This isn't really a recap, but I just finished watching the show and of course have some thoughts about it.  There was a lot of Craig today. Craig with Janet, Craig with Carly, Craig with Carly and Jack, Craig with Carly, Jack and Janet...  All centering around the fact that Craig enrolled Johnny in Kindergarten and it's his first day and Craig is feeling sad and worried. Now, FTLOG, wasn't Johnny under a year old when Lucy took him? And now, if he's starting Kindergarten, he's got to be at least 5.... no way was he gone that long... this may be the quickest SORAS yet...  I really don't understand the way women in Oakdale act.  They say they don't like a guy, they say they're going to do one thing or another, and without a doubt, they do the exact opposite.  I'm talking now about Carly and Craig. She found him sitting in his car outside Johnny's school and ended up sitting with him, creeping around the school looking for the window to Johnny's classroom, and then having lunch with him.  Poor widdle Katie may never be with child. Of course, she's devastated.  Poor Vienna can't get Henry to give her a baby, but loves him too much to go ahead and use a sperm donor.  Their makeup scene was really sweet and showed a side of Vienna I hadn't seen, and the woman is sure talented.  In the hospital, both Katie's tests and Brad's check of his "swimmers" occured in record time.

Any story line involving pregnancy and infertility drives me nuts because it's never been done well on this show in the 18+ years that I've been watching it... so it's a given, with me at least, that Katie & Brad's baby story is going to stomp on each and every one of my nerves. I missed the show ... darn.

I just popped my tape in for THURSDAY's episode...and I really REALLY wish that JANET and CRAIG would end up together. HENRY is so much MORE enjoyable to watch than the BABY MAKING MACHINE (  ) Why isn't NOAH ever around when OTHERS visit JAVA?VIENNA is a treasure!! And THAT was the BEST JACK and JANET moment I have seen in ages....it was the scene where he just buzzed by the window with JANET holding a cup of coffee. And DITTO for KATIE...she just fainted. And drat...JACK and JANET do share coffee... CARLY looks ravishing (sp). But slow down the scene changing during the first five minutes of the soap.... One thing about ATWT...the first segment of each soap hour...does truly represent the rest of the show very well.... |

Vienna did have a sweet line, "I love the man I am with more than the baby I haven't had yet." but the rest was  material. I am confused about Katie's health issues. It's not clear to me based on DR. Bob's diagnosis if Katie's condition is permanent or not. She has an infection which needs to clear up and then they have to check that everything is working o.k. in the fertility dept. The only problem now is the reality show can't continue which was going to secure Brad's job on Oakdale Now. Just as well 'cause the "reality" show was becoming more like amateur porn! And why was Kim not there when Katie collapsed? In fact everyone just looked down at her like they didn't know what to do.

Anni it was a good show to miss. The whole baby making has become more like porn and does anyone believe that Kim would every have suggested this  And the whole thing is only going to become more ridiculous with the two couples next week.I do think Craig and Janet will end up together eventually. They are sharing too many scenes together to not have something brewing. Craig's fake concern over Johnny was ridiculous. I just wish Janet would have blown his scheme to get them all to the Lakeview at the same time but I think she is too dense for that. I'm beyond sick of Craig's manipulating everyone and the ridiculous faces he makes when he's doing it. Al in all it was just a stupid show.

Funny...my favorite scene for the day was when JACK started to taste in the back of his throat and FINALLY had to leave the FOURSOME at the Lakeview.
