I must admit I am very nervous about how they writer her out this time as it says her pregnancy will not be written into the show.

I'm glad too that they won't be writing the pregnancy in but at the same time it saddens me to think that now we'll have to wait even longer for Jack and Carly to reunite

It probably would have been a wtd story anyway and that's been done ad nauseum. Maybe Carly will leave town to get away from Craig, like maybe on their wedding day.

They could do something like they did when the actress who played Molly Conlin was pregnant. They would just show her in a hospital bed from time to time. Carly could be in a coma with Jack agonizing over her. I sure don't want Carly running off with another Simon like last time. Anyway, congratulations to Maura and Scott! I'm sure they make beautiful babies.

Member Posts: 228 Group: Members Member #465 Joined: December 8, 2008	Thinking about when Maura is due...if she just announced it, she is probably 3 months along which means due date sometime in July so she could finish taping and go on leave in May. Tptb could have Carly go on a summer trip with her kids or at least Sage and JJ and then come back for school which would give Maura two months off!

Last time she was gone 4 but she left early since they went dark for 2 weeks the end of Dec. and it didn't really make sense for her to return for 2 weeks in January although she could have. I'm guessing she announced it because she is about to start showing on air and have people guessing so she could be 4 or 5 months along by now considering how far ahead they tape.
