Liberty and Parker are up in Parker's room "studying" but Parker would rather make out with Liberty, and Jack walks in on them before they actually do IT but Liberty's half undressed... Of course Jack is going nuts, and Liberty's humiliated and runs out...

Jack talks to Parker, who's not listening at all and is really being obnoxious. After a few minutes, the talk is over at least for that time, and Parker goes after Liberty.

Jack doesn't waste any time getting on the phone to Carly. :shutup

Carly's at Lily's and the two are having lots of giggles talking about how Craig asked Carly to marry him. Lily says that he asked her to divorce Holden and marry him, but she said no. :lol Of course she knows Craig knew it wasn't going to happen, but... she admitted telling him that he'd have a better chance getting custody of Johnny if he was settled down and married, but didn't think he'd react the way he did....

Carly tells Lily about the latest decision to let Parker and Liberty date, and said that Jack was odd man out on the decision. Then she slyly wondered how Jack would react if she actually did marry Craig. :shutup

About then she got the call from Jack, but before she could leave for home, Jack showed up at Lily's. Jack told Lily and Carly about finding Liberty and Parker. Both Lily and Carly are taking a pretty realistic and laid back attitude about the incident, to the point of humor, really, and Jack keeps asking Lily who's side she's on.... :lol :lol

:josey
Dusty's got Tom as a lawyer in the custody stuff, even though Craig wanted Tom to represent him. Tom said he'll give Craig a referral to another lawyer.

Josey and Johnny are outside, looking at trains. Apparently the train station is right across the street from the Lakeview. :shutup Craig comes out and hugs Johnny and starts talking with Josey. She's so busy telling him that she doesn't want to be in the middle between him and Dusty that neither she nor Craig notice when Johnny walks off! :eek

Inside the Lakeview, Tom's telling Dusty that it's hard to say what a judge will do as far as custody is concerned, there aren't many cases to look at and use as examples... Tom does tell Dusty that he thinks that Dusty should be generous and let Craig see Johnny, this will get Dusty points. Dusty thinks that isn't a very good idea. Well, he acts like he does, but what he says is that he'll let Craig see Johnny, "never, and get stricter from there..." :lol

:josey
Parker's caught up with Liberty and she tells him that she's tired of being caught all the time with her clothes half off, and she really doesn't need a boyfriend in her life right now... she seems to really be on the same page with the rules they're supposed to follow, and asks Parker to stop pressuring her... Parker just keeps trying to get her to change her mind, but just then, they see Parker in the parking lot of the train station....

Parker goes over to Johnny and kneels down next to him. Just then, Craig sees them and heads over there. Suddenly a car comes out of nowhere and is headed straight for Parker and Johnny. Craig pushes both boys to safety. Parker's knocked out for awhile, and that's when Dusty and Josey show up. Josey's told Dusty about Parker being missing and Dusty isn't happy...

Craig keeps his cool and calmly asks Dusty to take Parker back to the hotel, and asks Liberty to call 911. This all happens and Parker regains consciousness and has a headache. At the hospital, the doc says he's not got a concussion and can go home...

Craig's called Carly to tell her what happened. She and Jack and Lily hurry over to the hospital. Jack is at first really angry seeing Craig there, but then Parker tells them that Craig saved his life, and eventually Jack thanks Craig... Craig's mind is working on something, you can just see the wheels turning... :devil

Jack and Carly take Parker home and put Parker in bed. Carly's in mom mode, and Parker's feeling smothered and irritated. Liberty came home with them, and says she'd better leave, but Parker wants her to stay, and Carly agrees, although Jack isn't so sure... Liberty stays upstairs with Parker and Jack stays downstairs, "listening" :shutup while Carly goes to the store to get some food for in case Parker gets hungry later. She and Jack are over their animosity about Craig and Parker and Liberty, and when Carly walks out, Jack gazes after her, with an almost tender look on his face. :heart

Liberty tucks the blankets in around Parker and snuggles up next to him. He sks her if they're good now, and she says yes, they're good... :hmm

:josey
Dusty's over reacting as usual, telling Josey that chances are that Craig arranged this whole thing, about Johnny being missing, and probably had somebody watching the whole time.... Josey can't believe it, but Dusty says it's something Craig would do. Now, Dusty says, Craig has an advantage over Dusty as far as who would be the better parent... He picks up the phone and calls Tom, and says that he's changed his mind and isn't going to compromise one little bit with Craig. :smack

Instead of going to the store, Carly meets Craig at the Lakeview. She tells him she's sorry about shutting the door in his face when he proposed to her, and he said it was a stupid thing for him to do... she tells him how grateful she is that he saved Parker and Johnny. Craig says that Parker's about the same age almost, as Bryant was when he was killed... Carly feels bad for Craig, who's obviously emotional. Craig stiffens his upper lip and tells Carly that if he hadn't realized it before now, today showed him that family is the most important thing... Carly puts her hand over Craig's... :hmm

What can I say? I thought today was another good show. I'm really loving Carly and Lily's interactions. :2thumbs

Jack even came out of his fog and acted like a human being today. :devil

Parker is really not being very nice to Liberty. :cuss I guess though that his behavior isn't all that atypical... but.... :smack

As usual, Dusty isn't putting himself in a good light. :gaah

What were those long ties hanging off of Carly's shirt? :huh

I love how they've got Lily dressed in jeans more often now. :clap

I think this Craig is bringing back the part of Craig that humanizes the character, and makes me root for him, even knowing all his flaws and bad deeds. :heart

Thank you very much for the re-cap. We didn't get the show on the west coast due to the plane crash coverage. (thank God everyone is safe!)

