I am glad that this relationship took so long to arouse the suspicions BUT the sidetrips back to this woman, that woman, this woman then the step-grandfather....hurt more than helped. Now that this has FINALLY happened....I do not know how I would have rewritten this storyline.... For the coitus-interruptus...business...LUKE getting shot by his future "father-in-law" doesn't seem so horrible. I think even a Grimaldi kidnapping could have been played out well with NOAH and JACK working together to get LUKE back. I think the kidnapping could have replaced the shooting. BUT...NOAH's DAD was a best candidate for the EVIL GUY....I would have appreciated more NOAH history. Like maybe he could have been a ship's captain of a boat load of animals. The Iraqi diversion.... The return of Maddie.... I liked CASEY and MADDIE but MADDIE and NOAH did nothing for me....except in sharing their love of old films. HENRY and VIENNA could have definitely spiced things up better. I still cringe with UNCLE BRAD's comments. HOLDEN rocks as a gay dad. LILY.... The GRANDMOTHERS were great. I think if the OTHER MAN could have been a HUGHES somehow...then that would even be better.

Advanced Member Posts: 11,246 Group: Members Member #8 Joined: August 31, 2008	And since there were BOOKS being written...I think alot of the emptiness between LUKE and NOAH and the history of NOAH's family and the eventual REAL hookup of the young men could have been a better read with more avenues being new for a public that still needs some better teaching of all things gay. There is "gay fiction" and "straight fiction" and this book could have easily brought these two different genre's together.

It's was sure about time for Luke and Noah to finally get together. Now that they have, look forward to something or someone coming in and breaking them up again. It's the nature of soap operas.
