While Josey's watching Johnny draw a surprise picture for Dusty, Dusty walks into the hospital room and says that Johnny gets to go "home", and off they go to The Lakeview. Meanwhile, Parker finds Craig at The Lakeview. Parker wants to thank Craig for not ratting him and Liberty out the other day, and he's also got a present for Parker, some little trains. There's a nice convo between Parker and Craig about when Parker was little, and a not so nice, from a parent's point of view, convo about Parker and Liberty, with Craig, of course, not seeing anything wrong with Liberty being half undressed behind the bar at Metro. Craig thinks that Parker should give the present to Parker in person and they go to Memorial.Of course, when they get there, they find out that Johnny's been discharged and gone home with his "father". Craig decides they should go over to the Lakeview...At the Lakeview, Dusty's having fun showing Johnny a nice little trainset that's all set up and ready to play with. Johnny likes it, and Dusty leaves to fill an Rx for Johnny, leaving him with Josey. In other parts of Oakdale... Lily shows up at Carly's door to apologize and explain why she didn't want to loan money to Carly. Things go quickly when Carly apologizes first and says she realizes how totally inappropriate it was for her to ask to borrow money from Holden. The two gals head down to The Lakeview for lunch.... ![]() Jack and Janet are sucking face in Emma's kitchen when Liberty walks in and starts teasing them. She wonders if it might be sacreligious to make out in the kitchen like that. They tell her they've got a bid in on a house, and Liberty laughs that soon she can play one parent against the other as to where she's spending more time. Jack leaves for work and Janet takes the opportunity to get to the bottom of things with Liberty about why her sweater was buttoned wrong the other day. After hemming and hawing for awhile, Liberty admits that she has feelings for Parker, and not as a brother, but she doesn't know exactly what that means.... Janet says that she doesn't think there's anything wrong with the kids dating, and what they've got to do now is break the news to Carly, because Carly's going to be the fly in the ointment... with that, they head over to Carly's... ![]() Craig and Parker show up at Dusty's door and Craig tells Josey he's taking Johnny for ice cream. She tries to talk him out of it, but not happening. Craig puts his number in her cell and he, Parker and Johnny leave. Josey calls Dusty and tells him that Craig took Johnny and Dusty calls Jack and tells him that Craig kidnapped Johnny. Jack says he's on it and comes up to Dusty's room. As Josey explains what happened, Jack starts to realize that things aren't exactly as Dusty's making them seem. They call Craig and he tells them to come on down, he's in the lobby of the Lakeview with his son... ![]() In fact, Craig, Johnny and Parker are sitting with Carly and Lily. Carly can't imagine what in the world Parker's doing with Craig and why he would have bought a present for Johnny. Of course, Parker doesn't want Carly to find out that he really did all that to get the chance to thank Craig for not ratting him out... Jack, Dusty and Josey come downstairs and Dusty grabs ahold of Craig and starts yelling at him and saying he's going to kill him if he ever takes his son again... Johnny speaks up and asks Dusty why he has to be so mean. This quiets Dusty down, and he takes Johnny upstairs. But first, Craig manages to say a nice good-bye to Johnny. Craig tells Dusty, "Johnny likes me, live with it." Dusty says, "He's my son, you live with it!" Craig reminds Dusty that Craig is Johnny's biological father and Dusty says that legally, Johnny is Dusty's son, since Dusty has custody. Craig says, "Well, legally aren't you dead? Doesn't that have some effect on this, Jack?" Jack's caught in the middle, of course, and tells the two men to get lawyers and let the lawyers work this out. Josey talks to Dusty and reminds him that he promised Jennifer to work things out peacefully with Craig. He says he's trying, and Josey says, "not hard enough..." . ![]() Jack goes home with Carly and Parker, because he, too, thinks it's goofy that Parker was with Craig, and he wants to know what's really behind it. ![]() No sooner have they gotten home than Janet and Liberty show up and Janet says they're there to say that Parker and Liberty are dating. Parker of course is wondering WTH is going on, and it's kind of funny.... Surprisingly, Carly agrees with Janet that the kids should be able to see each other, as long as they "follow the rules". Jack is the one who is against the idea, but you can tell he's going to get overruled. So Liberty and Parker go to Liberty's house to study, and end up kissing. But first, Liberty asks Parker why Jack seems to hate Craig so much and Parker lets her know that Craig and Carly were once an item... ![]() Janet and Jack are back at the farm, and somehow the topic of Liberty and Parker dating is getting overshadowed by the topic of Carly and Craig... On Jack's part, anyway.... ![]() Back at The Lakeview, Lily's having a heart to heart with Craig and telling him he needs to stop lying to himself and that he'll have to convince any judge that he's a different man now, if he wants custody of Johnny... You can just see the wheels in Craig's head start spinning. ![]() Next thing you know, Craig's at Carly's door, and tells her he's got an idea but he doesn't think she'll like it. She says, "try me" and Craig says, "how would you like to marry me?" Carly closes the door on him... ![]() I liked the show a lot today. It made sense, I could understand where everybody was coming from, it was well written and well acted. ![]() Dusty was again in high Dusty mode, but it did seem that what Josey said to him had some kind of effect. But maybe not the effect she wanted it to have. ![]() Boy, I like this Craig! !