Sounds like it was a good show today. I may try and catch it later on CBS. :heart

When I first heard the news, I was really excited to have Dusty come back to the show. Now, I almost can't watch when he's on. I hate the way he treats Josie, (although we see this often with the men on this show towards women, something the writers should really think about), even though he tries to apologize to her after he yells at her. I can't believe he's being this stupid about Johnny and Craig. This neanderthal way of his is going to cost him custody. I just want to scream at him whenever I see him.

I'm really enjoying NuCraig though and find myself hoping he gets Johnny in the end.

I missed a few small parts of the show, today...but compared to Wednesday...the Thursday episode was okay.

I have also noticed and loved seeing LILY in jeans. It is nice to see the interaction of LILY and CARLY. If CARLY and CRAIG have not been together before...then I would be all for them to return back to each other.

As much as I tend to not like JOHNNY...when I saw CRAIG be the HERO...what I saw was how well he protected JOHNNY but then used PARKER as a PILLOW. It even seemed to me that he knew what he was doing in this strange fact that he did use PARKER as a pillow. I know that is a little warped.

I WANT DUSTY AS FAR AWAY FROM JOHNNY AS POSSIBLE. Then maybe DUSTY can become a character that I can stand. I love DUSTY TOO MUCH to watch him be this father figure.

I missed the good parts where JACK looked longingly towards CARLY. Sometimes I wonder if JACK and JANET will end their relationship mainly because of how JACK treats LIBERTY.

I just wonder if EMILY and HOLDEN IRL...are on vacation. Since they seem to be MIA on the show.

I don't see Craig more humanized at all and rather see him just running another scheme. He's playing Carly big time and sadly she's falling for it hook, line and sinker and in the end it will cost her big time.

I'm not buying how important family is to Craig. If it was important then why did he use the young woman he once thought of as his daughter for frame his brother-in-law so he could blackmail his sister into getting him off the hook for a crime he really committed? Remembering how he had his daughter kidnapped so he could try to play the hero, it wouldn't surprise me if like Dusty said, he actually did setup that stunt yesterday. And if he's such a great father, why didn't he notice Johnny had wandered off? Nope not buying it.

What I wish would have happened is instead of Carly falling for his schtick she would have told him how important family is to her and she sure wishes she still had her sister around that Craig put in a coma! Things like that the writers may not mention but doesn't me as a viewer I forget or ignore those things. This is such a contrived story to try to make Craig look good and I'm not buying :cuss :cuss :cuss :cuss :cuss

I agree with Judy :2thumbs I think the show is bending over backwards to write Craig as a sympathetic character whom Dusty and Jennifer wronged before she died. It begs the question just why did Lucy kidnap Johnny? To make sure Craig couldn't hurt either his remaining children.

I cannot stand how Dusty is acting and I blame the writers for making this turn into a Good Craig - Bad Dusty scenario. Why does it have to be this way, anyway?

I also contend that there should be NO circumstance, ever, in which Carly would entertain the idea of marrying Craig. If she's doing it to make Jack jealous, then the deconstruction of Carly will pretty much be complete in my eyes.

Mind you, I think the actor playing Craig is doing an excellent job with the role. I just can't stand that Craig always comes out on top. It makes me sick since the people he destroys the most are the ones he professes to love. :cuss :cuss

Well, that whole thing with Johnny being able to walk away from Craig and Josey and neither of them noticed was :lame but of course, those things do happen in Oakdale. :shutup I'm not thinking that Craig is such a "great father", but I'm also not thinking that at this point, the way Dusty is being written, that Dusty is any better. :smack I think it's pretty telling that with Babs' history, a lot of us are actualling picking her as the best alternative for Johnny right now. :shutup :lol :lol

I never bought the idea that Lucy kidnapped Johnny because Craig is such a bad father. I think she kidnapped him based on him trying to have her killed, :shutup which of course is a good reason, :lol but of course, Craig never really intended things to go that far... that's Craig's MO, Murphy's Law is his alter ego... :devil

I think Lucy kidnapping Johnny was a horrible idea and showed her to be mentally unbalanced at the time. Face it, she was not thinking straight, and of course, anyway, the whole thing was plot driven, so I for one don't give it much weight in anything that happens now.... :waiting

FYI an interesting tidbit from the show. The director was Kristina Romero whose maiden name is Sisco. Yep the former Abigail directed yesterday's show. After her graduation Goutman had offered to have her come shadow some of the directors on the show and let her direct a few scenes. He was impressed with her work and asked her back to direct a show. I thought she did a good job with it.
