I just got my TV Guide for next week. Michael Logan says some respected TV industry publication (I don't remember which) is reporting that GL will be canceled sometime in 2009.

Logan also says the 'Net is full of rumors that GL has been told, if it doesn't get its ratings up by *April* it's over.

I've watched this show since I was in elementary school! (Yes, I watched soaps that far back.) I would be very sad to see it go -- although, I suppose, not surprised.

Roger, you're more plugged into these things than anyone I know -- is it the end?

Interesting that you posted this. I was just watching GL and thinking that I really like the nuShane, Marina and Mallett, Dinah.... if the show could decenter itself from Reva, it could be better, although I doubt it would ever get back to where it was in its golden days... :hmm

I'm enjoying the stories on GL right now, too -- and I'm looking forward to Grant Aleksander's return.

I hope it's not too late. :sad :pray

I am enjoying GL way more than ATWT lately. I definitely think GL needs to rise in the ratings and they're counting on Phillip's return to help. I hope it does.

I really hope this doesn't happen. :fingers

Like you Kara, I was watching GL when I was really young.

I agree with Roger, it's been better than ATWT lately. I hope Phillip's returen can make the difference.
