Dusty and Josey are in Al's sharing a 2-4-1 Brisket sandwich when Dusty's phone rings. It's Meg, saying she neds Dusty's help. She tells him what happened with Paul, and begs him to come help her. He says he'll call an ambulance and then be right there. Dusty asks Josey to find Barbara and tell her to get to the hospital, Paul's being brought in. Josey isn't looking forward to seeing Babs, but agrees to do it. She finds Barb at the Lakeview, still frantically trying to find Paul. When Josey tells her about Paul, Babs thanks Josey and they go to the hospital. Once there, Paul's put in a room and Babs and Josey are by his side. Josey passes on whatever info she's got about Paul, and Babs wonders where Meg and Dusty are. Somewhere safe, she thinks. "Paul would like that."  A nurse comes in to pump Paul's stomach and Babs and Josey leave. As the nurse starts to insert a tube in Paul's nose, he gives a mighty scream and starts thrashing around in bed like a fish out of water.  At that same moment, Meg, with Dusty at her side, and Doctor Schiller at her feet, gives a mighty push and a loud scream, and Elizabeth Snyder comes into the world. Her fingers and toes are all there, but Dr Schiller quickly rushes her out of the room. Meg whispers to Dusty, "She didn't make a sound!"    Lily's still at Metro talking to Bonnie about Jade, and what lies ahead for her. Jade's in Lily's living room, but when she hears somebody coming in the back door, she slips outside, and, once the person, who turns out to be Luke, gets into the living room, Jade knocks, and she and Luke have a happy reunion. UNTIL she tries lying to him about her adoptive parents needing money to save their house.  Luke insists that she tell him the truth, and she tells him about being in the car when this guy named Robbie decides to do a robbery and she ended up driving at gunpoint, and then running away... Luke insists that she has to turn herself in, but she refuses. So Luke gets her to go upstairs and shower and borrow some clothes.Once Jade's upstairs, Luke calls Lily, who tells him to stall Jade. He does, and before Jade and Luke can leave, Lily and Bonnie walk in. At first Jade's angry, but finally they all sit down and Bonnie starts in, taking notes and being a lawyer to Jade. Then she goes down to the police station, saying she'll call when it's time for Jade to come down there. Luke and Jade share some stories from the past and Lily gives Jade a hug. Then, it's time to go.... At the station, everybody's shocked when Jade is arrested. And it turns out that she's being extradited to Florida!  Bonnie's going to see what she can do, contacting people in Florida.Luke feels bad that he had a part in this...  He says even when he tries to do the right thing, he screws up.Meg's frantic to find out about Eliza's condition. Dusty goes to look for Dr Schiller and tells an intern or somebody that he's Meg's husband, so the guy tells Dusty, "Come with me." Josey hears this, and begins to realize the bond that Meg and Dusty have... While Josey and Barbara wait in the hall, a shrink goes in to talk to Paul, who starts giggling and talking about how James told him to take the pills. The shrink comes out and tells Babs that Paul is hallucinating, and just then Paul comes staggering out of his room, yelling for James. He has to be subdued forcefully.... Once Paul's sedated, Barbara comes in and Paul told her that James told him to take the pills. He says that he "sees" James everyday. "He comes to me..." Barbara is hurting for her son, as she listens to a tearful Paul talk about what James says to him... then he starts to cry as he thinks about Meg leaving him.... Soon he drifts off, and a devastated Barbara leaves the room. She tells Josey she has to find Bob Hughes to get Paul committed. She explains to Josey that Paul is hearing and seeing things. Josey sees Dusty in the hall, and tells him that Paul may have to be committed. She asks about the baby and just then here comes the intern , pushing Eliza in a bassinett. Dusty takes "his daughter" into Meg's room, where mother and daughter have a happy meeting.  Josey goes into Paul's room, and he mistakes her for Jennifer! |

Paul was way over the top today, even for him. I'm not buying Lily as Jade's aunt. I can't think of Noelle as ever being Rose. I want to like nuJade but I'll need to see her more. |

I'm glad I watched today (wasn't planning to--I'm about 0 for 3 on that score lately!). I wasn't nauseated until the last five minutes. At least Dusty didn't actually DELIVER the baby. Just hope he doesn't start calling Meg Meggy now. I really like Josie, liking her more and more. |

Josie has managed to quickly become one of my favorite characters far more quickly then other characters usually do. I love her scenes! She has such a natural chemistry with everyone- even though she did participate in a nasty scheme with Paul, I like that she is honest and caring and goes out on a limb to help people- and redeem herself. Gosh, that scene between Josie and Paul were he thought she was Jennifer was spooky! I will be so spitting angry if the show doesn't keep her. Plus Josie and Dusty are all kinds of hot. Poor Babs. She rocked her scenes today, coming to realization just how insane Paul is. I actually like Jade with my initial impression of the recast. I love that Bonnie and Derek appear to finally have a storyline that goes beyond merely being some kind of side character to a storyline. Jade fits as Derek's daughter, in my opinion. Good to see some diversity on this show (even though I LOVED Elena Goode, I'm giving the recast a chance because I do like her). It'll take a while for me to get used to her, but as it stands, she is impressing me just as much as the Casey recast did when Billy first came on board. One of the things the show is getting right, is that while I don't get enough of my other favorite characters Carly, Luke, Noah, Casey, and Alison- with Josie they appear to be delivering the right dosage. Enough of her so the viewer is not over-whelmed, but not too little that we are left wondering where the heck is Josie. |

I was so happy that I watched yesterday's show spoiler free! I got my wish and Paul has had a breakdown and will be committed! I actually liked RH's performance. He's much better when he's acting nuts than when he's romantic. I did not know for sure if Eliza was going to make it and was thrilled when at the end she was healthy. Also did not expect Jade to be arrested. I'm getting used to this now at Memorial but it was odd that Meg's room and Paul's room were across the hall from each other and Meg didn't even notice that Paul was in the hall yelling his head off! CZP also gave an amazing performance. Her reaction to Paul reminded me of her, Will and Jennifer all being committed and now its happened to her other son! I like nuJade but it seems they're making her younger saying she's 19. She should be at least 20 because she was older than Luke. She's also too stylish and made up IMO. She should be more rough around the edges. But her look fits as Lily's niece.
