They shelved the opening after Dusty left the first time, around the same time Scott Bryce got fired and Martha quit. We haven't seen it in over a year now. I don't get why they went through the effort to put together a new opening when they obviously have no interest in removing the actors photos when they leave and adding new ones who are put on contract. Has anyone emailed ATWT about this? I would love to hear what they have to say about this. They are just way too lazy. How hard is it to film someone new and just splice them into an existing spot? |

With that opening it was hard to just film somebody new and splice them in because the background photos all tied to who was in that shot. The first clue was that they never did the 2nd version they were supposed to do with the rest of the cast. People have emailed and asked the sop press editors and nobody ever has an answer. |

They are just trying to survive so I think we're stuck with the title card opening that they are showing now. |

Yeah, I'm sure this is the least of their worries, but it's just annoying that they went through all that effort to change the opening 2 years ago and didn't bother to have a backup plan. |

I always figured they ditched the opening to save time like they have done with prime time shows. With all the time devoted to commercials maybe they wanted an extra minute. At least they have the bumpers to feature the actors. The thing that i find strange is the latest credits that list the actors left off Jake Silberman and I think the actors who play Bonnie and Derek.
