town when Meg leaves him again I sensed a lot of foreshadowing and I suspect there will be some changes to those wedding plans. I just wanted to smack the shrew known as Janet when she came to Carly's. Since you were so anxious for an apology from Sage Janet, why don't you apologize to Carly for all your false accusations and for calling her a bitch. But guess Janet feels entitled to bash Carly, It was ridiculous that nobody noticed that Luke was drunk and smelled like a brewery.

I, too, sensed all of the foreshadowing about the wedding. But, honestly, at this point I really don't care. Jack has turned into a whore. He didn't love Katie, he doesn't love Janet...all he is doing is running away from Carly because its too hard to be with her. Maybe I'd buy the story if everything wasn't so rushed and it wasn't just Halloween that he was begging Carly to give them a shot. Its not even that I hate Janet, I don't, I could really like her. If she wasn't propped up so high on the anti-Carly pedastool. I can even she them being friends. At this point I'd rather have Carly and Janet remain friends and both of them kick Jack to the curb. There's nothing redeeming about him at this point in my eyes. |

Oh my goodness....JACKLUSTER # 13 reporting in. JACK IS NOT A WHORE. He is not being PAID for his services. One of the good things about JACK SNYDER...as HOT AS A GMAN that this guy is....FINALLY he has been a meal for several partners and not just tied down with CARLY when CARLY tends to not appreciate the fact that SHE HAD some GOLD at home and just had to leave him and chase her "dreams". I really did not think about THIS until I read someone calling one of my SNYDER MEN a WHORE...but if JACK is getting out and enjoying a FEW DIFFERENT.....VERY DIFFERENT women...then all it does is allow me to appreciate JACK SNYDER more. Now....take a second and just think what would be happening with ATWT IF....BRIAN was replaced with JACK?? Meaning...what if it was JACK that did a liplock with LUKE?? 'nuff said. (copyright HJ) |
