Jessica appeared on the show Life, tonight. If you're on the west coast, you can still catch the show, which airs on NBC at 9 PT (and probably 8 MT).

She looks great, had a semi-pivotal role, and did well. It was so good to see her again. I've often wondered what she was doing.

Thank you. I watched LIFE last night, as I always do, and saw the actress and was racking my brain about who she was. I knew I had seen her before but couldn't place her. Thanks for jogging my memory.

Also, Billy Magnussen (spelling?) (Casey on ATWT) was on Law & Order last night. He did a good job.

Good to see ATWT actors taking on other roles.

Wow, thank you for posting this. I do watch that show and I was also racking my brain trying to think of where I knew her from. She looks so good. I love her darker blonde hair color. She was also fantastic in her role!

I unfortunately didn't hear about her being on until after the fact. I don't watch the show but would have just to see her. This is the first work I have heard of her doing since leaving the show. I know she had even become a brunette at least in the last pictures I saw so I expect she may also have looked different.

I didi see Billy on L&O and thought he was very good.

Judy, if you decide you like the episode/series, I suggest you catch up on a some of the first episodes from last season to fill in the back story. The main character has an interesting past.

They can be viewed here.....

It's one of the better "newer" shows in my opinion. I stumbled on to it accidently while I was home nursing a sore back. I didn't even remember it being on last year. hehe

(hope it's ok to post that link here... plz remove it if not)

I thought Jessica did a good job in the role - she's such a talented, pretty young woman and she played the role well. I hope she continues to keep getting acting jobs!

The show "Life" in general is not a regular cop show, IMO. I can't put my finger on it about precisely what makes it different or appealing, other than the acting. The cast is terrific and the humor, stories-of-the-week, and background arc all come together very nicely.

The show is also listed on TelevisionWithoutPity's website as one of the 10 best shows that more people need to watch ("True Blood," "Chuck" and the now cancelled "Pushing Daisies" make the list, too). Here's the writeup from TWoP's website (www.televisionwithoutpity.com):

Quote:

There are a lot of police procedurals on TV nowadays, and it's hard to know which ones are worth watching and which ones aren't. Life belongs in the former category, if only for the hypnotic presence that is Damian Lewis. After watching him play Major Winters in Band of Brothers, we would follow him into anything, except possibly jail, which is why his performance as a police detective slowly returning to normalcy after 12 years of wrongful imprisonment is endlessly entertaining. Happy to be free, slowly getting used to new technology and excited about the abundance of fruit, Charlie Crews got a lot of money from the state, but he also got his old job back, bringing an inner calm -- and the mind of a convict -- to each case he investigates. Sarah Shahi is the vodka to his orange juice as his ex-addict partner, while Adam Arkin is his ex-con roommate/accountant and Donal Logue brings a New York state of mind to the Los Angeles squad room as his transplanted captain; all three make their scenes with Lewis zing. (Mad Men's Christina Hendricks is also a recurring character, if that does anything for you.) A running plot shows Crews trying to find out who had him framed -- he caught the real shooter last season and is slowly working his way up the ladder -- but the individual cases are the real meat, involving unusual people in very unusual situations, from police groupies to Lottery Winners Anonymous. ...Did we mention the show was funny? -- Zach Oat

And yes, I'm shamelessly plugging this awesome show!!! :devil

Glad to know other people like this show. I've been watching from the beginning. I might have passed on it, except it was the only thing on I thought sounded interesting, when it debuted. I've been hooked ever since.

LOLOLOL. I loved this week's scene with Ted and his two "companions" at the table, in prison. Arkin was inspirational casting for this part.

I'm still not happy he's in prison. He was framed, I tell ya' (and he was too!).
