Dusty seems to be playing "Dear Abby" today. He has a little talk with Ali, telling her not to overthink things when it comes to relationships... then he tells Josey that he knows she won't make the mistake of taking Paul to see Johnny again... and he's just getting started. :devil

Paul, meanwhile, has sorta gotten the okay to leave the hospital and he says he's going to go to therapy. :shutup He then asks Josey if she'll go with him out to the farm to see Eliza, and since Josey never can say "no" cause "that's just the kind of person I am" :shutup they head out there.

Tom Hughes has just left after deliving divorce papers to Meg. She's determined to go through with the divorce.

When Josey and Paul show up, Meg gets really nervous, but Paul reassures her that he's okay now and would never hurt his daughter. So Meg lets Paul look at Eliza and manages to get a call off to Dusty to tell him that Paul's at the farm. She says that Paul is saying that Johnny's in Memorial and Dusty says that's true, so at least that makes Meg feel a little bit better about Paul's state of mind.

Of course, Dusty can't stay away, and shows up at the farm, where he meets Josey face to face. :hmm Before Dusty leaves the hospital, though, he makes sure to ask the doctor to keep an eye on Johnny... :lol :lol :lol Once there, he stands in the background while Meg hands the divorce papers to Paul, who is very sad... Paul stays calm, though, and leaves, with Josey.

Meg lets Dusty hug her and tell her that things aren't her fault. She tells him that Paul was so sweet and Dusty, again in advice giving mode, tells her not to be fooled, when Paul's backed into a corner he always comes out swinging. :waiting

At Fairwinds, Josey tells Paul that sometimes you just have to let people go, but Paul says he's not made that way. :wacko

Things have been set in motion to get Luke and Noah back together again. First, Lucinda tries to talk to Luke, but he isn't listening. Honestly, nothing she said made any sense to me, anyway, it was as if she was speaking a foreign language. :smack Then Jade tells Lucinda that she needs to do something to help get Noah and Luke back together, because Luke has suffered enough. :hmm

Lucinda hauls butt down to Java and forces Noah to listen to her as she talks about why Noah should stop being stubborn and get back together with Luke.

At the same time, Jade's telling Casey that they need to do something to fix things between Luke and Noah... Casey agrees and they head on over to Java, and run headlong into Lucinda and Noah. One thing leads to another and Lucinda, Casey and Jade walk off and Luke goes off on a rant to Noah about their relationship and Noah grabs Luke and kisses him fiercely.... Jade and Casey are privy to seeing that and CAsey puts his hands over his eyes... he's happy but "I don't want to see it!" :lol :lol

Luke and Noah go to Lily's and the house is empty. They go up to Luke's room, lock the door and at last the day has come... they make love. After, both of them are :cloud9 ... and hungry. :biggrin

They go downstairs and Lucinda walks in. She's planning on going home, but Luke tells her that they've got things to talk about... you can see that things are headed in the right direction for them. :2thumbs

Alison's decided, after talking to Dusty, that she's going for it with Casey and she gets tickets to an AC/DC concert in Chicago. She goes looking for Casey, and finds him sitting in the diner with Jade. The two are congrtulating each other on "reuniting Oakdale's favorite gay couple"... :shutup

Ali feels insecure seeing the two of them together and never does tell Casey about the concert tickets before going back to work... :pullhair

Somewhere in the middle of all of this stuff, Tom and Casey end up sitting down and having a father/son talk of sorts. Casey admits that he has a thing for Ali, but that she just wants to stay friends. Tom says that's a real good idea and reminds Casey that he's got a lot to do to get his life in order. After all, he's an ex-con janitor at the moment. :lol :lol Casey says he thought life was all about falling in love and having a family and Tom said yeah, but not right now for you... :shutup

I was glad that Luke and Noah finally had sex. :smack Now everybody can relax. :biggrin

As for the rest of the show, it seemed like more filler again.... maybe it's just me.... :hmm

It's an historic event I wondered if would ever happen. As a gay man who has watched soaps since being a pretty young kid, I was very happy with payoff after decades of waiting.

I enjoyed all the interaction on the Nuke side of things - Jade/Casey, Jade/Lucinda, Lucinda/Noah, etc.

The Paul/Meg/Dusty/Josie crap just needs to get off my screen. Why does that BORING story hog up so much airtime. It's so repetitive and lame and Paul is just creepy in general.

Strangely, I am appreciating PAUL the most out of this group. Then DUSTY, MEG, JOSEY and the children last.

I still have not truly accepted Josey (and the Pussycats).

I would rather ENJOY 1) MEG first...then 2) DUSTY...then 3) PAUL then anybody else. I have never had such a feeling of nothingness for two kids during my history of watching ATWT.

The Crew surrounding NUKE...was much more fun to watch. If JADE ever tones it down a little...she could be one of my favorites.

LUCINDA rocked today!!!!

I wish ALISON would have gone with her feelings and just asked CASEY to go with her to the concert. WHY BRING UP AC/DC if they are not even going to go to Chicago.

Josie deceived Barbara and Dusty is a HORRIBLE way. I don't care what her reasoning was. I can't believe either of them would ever talk to her again.

Now that Nuke finally consummated, time to break 'em up for good.

Luke deserves so much better than that sanctimonious ass. I used to like Nuke back in the day, but it was more for them being new and exciting. I never cared for Noah and only liked him by default, so now that Luke finally got some booty, he can move on to someone who will truly appreciate and stand by him, instead of always thinking the worst and shutting him out.

ETA: Don't mean to rain on anyone parade though. It was long overdue and despite them not actually getting a love scene (a simple fade to black while making out on the bed could have been easily done), I do think it was nice that they actually finally went through with it....

Oh, fee93....I have truly taken your words to heart about the splitting of NUKE so that LUKE could be free.

Probably in JP fashion...they will most likely not last too long together....but just because JP is the nemesis in this problem...the longer NUKE is together (for me) the better. THE OTHER ISSUE is a new actor would have to replace NOAH and I just do not believe that tptb have another gay character waiting in the wings.

I don't see Noah that way at all. If your boyfriend had cheated to steal the election, drank his ass off when he had a kidney transplant, kissed his step-grandfather which you walked in on, you might be upset too. I don't see Noah as the judgmental Jack or Holden type. The beauty of Luke and Noah is that they always come back to each other very quickly and talk things out.

What I want to see is more backstory for Noah. They haven't fully explained his life growing up, and why has he not contacted his mother's family? He got a box of stuff from an Aunt Ruth in the fall of 2007 and they basically never mentioned his mother or her family again. That could be a whole new story, possibly a mystery or adventure story, waiting for Noah and Luke.

I think they'll be happy for a while even though

I just see Noah making harsh judgments so quickly, as if he's some holier than thou person of perfection. When Brian came on to Luke and he tried to explain it to Noah, he quickly brushed it off and basically called Luke crazy. Why doesn't he have any faith in Luke? He always immediately assumes the worst of him.

They weren't like this when Noah first came on, but it always ends up with Luke being wrong, Noah being right and then storming off.

That's called lame ATWT plot device to make sure Luke would be alone with Brian.
