![]() Casey and Luke are talking and Luke realizes that Jade never told Casey to go up to the roof. So he tells Casey what the plan was, and they're trying to figure out why Jade didn't do what she said she'd do, and then they get a chance to ask her in person. ![]() Jade makes up some excuse about trying to keep Casey and Ali from being hurt because she overheard Emily and Casey in Cm's office, and knows that things aren't over between them. ![]() Casey rushes off to find Ali and tell her why he didn't come up to the roof, and Luke tells Jade to tell him what the real story is... of course, he's not getting a straight story from Jade. ![]() Ali, on her way to work, sees Emily at The Lakeview, and Emily tells her to sit down. So Ali does and ends up admitting that she did have feelings for Casey and thought he did for her, too, but now she realizes she was wrong. Emily then goes into this B.S. about how Casey never has gotten over her and was probably using Ali to get back at Emily. Ali looks at Em like she's kind of creepy, and goes to work....Meg and Eliza have spent the night in Dusty's suite, to make sure he doesn't kill Paul. Dusty's feeling better today, and Meg says she's got to go talk to Paul and tell him that she's having her lawyer speed up the divorce and set up monitored visitation with Paul. Dusty tries to get her not to go, but she insists, but at least leaves Eliza with Dusty. ![]() Meg goes over to Fairwinds and Babs is there. She goes into the kitchen to give Meg and Paul some privacy, and Meg gives Paul her news. Of course, he doesn't take it well and starts acting Jamesish... He gets so bad that finally Meg shouts that Paul was right, she does want to be with Dusty... This REALLY twists the knife in Paul and when Meg leaves, after saying she'll do whatever she has to to keep Eliza safe from him, Paul tells Barbara, "I should have killed Dusty when I had the chance... " ![]() Babs tells Paul that he needs to do things legally, in order to get visitation with Eliza, and Paul says oh sure, okay, but he's really got a plan, and asks Barbara to call Meg and ask her if she'll bring Eliza to the Lakeview so that Barbara can see her. ![]() Ali's just checked into work when somebody shows up looking for Casey. Ali turns around and sees Matt! He's "out of jail" and wants to start his life over again, in Oakdale. He starts asking a lot of questions about what's happened in town while he was gone, so Ali tells her supervisor that she's taking her break early.. (I'll say.... ) She and Matt head to the park where she starts filling him in on stuff...Meantime, Casey's gotten to the hospital and is looking for Ali. The supervisor says that she went to the park with some guy... So naturally Casey goes looking...He spies Ali and Matt, and Ali spies him, too, and tells Matt to kiss her! Which he does, and Casey sees and leaves and Matt asks Ali what's going on, so Ali tells him she wanted Casey to see them so he'd know that she is moving on... ![]() Dusty's feeding Eliza a bottle in the lounge at the Lakeview and Emily sees him. So she sticks her nose in his business again, and learns that he lost Johnny... she tries to make him believe that if he'd married HER, he might still have Johnny. Dusty just stares at her as she keeps talking and talking and sounding more and more like a mean spirited busybody... ![]() Later, Dusty's back in his suite and Meg comes back and tells him how things went with Paul. This is just what Dusty expected.... Just then, Meg's phone rings. It's Babs, asking Meg if she can see Eliza, she understands about Meg wanting to protect Eliza. Against her better judgement, Meg says she'll bring Eliza down to the lounge at the Lakeview so Babs can see her, but Paul had better not show up. Babs swears he won't and the two women arrange to meet... ![]() ![]() Casey bumps into Jade and lets her know that things didn't go well just now with Ali, and Jade's not feeling bad about that. ![]() Luke goes to Memorial to talk to Ali and learns that once again, the timing between Casey and Ali was off.... ![]() Later, Matt finally finds Casey and starts to tell him that what he saw between Matt and Ali wasn't real, but Casey says that he's tired of playing Alison's games, and Matt can tell her that... ![]() Jade shows up at Emily's office asking for her paycheck, which Emily is glad to give her and tells her to keep up the good work. ![]() While Babs and Meg are sitting talking, and Babs has admired little Eliza, Barbara starts telling Meg not to give up on Paul. Suddenly the lights go out! ![]() The manager announces that the backup generator will kick in soon and it does, just as Dusty shows up to check on Meg and Eliza. Meg says that Eliza slept through everything, and walks over to the stroller, but it's empty! Eliza is gone! ![]() Now we see Paul walking quickly down a sidewalk holding Eliza and crooning, "don't worry, daddy's here, daddy's here..."

So AGAIN Meg tries to deal with Paul herself and gets NOWHERE when she should have just sent a lawyer to talk to him like Dusty advised! I thought when Meg blurted out she was in love with Dusty all along it was sarcasm but Paul is so far gone he can't recognize that. Anyway she basically agreed with Paul because she couldn't fight him anymore. It is freaky the way Paul is so in his own little world. Clearly he should have stayed in a facility or at least be in therapy. Funny how we never have heard any diagnosis for Paul directly stated by any doctor. Either its Paul conveniently forgetting to go to therapy or more likely the idiot doctors at Memorial lettting crazy people walk the streets! Lets not forget to blame the idiot writers who would rather dramatize a mentally unstable man kidnap a child than show a mentally unstable man attempt to get well. At least when they find Paul and Eliza Meg will have no problem having Paul sent to a psych ward and finally out of her life! Wonder if Roger Howarth's contract is up? Surprise! Allison is still having intimacy issues. Its easier for her to avoid Casey and kiss Matt to keep Casey away than to take a chance. Emily's selfish scheming with Jade is only a small part of the problem. And PLEASE no more of Luke "matchmaker" Snyder! Even if Allison and Casey were to have better timing, she needs to deal with her issues before she can have ANY relationship! Instead of these relationships going in circles, I wish tptb would allow characters to deal with their problems! At least then the storylines can move forward. At least Luke and Noah have dealt with their issues but while we wait for their next SL we get this!

It was definitely Meg using sarcasm, although, I use that term loosely, just to shut Paul up, and of course it went right over his head, or should I say 'through' his head. Honestly, I seriously doubt he has ever had any actual therapy, not counting being kept in the psych ward for awhile, and I wonder if it really was the psych ward, since it was right in the center of a regular floor in Memorial. ![]() Ali, glad that recap was there for you!

If there is anything I truly cringe at during ATWT....it would be baby stories. BUT...I am glad that PAUL grabbed his kid and got ELIZA farther away from DUSTY. MATT...so do you think he has lost alot of weight or hair? I like ALIATT together and wonder if that will ever happen or not? I am tired of MatchmakerLUKE, too. |