I really like this nu-Craig too. I wasn't prepared to, but he surprised me and for me he just fits right in. But Dusty, he's got to calm down or he's for sure going to lose Craig. He has to out-Criag not out-hit Craig. I don't know if Josie's comments will have a long-lasting effect or not, but if he doesn't chill out, I think Johnny's on his way to Craig's house (wherever that may be......paging Carly!!!) |

Okay, obviously I am keyboard challenged today.....I meant to say "he would lose Johnny for sure" not that he "would lose Craig". That's it, any other typos I apologize for in advance! |

I gave today's show a shot, "live" and liked it I know the Dusty-haters are going to go nuts about Dusty's behavior today but since Johnny, Jack, and Josey (all J's!) called him out about it, I think the show somehow knows what they're doing with Dusty. I thought Dusty was completely in fear-mode today and when he admitted it to Josey, I relaxed a bit. Dusty, when he channels his feelings effectively, is a lot more interesting to watch than the over-the-top caveman bit, IMO. And I happen to love Dusty but he's been too much lately. I really really really liked Josey and Dusty today, and therefore the spoilers make me Barb, I liked Craig today, too Shocking, I know Given how over-the-top he can be (historically and currently), I thought he handled things 90% well. He slid back after the wheels turned and Lily left the table. I especially liked his and Lily's conversation.Lily & Carly - I thoroughly enjoyed them today and was very happy to see them deal with the loan issue and the Craig part. Lily is in a tough spot, being married to the Snyders and such a part of their family in MANY ways, as well as being friends with Carly. The Carly-Holden mess really made things go from bad to gross, IMO, with all that Lily and Carly have gone through together: Molly, Rose, Simon, Katie, etc. Holden and Carly should have remained platonic, period. I'm glat that they are working their way to friendship because heaven knows they could each use a good one. Janet continues to bug me for no other reason than I just don't like her with Jack or anywhere near Carly. Her points about Liberty and Parker were pretty realistic, though. (Her eye shadow was odd today - yellow? ugh) Liberty is annoying. Parker is just goofy and the minute he knows he screws up, he's the typical goofier-than-usual teen, trying to act like he's normal. I loved that Carly and Jack were suspicious but couldn't pin anything on Parker ![]() Previews looked good. I'm awfully sick of nuJade and would love to see her go away immediately. |

God Dusty gets on my nerves. He's such a BIG PAIN IN THE ASS!!!!!!! Must he always go around telling people what they can and can't do. I was so happy when Johnny told him to stop YELLING!!!! Josie is good for Dusty and I could like them together if he would STOP trying to boss her around. She's the sane one in this situation. She's giving the sound advice. He's the one acting like an ASSHOLE. I'm really enjoying Jon Lindstrom as Craig. He's doing a great job. I love'd his interaction with Parker. But I don't want to see anything involving Parker or Liberty or Jack and Janet. Keep Parker with Carly or Craig and he'll be much more enjoyable. NotLily and Carly were reasonably enjoyable today but I'll never accept Noelle Beck as Lily. Josie is the best new character on the show. |

I agree with you about Josie, she is my favorite new character right now. I love how she keeps setting Dusty straight. She's sweet, but not a push-over. He needs someone that can stand up to him, desperately. No more rescuing needy women (so stay away Meg!) Today's show was really good. |

JOSEY....so much love for this newbie...and I still cannot accept her as anything but a Stenbeckian ghoul. There has GOT to be something more sinister about her. I will not be surprised if she makes JULIA LINDSAY into an angel again. PARKER is still a wet noodle. CRAIG...I like this CRAIG. He has been written so much better than some of the previous incarnations of CRAIG. I do miss SCOTT BRYCE and tend to still think of him as being the TRUE CRAIG...but I do give this CRAIG some credit...he is fitting very well. My favorite scene was when he was still looking through the blurred glass door once CARLY closed the door on him after his proposal. JANET and LIBERTY just need to keep acting the way they do and JACK will soon see the light and return to CARLY. |

The writing for this Craig is just recycled from when Hunt played Craig. They have to always make him come out on top so they dumb down everyone else in Oakdale and make them do stupid things. I hated it then and I hate it now. It's sad when I can't even stand to watch Carly because she's stuck with this loser And now they're making Dusty play the fool to pimp Craig too. I like Josie too, but sadly she'll get pushed aside for Meg I'm sure Craig totally disrespects Carly or he wouldn't be doing what he is with Carly and basically telling Parker that it's fine he has sex even though Carly doesn't want it to happen. Something will happen and it won't surprise me if Liberty gets pregnant because Craig helped them get privacy so they could have sex. Janet gets more obnoxious by the day No wonder Liberty has no respect for adults after the way Janet talks to Liberty.
