I can't tell you how happy I am that River turned out to be a criminal after all. I got so tired of seeing Michael's father portrayed as this great humanitarian. From everything I've seen the past two days, it looks like River not only stole millions of dollars from the bank that was bombed -- it sounds like he was also the one who planted the bomb. So he was guilty of those charges the judge dismissed (including the death of the bank guard). And now that Michael has gone to Heather and told her, I'm hoping they re-file the charges. River was never tried, so there's no double jeopardy here. I'm not sure the explanation of why Michael can do this, despite the attorney-client privilege thing, is really correct -- but I'm willing to suspend disbelief because it's what I wanted in the first place. I loved when River said something about Jeffrey turning him in, and Michael said Jeff is a pathetic loser (or words to that effect) but "compared to you, he's a saint!" I hope Jana & Kevin get Mrs. Chancellor's money back. And speaking of Mrs. C., I hope she tries to pawn the emerald ring soon, so the police will find it and track her down. She needs to go back to her real life. -Kara |

Obviously, I haven't been watching the show for awhile,  but I did catch today where I was getting that River is a bad guy, and I was sooooo happy, too!  Why did they switch Edens? I didn't like the other one, but this one reminds me too much of Colleen years ago.  I'm wondering what's going to happen with Gloria now... maybe she and River can share a cell.

I didn't like the other Eden, either -- but this one isn't much of an improvement. And she definitely doesn't look 15. I don't see how Gloria can get out of this one. And poor Michael! He's got Victor's case to worry about, plus Gloria. I did read that Christine is coming back in January ... maybe she'll represent the whole Baldwin-Fisher family (since Michael, Kevin, and Lauren all knew about what Gloria did and they might face charges, too). -Kara |

Oh brother, the whole family up on charges!   Remember your comment yesterday about Katherine Chancellor?  Well, guess where River is sitting today, asking for a cup of tea?  Yep, THERE!

Yes! I just hope poor Murphy doesn't get sucked into River's problems. And it looks like Mrs. C is going to pawn her ring to help Murphy, so maybe someone will finally figure out who "Marge" really is. -Kara |
