Craig's coming into contact with just about everybody in Oakdale, it seems like. And nobody's glad to see him. :shutup

Dani's the only one who WANTS to see him, but she's not getting what she wants and makes a big mistake. :waiting

Paul's running around town like a madman, desperate to get Meg back. Barbara comes to Fairwinds after she talks to Craig and asks Paul what he's going to do to get his life back. She suggests that he talk to Josey and give her a bunch of money to say that Paul begged her to tell Dusty the truth, but she wouldn't. Paul insists that Josey won't listen, or even meet with him, so Barbara sets up the meeting, and then Paul shows up. Paul was right, Josey won't have anything to do with his bribe. When Josey starts to leave, Paul grabs her arm and that's when Meg and Paul show up.

Dusty pulls Paul off of Josey and takes her up to his room. Meg heads out to the farm.

Craig's having a drink with Carly at The Lakeview, and making it plain to him that they can't ever be friends, or anything else. Dani walks up and she's been bitten by the green-eyed monster and says enough that Carly puts 2 and 2 together, despite Craig's story that "Dani is like a daughter to me..." :waiting

Katie is stressed out about having lied and given Craig an alibi, and Brad picks up that something's wrong, but she won't tell him. Brad's starting to get real suspicious of Dani. She's always around when something happens.... he takes off "for a walk" and starts tracking Dani. Meanwhile, Katie's taken off and looks for Craig. She finds Carly first, and now Carly starts getting vibes that something's wrong with Katie and Craig's relationship.

Meanwhile, Dani and Craig meet and Craig warns Dani not to mess things up, or she'll be sorry. They have a little scene that sure reminded me of Emily and the way her relationships with men usually go... :hmm

Josey seems to be making progress trying to make Dusty see that there might be a future for them. He offers to give her a loan to pay off her student loans. They decide to have dinner... :biggrin

Paul followed Meg out to the farm and she suddenly starts having cramping. He takes her to the hospital where Dr Schiller confirms to Meg that she's just having Braxton-Hicks contractions. Paul tries to intrude on the exam, but Dr Schiller threatens to call security, and he backs off. Later, Dr Schiller drives Meg home and tells her everything looks normal with the pregnancy. No sooner does Dr Schiller leave, though, and Meg has another contraction... :hmm

Brad happens upon Craig and Dani and overhears enough to know that something's going on between them. He follows Craig and tells him that he'd better come clean...

Meanwhile, Carly is trying to pull the truth out of Katie about what's really going on with Katie and Craig. :hmm

A sad and frantic Paul gets back to Fairwinds and tells Barbara that everything he does goes bad. He tells her that Meg saw him with Josey and it just made things worse. :waiting Barbara says there's got to be something she can do to help, but Paul says that this is his problem and nobody can fix it...

Today seemed to be pretty much about Craig inserting himself into peoples' lives and trying to figure out what his role in Oakdale will be. He keeps saying that he'll do anything for his kids, and we know how dangerous that can be. :rolleyes

I liked that Carly was picking up on all the strange vibes. :2thumbs

Dani seems to be rapidly falling to pieces.... :smack

Who's going to end up delivering Meg's baby? Any bets? :devil

I was thinking Carly might be a better match for Paul! They have a lot more in common than Carly and Craig. :shutup

Paul & Babs did a real flip flop today. Babs went back to cunning while Paul had a brief moment of rationality, of course AFTER the point at which it would have been useful. :waiting I like the idea of Paul giving up as it seems to help his brain actually function.. too bad that will be short-lived.

I haven't read the spoiler but I know who delivers Meg's baby.. it just stands to reason. :waiting

I really like Dusty and Josie. I'm glad it's looking like they might be patching up their friendship. :2thumbs

Paul is going to be the death of Meg. His obsession will never end until she is gone. You watch! :gaah

Dani was a freak today. No comment. I liked Carly taunting Craig. Those are always classic scenes. I have a feeling Dani will be exiting the canvas pretty soon.

Brad and Katie, is same old, same old. :wacko

Who else would deliver Meg's baby other than the one guy the rides to the rescue of every damsel in distress? :lol

That would be my guess, too... :shutup I was filling in Tom about how Oakdale's babies always seem to be delivered on a floor or a couch and usually by a non-medical person. :lol :lol

EAVESDROPPING....Was yesterday the FIRST TIME EVER where a person (say, Brad) snucked up and overheard a conversation and FOUND OUT THE TRUTH??? I even include CARLY as someone who "sort of" "saw and heard" something and it seems to be the TRUTH.

Usually everytime someone overheard a statement then it seemed to always be twisted. The poor Snyder men have been plague with this mis-information for decades.

It is about time a new form of finding the truth out is simply overhearing a conversation!!

I also find it disturbing that we have been using the JEN SMILEY for JOSEY. I think we are "pulling a PAUL" in this manner.

I do try to stay spoiler free, but I'm sure it will be either Dusty or Paul delivering the baby. No way will it happen in a hospital.

Well, flashy, the Jen smile is being used for Josey because we weren't sure how long Josey would be around, still aren't, for that matter, but mainly because there was the supposed connection between the two characters. :smile Feel free to bring some new ideas to the table... :2thumbs

Yeah, I know AruBarb....I just had to add the thought because seeing JEN running back and forth just make me wish she was still around.

If JEN had not died...and JOSEY replaced JF...she would be such a good replacement character....and we would be blessed with better writing than this mess.

I agree that Josey would have been a good replacement for the Jen character, but not so sure that we'd be having better writing. :devil
